WE ARRIVED ABOUT 6;00 pm, the clerk was extremely unfriendly and not helpful. when we ASKED QUESTIONS, SHE APPEARED TO BE ANNOYED. SHE WAS NOT DRESSED WELL, SEEMED LIKE SHE HAD JUST GOTTEN OUT OF BED, ON THE WRONG SIDE. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AND THE MORNING CREW AT THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WERE WONDERFUL,FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Other than the toilet having issues, the room was great, the town was great, and we had a good time in Williams. However, there was a bus full of tourists who thought nothing of making way too much noise very early in the morning. They also ate all of the breakfast before we had a chance (we got there at 8, one hour after it started).

We stayed one night here after 7 hours at the Grand Canyon. Williams is a really cool little town but it's on the other side of the interstate of the hotel so if you stay here, make sure to go check it out. It's like Radiator Springs from Cars. Hotel was clean and breakfast was pretty good and even had waffles. Very pleased with the hotel stay.

Comfy, close to resturants, right off freeway

Very disappointed with stay at this facility. Front desk was not very personable. Kept working on computer, not even looking at us when speaking to us. Not dressed very professionally. Room was okay. The WiFi was down throughout our entire stay (3 days). We were told the owner was bringing in a guy from KANSAS CITY to work on the WiFi and he was supposed to have been there 4 days ago. The hotel did not supply any personal care items, not even a bar of soap!! The TV was lousy with only 13 working channels, and no hook up for our Wii. I stayed for 2 nights. First of all, the hotel is pretty clean. I found nothing bad about the cleanliness of my room except a couple stains in the carpet. The linens all appeared to be stain-free. Our room is located by the stairs, which I highly do not recommend. If i was staying any longer I would have to switch rooms. The foot traffic is very loud […] all through the night. Also, don't expect to get a TV remote. There is an older non-flat screen in the room I was in, and where. I asked for a remote they said they would try to find one, but the second day when I went back to see of they got one, the lady said no, and that other people still need one too. The hotel was nice enough, and the price couldn't be beat. We were taking the train to the Grand Canyon and wanted a slightly less expensive place to stay than the hotel associated with the train. HOWEVER...the door to the wing with the rooms had a broken spring and slammed shut everytime someone went through it. Our room was steps from this door and […] it slammed all nigh until around 12:00 and started up again at about 4:30. I told the front desk about it after the first night, and they just shrugged thier shoulders, like there was nothing that they could do. very outdated/old, in the middle of nowhere, felt like I was at the Bates Motel. Staff nice enough but would not stay there again.

I found the front desk clerk to be very friendly and personable, especially considering the time I arrived.

this is the old Fairfield Inn in Williams and is fairly standard. The price per night could not be beat. However there is no WIFI. There is a very weak signal that was such a narrow band as to be unusable. That happened to be important to me on that night so that was a big problem. Nice hotel - very good price. Poor wi-fi. They claim they are working on it. I would stay there again.

TV, Phone did not work. There is no proper sign for room nos from parking lot. In the middle of the night, we struggled for 5-10 mins to locate the room. I had horrible experience in connecting to internet. Wasted 45 mins and finally no success.

no TV service ..... old TV's and very few stations......poor quaitity of towels.....no internet....room keys almost never worked....need new keys Plus.....very good breakfast.....front desk tried to help....

Friendly front desk receptionist. Enjoy their free great continental breakfast. Would stay here next time if I need stay near Grand Canyon in non perfect season for camping.

Room had no working locks on door. Had to request a different room. New room appeared to have been used by someone for a nap. Covers and pillow wrinkled. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok, minimal. Snowy,icy sidewalks not cleared. Even with all this, bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Nice staff, spacious rooms - a bit noisy maybe with the trucks parked close by.

Very convenient if youre taking train to grand canyon

This hotel offers good value. The room was clean and the items put out for breakfast were much better than some of the other hotels I've stayed at lately. The bathtub is very small. I'd go back again.

No wash cloth in room, no soap in bath, no shampoo - staff only left 2 conditioners,caulk around bathroom tub very poor, toilet roll dispensers in bathroom were installed crooked on wall - the person must have been blind to not see how crooked they were, no iron in room. Would not recommend this hotel.

for a short stay, we found a comfortable and cheap hotel; the insulation was great because we could not hear anything outside; it was wonderful.

Purpose of Williams, AZ is to be a 'base camp' for Grand Canyon trips. For this purpose hotels serves well. It's located just off highway and under 2 miles from AZ64 (Park gateway road). Overall quality is ok, nothing extra special. Breakfast selection is poor, but other eateries are in brief distance. The main complain is WiFi coverage (around reception […] only). My stay was good except that there was no wifi only showed signal but had issues trying to use the free service and not all rooms have a flat screen as it says in the descriptions overall place is clean but it lacks profesional people at the front desk......

