This hotel is horrible. The mattress sloped toward the middle of the bed, the comforter had a blood stain on it, the wall paper was peeling off all over, the ceiling tiles were falling down, the hot water didn't work in the sink, the shower handles were horrible. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone so if you are reading this, DO NOT STAY AT […] THIS HOTEL. There is a La Quinta Inn about 1/4 mile south that looked much nicer. Best of luck Lisätietoja

keys didn't work no hot water in sink hear trains all night long

This place is a dump. Carpet was filthy. Parking lot littered. Door didnt fit properly. Room info sheet stained and crusted.

I can't imagine this hotel has any repeat customers. I booked this hotel based upon the Econo-Lodge brand and competitive pricing. If I were Econo-Lodge, I would rescind the license. The hotel is not well maintained and the surrounding area is "iffy", at best. Stay away and get a hotel at the next i-90 exit. You'll be doing yourself a favor.

This hotel was located in a very sketchy part of town. Once in our hotel room there was a large hold in the wall from where the door had been slammed open one too many times. The hotel room was very old and outdated. My family refused to take a shower in the room because it was stained and the towels all had something that looked like a rust stain on […] them. When turning on the faucet it made a very loud screeching sound which made it impossible for anyone to wash their hands after using the bathroom in the morning without waking everyone up. The fridge also made a knocking noise every 15 minutes so we unplugged that. The beds were uncomfortable and old, nevermind crooked and hard. My husband and I slept on a slant the entire weekend. The heat was too noisy- I had to turn it off in order to sleep then, became chilled.

We were not happy with this location. We did check in but decided to go elsewhere. When the door when locked could be opened from the outside did not make us feels secure when reported to the desk were told to lift up on the door as closing Where then told that someone would fix the lock was not acceptable. Our first impression of the Motel was chairs […] used to keep the doors open on unocupied units. A trash can outside our room and no grass or flowers in the flower bed. Lisätietoja

There were bug bitings. They should really keep the room clean.

It was ok. Price was cheap. Needed a place to rest my head.

the worst ever, smell really bad, bad neighborhood,

my stay there wasnt unpleasant it was short but a nice stay it was located near alot of stores and close to down town southbend and near the southbend airport. the cleaniest wasnt bad although the lighting left some to desire and i didnt learn about the internet until i left which didnt stop my surfing cause i used it next door to them at the mcdonalds […] which is about 3 feet away from a previous tenant but still i stayed in worse. We were not aware of the area of town the hotel was in. We were just there for one night so it wasn't too big of a deal, but unexpected. The room wasn't too bad...except for the fact that the toilet stopped working in the middle of the night and the next morning. How is that convenient?? We were quick to check out in the morning and not bother with […] the bagels and danishes that they had out for the free breakfast. Slim pickin's! This hotel is in a horrible part of town. It seemed like prostitution, drug dealing and crime were regular occurrences here. The beds were covered in filth, door keys never worked (need front desk to manually open it every time, the shower handles were stripped and needed a lot of elbow grease to turn on the flow of water (which was a trickle at best). […] The locals warned us of big roaches, bed bugs and robberies that happen there often. The room was extremely overpriced (due to Football weekend), in poor condition, and had paper-thin walls. Would not recommend.

This hotel was in a bad neighborhood and I would not recommend for Families or young woman. Our room was run down with holes in the ceiling and walls, plus the parties all night from local guest kept us up! I will not be staying here again for safety and health reason! But, staff was great!

I just needed a place to stay overnight with my kids and was pleased that this hotel was available and cheap booking just 30 minutes before we arrived. The really only negative part was that the room smelled a little funny - faint odor of gym locker, maybe? The other reviews pointed out peeling wallpaper, this was true but honestly doesn't bother me […] much for a quick overnight stay. Floors creaked, the bathroom was dirty, I got a smoking room because I like to have 1 or 2 while I'm there but when I walked in the room the smell hit me like a ton of bricks. The carpet looked as if it hadn't been vaccumed in weeks, I left my shoes on. I stayed 2 nights for a wedding and was on a budget but I'll GLADLY pay an extra $30 a night next […] time. Lisätietoja

I was traveling and only needed an overnight stopover, something clean and cheap. This hotel was fine, considering the rate--I wasn't looking for anything special. The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy, but otherwise things were fine.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while attending a wedding at the University of Notre Dame. We are on a tight budget and couldn't afford the suggested wedding attendee hotel, but Econolodge fit our budget and was a great deal for the price and location. The room was clean when we arrived Friday night and clean with fresh towels when we returned […] between wedding and reception Saturday afternoon. The continental breakfast wasn't much to write home about - get there early if you want a danish or bagel before they run out - but for the low cost, this hotel provided a clean room, a bed to sleep in, warm showers, and adequate space to get ready for attending wedding.
