Super 8 Williamsbrg Pottery Va - Williamsburg

I was at this Hotel years ago and the service and room accomodation was excellent but this year I did not care for my room or service at all. Very disappointed.

the room was clean, toilet easily stopped up

The only thing that was disappointing was that the elevator broke during my stay, and since my room was on the second floor, my friend had to carry me up to the room, as he is a strong young man this was do-able but difficult. In the future i would recommend that you ask hotels.com to inform customers of the fact that you only have one elevator, so […] that people with disabilities can make a informed decision. I have stayed in these hotels before and I would have to say I was not impressed at all. There was not enough towels or toilet paper. When I asked for more towels I was given the only towel the front desk had which turned out to be a floor towel and which was also dirty. When I asked for more toilet paper I was given a roll that was less than half and […] was told that's all they could find. The beds were hard, my room didn't have a fridge like all the other rooms. This place is in a good location. But the condition, the room necessities, the cleaning staff, all need lots of help. The price and the heater in the room were the only highlights.

Heat didnt work in first room we were in, they put us in another room, and heat was ok. the next morning when i went to shower there was no hot water. frustrated, i got ready, got some breakfast and checked water again after getting dressed and then hot water was working. 4 of us stayed in this room and only 2 towels were provided. would not recommend […] at all. This motel is very close to shopping and plenty of restaurants. However, the motel is in need of repairs and the rooms are horrible. The pillows and mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. The motel is near the highway, so the rooms are noisy.

We stayed for one night. The first room they gave us could not be open using the key card. You have to wiggle the key card left and right to get the door to open. We don't want to spend 10 min every time to just try to open the door. They gave us another room. The second room was not Non-smoking, it smells. Finally the 3rd one was a non-smoking room […] and clean. The room we stayed, the bath room toilet paper holder was broken. The shower faucets were hard to adjust and they felt like falling off the wall. There were whistling train passing by around 2:00am and 5:00am. This motel was horrible, the stairs to the second floor were broke and rusty. In the room 2 of the lamps didn't work. The pillows were lumpy. Overall,please use another motel even it costs more!

Nasty rooms.Hard mattresses. No clean towels. Stained sheets. Train going by every 2 hours and blowed horn. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever!

We were so shocked that the Super 8 's in this area were so run down. The room that we booked ahead of time was Horrible and smelled like cat pee. We had to get the desk clerk to go smell for her self. This almost ruined our stay. I say almost because..she showed another room that had no smell like that. We stayed because of their cancellation policy […] only. We should have just took a lose. We needed wash clothes and towels that night, there were no more they said, so the next morning we asked for some and again there were none. Ive never in my life been more disappointed in a place of business. The steps and rails outside are rusted out but they are covered by carpet. Our children's socks were black from the dirty carpet in the room. The beds were terrible you would be better off sleeping on a board. So with that being said, the train that runs behind the place all night blowing the whistle is a bonus! This place should be condemned and Housekeeping if they even have anyone should be fired. The location was good. Noisy most of the night. The beds were hard and not very comfortable. The hair dryer did not work and not enough towels. We had 2 adults and 2 shildren and only 2 towels. The price was good, guessing this makes up for the other. Will stay at another Super 8 but probably not this one. Then again it could have just been this room […] and we may try again. Lisätietoja

The price was very cheap and its got everything in the room. They also have room service every in the morning. It was great to staying there. So, i'm going to stay there for another weekend.

I really like staying at this hotel because of the trains coming thru. I'm a big train fan. Plus the fact that shopping and resturants are all very close by and with the Hardees being next door to grab that quick bite or dessert thats fantastic.

Hotel was very nice and convenient to shopping and resturants. I would recommend my friends and family to stay and I would return. The rooms should be furnished with enough linens for 2 people and "do not disturb" signs need to be provided. The maid almost walked in.

I was a late arrival, tired and received a comfortable room. I would return to stay at this motel again. Great stay for the price!

Don't expect much from this motel. The air conditioner worked great but the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom wasn't very clean. There was a blood stain on the pillow case. If you like to sleep in be aware that a train passes right by the motel at 6 am every morning. It is a great alarm clock but it might be a problem if you are trying to sleep […] in. Go to this motel only if you want cheapest motel and don't worry about quality. Needs lot ot maintenance. Specially, when taking shower water is either extremely hot or cold, beware!!!