We chose this Quality Inn because we always choose hotels with inside corridors. The location was very convenient, and affordable, but the hotel is definitely in need of a renovation.

Coffee pot did not work, tv remote control did not work, complained about it and nothing happened, other than that I would stay there again

We chose place because of the price and it was on the way to the Grand Canyon. The staff at the front desk who greeted us was rude and did not even check my ID when I checked in. The door to our room stuck and made it hard to open. This caused a little problem when we though our key didn't work; the door was actually just stuck partially open. It was […] impossible to tell from looking that it was open. Anyone could have gone into our room and robbed us. The sheets had stains (blood?) on them. The beds were not made properly (no fitted sheet, just a small top sheet laid on it) and very uncomfortable to sleep on. On top of all his we were awoken at 3am to loud laughing and talking in the room next to ours. All in all I'd say the quality in this "Quality" Inn was false advertisement. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. When checking in, we noticed that our room had not been cleaned well. There were cookies all over the floor. The sheets were stained and the room smelled musty. The toliet did not flush and they could not fix it for us. The bathroom shower and mold. It was a very unpleasent stay.

I am not one to normally complain.... but I thought this one deserved a comment. We stayed at this hotel a few years back before going on the Grand Canyon train and it wasn't too bad, so we chose it again for the Polar Express. We got to our room and it seemed to be a bit more dingy than the last time we came. The TV had no remote so I went to the front […] desk and she told me they were all out of them cause people kept taking them. Okay... I guess I can understand that. But then the TV would not even turn on. When I asked the desk about that the response was, "Yea, we have had a few dying. Sorry." Bummer, but we brought the computer so I guess we can just watch a few streaming Netflix. Yea, right! Once I finally got connected to the Internet it was so slow that a regular page wouldn't fully load, much less offer the ability to stream. Beware..poorly maintained hotel with no elevators. The shower handle was loose and about to break off. There was no TV remote and when I informed at front desk she said she will have it sent in couple minutes which did not happen until we checked out. We requested for a room on the ground floor as there were no elevators and were told that the hotel […] was sold out and that there was a bus load of people coming that night. That night and the next day morning there were hardly 6-7 cars parked in front of hotel. Not sure why the receptionist could not accomodate us. The Internet did not work at the business center when we tried to do an online check-in for our flight and were again given excuses that the issue had been there for over a week and even the technician was unable to find out what the problem was. I slept and used the toilet, but left without taking a shower, this place just oozed filth. The security door to get into the building was broken. There was trash overflowing into the courtyard. The lady behind the front desk informed me that the internet was "busted" and that I could use her office computer if I needed to check my email. Just gross, […] gross, gross. If you're looking for a spot close to the Railway, then this is it! Cheap, easy to find and good enough for "just a place to sleep." The internet connection is a joke, but the breakfast is decent. In our room there was no remote and the phone did not work (we didn't need it, but FYI)

Hotel had a good breakfast. It was a cheap stay for a short weekend. After we checked into our room we called the front desk b/c our fire alarm was beeping. They changed our room b/c the manager who had access to the batteries was out. The bottom of the tub was peeling.

convenient location, close to restaurants and fast food places; just about 55 miles to the Grand Canyon; Bearizona wild animal park close by, very exciting for kids. hotel itself needs some repairs on outside, but all in all ok, especially when you are on a budget, reasonable price per night...

The front desk girl was so incredibly unprofessional! The girl was condescending and rude. If she were my employee; I'd fire her in a heartbeat. There were two guys sitting at the front desk that apparently did not work there. They were just playing video games. Then this girl appears wearing a sports jersy or jacket and was completely unprofessional. […] She handed us our key as she bent over to the video games to play with the boys. No...have a nice night or go to hell or anything! The room itself was pleasing to the eye and was actually comfortable. The bathroom, however was really horrible. It smelled so much of mold and mildew. You could actually see the black mildew. The cultured stone on the shower wall was badly cracked. There was a painted coating on the bathtub floor (unprofessionally done). Probably the worst thing, though was that this bathroom was dirty!! I had to clean it before I could use it. There was dried pee on the back of the toilet and the toilet seat!! There was visible dirt and pubic hair on the floor. Clearly, this room had not been cleaned well after the last visitor. It was actually quite appalling how dirty this bathroom was and how rude the front desk girl was. We will never stay in another Quality Inn again and I'm quite disappointed with Hotels.com for even having this hotel as a choice of hotels in Williams, AZ. Lisätietoja

We stayed in this hotel when it was previously a Marriott Fairfield Inn and can tell they sold it because the building needs some updating, but it's perfectly fine for a less than 5 star hotel :) The best part of this stay was the Breakfast! Holy cow! They had hard boiled eggs, hot sausage, cereal, yogurt, waffles, bagels, toast, juices, coffee, oatmeal, […] apples, bananas.....I may be missing something but I'd say they saved me at least $30 on breakfast!
