I had read some of the other reviews and thought I had made a mistake. However when I got there and got settled in, I was pleased. I would stay there again. My room was clean and comfy and the service was excellent. Great job!

Booked this hotel on-line. Asked for non-smoking, so of course the room reeked(?) of cigarette smoke. However, the lady at the front desk had us another room within 10 minutes that was great. This is an older hotel so everything is not as "fresh" as it might be somewhere else. But, if you only need a place to sleep it was great.

The hotel was not bad; it was about ten minutes from Boardwalk, eating areas were about the same.

Theroom I'm which we stayed was smoking when we asked for nonsmoking. They were full, so we did not fuss. The shower curtain was molded. The ceiling fan and ceiling were filthy. The other furniture was also stained and dirty. We only needed it for a pause in a road trip but we got out of there ASAP.

This hotel brings shame to the Ramda name. 1 st of all I went to open my room and someone else was already in there. Then once I got another room, the fire alarm kept going off. Odor ,OMG , in the hallway. Ughhhhh

hotel was right off of I20 in SHV price was great hotel very clean and service very good, i got more than my money's worth WILL DO IT AGAIN

The hotel was neat, clean and comfortable.

This hotel has the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The pool was sparkling clean, and the lobby was well-appointed. The rest of the place was a wreck, as they are undergoing a much-needed renovation. When finished, this should be one of the nicer hotels by the airport. Just give it some time.....

When we first entered the hotel (building to rooms) not the lobby; there was a horrible odor. Not sure what the odor was but it was nasty enough to give me a headache. Our room was FILTHY..very dusty and there was a pile of what looked at first like dog mess but later found it could be snuff that had dried up. either way; it was not cleaned up after […] the last visitors. We called the desk; they put us in another room to find out the toilet was not working properly; it wouldn't flush. We had to call maintenence yet again to come fix the toilet. We were really concerned about sleeping in the beds; fear of what might be in the sheets with us.. It was made pretty obvious that the house keepers DO NOT do their jobs. Lisätietoja

The ramada was better than what I expected. I read some of the previous reviews so I knew what to expect. The staff was friendly and very hospitable. I would stay there again.

Room appears clean but we found dirty socks under the chair and a used condom under the edge of the bed.. Not happy!! Hotel is falling apart and looks like its been abandoned a while. Staff was awesome though!

Rooms did not have flat screen tbd like it said....the building was run down

Front desk staff friendly and helpful... mangement staff not so helpful... Hotel is a bit run down but there are renovations in progress. Was there for the Bass Masters Classic tournament, so someplace to sleep cheap was all I needed.

This hotel and the rooms were the worst I have ever encountered in my travels. It should be removed from the hotels.com website. When a person is using your website they are trusting that they will be safe in a clean environment, despite the price they are paying.

This hotel works for when you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep but that is about it. The rooms are very basic and not fancy at all. I was a little annoyed because they advertised that they had flat panel tv's and movies on demand but none of that is provided. They have ancient tube tvs with really bad quality picture and basic cable. No dvd […] player or anything so you cant rent a movie. They do have a fridge and microwave which was nice. The room was not very clean. There were red stains on the wall and some brown stuff dotted all over the walls like a coke had spewed and no one cared to clean it up. When we moved the chair that evening, there was an old chicken bone under it. The sheets were stained as well. So the housekeeping is obviously not very good but at the same time we never saw any roaches or anything like that. I was happy with the breakfast though. It was suprisingly good considering the price. Overall, all we really wanted was a cheap place to sleep and it served that purpose but I would not stay here if you plan to spend any time in the hotel room. Lisätietoja

Shreveport was a half-way mark on our trip, so we simply needed two good, clean overnight stays: one up, one back. We chose Ramada because of its fair price. Neither night was good, but the second was awful. (1) The light over the sink/dressing area did not work. (2) The faucet, once turned on, would not turn off. We had to work for a couple of minutes […] to find a way of pushing on it that stopped the flow of water. (3) There was a pubic hair in the bottom of the ice bucket. Yes, pubic hair. (4) The toilet did not flush well. (5) For those of you who appreciate security, someone inside the motel kept propping an outside door open from the time we got there until the following morning when we left. My wife and I took turns moving the mat or the waste can they used to keep the door from closing. Extremely disturbing. (6) clods of hardened red mud from boots/shoes were in virtually every hall way, from the rear of the second building to the lobby and on the stairs. The clods were there when we arrived on Sunday evening and there when we left the next day (they were there 4 days before when we were on the first leg of the trip). (7) The building had an unusual smell that was covered over by an extremely strong chemical cleaner smell and deodorizer. Have sensitivities? This is not for you. Everything we wore and had carried to the car had that smell on it. The fact that someone inside the hotel was leaving a door near the end of the building open through the night to let someone else in was a security break that was inexcusable--we will never stay there again. The hotel was cole to all the eating places and very acommodating! I enjoyed my stay and I will come again!!

Our room had an order which was all over the hotel. the smell was like dirty carpet. We had no working iron in our room and when we cut the ac unit on it made a loud noise and started rattling. It was just uncomfortable and it stinks.

When we first arrived, the exterior of the hotel appeared to be quite attractive, but that was the first deception. It was late at night, so it was difficult to see what it actually looked like. The hotel lobby was atrocious, it had nice furniture, but loose and dirty floor tile in disrepair and the carpet was very stained and dirty. When I made the […] reservation, because I am handicapped and can only get around using a walker, I had requested a room close to an entrance. The room the young lady put us in was close to an end, that was only accessible by steps. I had to walk the full length of the hallway from the other end of the building to access the room...a hallway that had filthy, dirty, smelly carpet. When we arrived at the room, it was obvious that attempts had been made to make the room presentable. However, there were some things that no amount of cleaning could help: 1) There were pieces broken off the fridge & the freezer part of the fridge had so much ice built up in it, there was no room to put anything in it. 2) The ac in the room only worked when it wanted to. 3) The grout in the bathroom floor was at one time white, but is now black (in all but 1 corner). 4) The tile over the tub had at one point come down and has been put back up so badly that it looks like a child had done it. For the most part the staff did a very good job while we were there. However, we requested a cot when we we arrived, but there was not one available. We requested it again the following morning; we ended up having to ask for it no less than 3 times and then had to go get ourselves. Then, to top it all off, when my husband brought me the receipt for our stay there, I found out the total charged to my card was $40.00 higher than what it was calculated at the hotel. The next time I read reviews for a hotel, I will pay more attention to the date they were written. When I looked back at these, they were 5 years old, probably when this hotel WAS in good shape. Sheets had been washed but put onto bed with blood stains.

The covinence to SHV was very convinent. It only takes about 1 minute from this location. Overall the hotel was average. Nothing to brag about. Breakfast was served every morninig but you have to be there earlier because they run out quickly.

good value for the price.rooms needs updating. good breakfast. easy access to interstate. not a good neighborhood to go walking but never felt unsafe. we would stay there again.

Traveling on business, I stayed here a full 5 days. The staff are great! The hotel needs some work though. The pillows are flat and the beds are hard. But, what can you expect for the price? I went to the lobby at one point to ask for extra pillows and was told that they were out and had some new ones on order. Guess that's part of the rennovation? […] Either way, I go back to the idea that you get what you pay for. Convenient location if you just want to be next to the Shreveport Regional airport. Nothing really to see in the vicinity. We arrived at 10pm and checked out by 8am for one-night stay. For a 2-star, wasn't bad. Bed was decent, but there was a big ugly stain on the room chair so we refused to it on it. Old bathroom tiles and mild odor in the hallway, […] but for the price we paid, nothing to complain about. Complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise - eggs, sausages, biscuits w/ gravy, waffles, cereal and the other usuals. If you just want a quiet night's sleep to catch the next morning flight out of Shreveport, it's a good stay for the price. Lisätietoja

We have stayed at this hotel every year while showing animals at the fair. This year the overall condition on the place has really slipped. In our room, the chair had rips in both arms. There was not a remote control in the room. And the towels were very thin. The location is fantastic, however beware.

I will never stay here again............this place needs to be upgraded in the worse kinda way.......

This is a typical airport hotel. Nothing fancy or anything, but practical. Breakfast was included, and was delicious. Standard continental, but also waffles. Room was clean (get extra shampoo -- the containers are small) and towels were fluffy. Shower had a fixed shower head, but it was a pulsating type. In all, an enjoyable stay. Friendly staff. […] This is a BIG hotel. When checking in, get directions to your room as they are not numbered as easily as you might expect. Would I stay there again? Yes. Was it worth the money? This was a terrible experience. The neighborhood awfullly dangerous with little staff. My room was not cleaned after i even requested it be around 11 when i called to ask for extra set of towels due to the extreme heat and what i was going to be doing. At 8 when I came in they called the manager and she apologized and wanted to clean it then, when I […] was on the way up for a shower. I told her not to bother me. Slum neighborhood, abandoned buildings, etc. Filthy hotel, with some kind of liquid(probably water) on the carpet when I arrived. So I had to wear shoes in my room. Though the hotel advertises laundry facilities, they had no detergent available, and had a ripped up "out of order" sign on the dispenser. Though I put in money to get detergent, I didn't […] get any, and when I asked for a refund the clerk told me they wouldn't because the (ripped up, barely hanging) sign was on there. My toilet clogged up, the maids wouldn't unclog it(that, too, was my problem). Worst experience EVER at a Ramada, a brand where much better is expected. I'll NEVER stay at a Ramada again after that. The person at the counter was unfriendly, we called for someone to fix a leaking bathtub and the woman who answered was very short, smart mouthed, and quite arrogant. We had a do not disturb sign on door the maids kept knocking from early morning until 11:00 even after being told we were not checking out!!!
