we were in jacksonville for our 10yr wedding and the stay was great i love the location and the staff was wonderful. Hotel was great. The only problem we had was that the distance from our interest point was the length across the river. We had to go all the way around the river to get there. But it was great for 2 guys that needed to lose a few pounds. It was a great experience!!!

We chose this hotel because it was close to Metro Park. However, the distance from the hotel to Metro Park is only .8 miles if you swim straight across the river. We had planned on walking to and from the event at Metro Park, but walking distance was about 2 miles which wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't through a bad part of town. However, there was […] a pontoon boat taxi service that took us across the river to the park for about $4.00 per person, and that was pretty nice. As far as the location, the hotel is in a nice enough area but you do have to drive about 10 minutes to get to food or shopping. The hotel itself was dingy and in need of updating and some fresh paint. The staff was not very friendly or useful. They charge $10 to self-park at the hotel which is absurd because they are the only hotel in the area that charges for parking. It is $12 for valet parking if you can find the valet. We just drove down the side street and around and managed to get in the parking lot that way- which by the way we did not get charged for. The bed was very comfortable, but there was a tray of food left in the hallway the whole time we were there. Also, the water never got hot in the room. Overall if you are looking for an inexpensive overnight stay, this is ok. I wouldn't recommend an extended stay. Lisätietoja

The staff was friendly, the food/service above average, and the location to downtown, roads is fantastic. Sadly, this hotel is in need of a total remodel. Mold/mildew present, musty smell in many areas, furniture in poor repair. The rate I was offered, plus the relo to a riverview room made the stay "of value". The hotel staff Kenneth was very helpful when I checked in and was able to switch my room to a double bed room instead of a king. The bathroom is small and the hotel rooms need to be updated . Only problem I had is when the party came out the restroom the picture glass fell on the floor and broke every where I was highly upset, but again Kenneth and […] the little staff he had that night came and took care of everything. Hotel services failed to provide the wake up call I placed. Only one light fixture worked. Electrical outlets adjacent to the bed / near the ac did not work to charge a cell phone. Shower head was loose and a large portion of the water for the shower dripped out of the connection and not the head of the shower.

Beautiful hotel and there is plenty to do. We did not even use our car. The kids wanted to move in!

I have stayed at this hotel before under a different name. It is a great hotel for the price. It needs a little sprucing up. The Front Desk staff is awesome. They are very friendly and accommodating. The pool is small but the location is great to downtown and easy to get to. Try it out and enjoy the stay.

Wyndham should now be rated as a 1 star hotel. All their attention is paid to the lobby, the rooms were worse than a motel. Stayed in Wyndham twice in 3 years and the same experience each time. Request Hotels.com to unrate this hotel as a 1 star...

Great time at the wyndham the staff was great building need to be renevated. new phones in rooms, update carpetting and mold in rooms. I know this has to be approved by higher up so I dont fault the staff for the renevation process but the Wyndham in Jacksonville is ok but not the standard that they normally have in other cities.

Clean room,very comfortable bed. Tiny old bathroom. Bleak lobby, turn on some lights! Pay for parking.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days customer services was excellant by everyone but the hotel over all is not up to the Wyndham standard, time to renevate. I believe there was water leaking from somewhere that make the area entering into the bathroom smell sour. The valet service was good. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Some room for improvement- called room service and left message. A half hour later someone called back but I already ordered something from pizzahut. In the morning went to restaurant, but no one acknowledged me for 10 min so I left. The location was good but the hotel was in poor condition. Moldy ceilings and wall. And Fabreeze can only do so much. Wont stay there again.

The hotel was great. Great service and staff. Great location with walking decks surrounding the river. The resturaunt on location was great espceially the greater. Love the views and all the hotel has to offter. Love the river taxi

Sure, I know that things happen, but it was just too bad for all the guests waking up in the morning to go to their respective meetings to wake up with no running water because of a pipe that had burst. The room needed some reworking and the bathroom had a smell of urine. Overall the hotel is a great value.

I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED FOR THIS SMALL ROOM. U WOULD THINK BY THE PHOTO THAT THIS IS A NICE HOTEL BUT DON'T BE FOOLED. THE ROOMS DON'T EVEN HAVE FLAT SCREEN TVS THE DRAIN WAS CLOGGED IN THE SHOWER. AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF, WHEN MY KID WENT TO PULL THE COVERS BACK TO GET IN THE BED, THERE WAS A BUG IN THE BED. WE IMMEDIATELY PACKED OUR THINGS AND CHECKED […] OUT!! Hotel was at best shabby. Locks on doors were not secure. TV was old. Questionable cleanliness

They say don't judge a book by its cover.... So true with this hotel. The first room smelled so moldy that I had to change, the second option (upgrade?) smelled of urine and the bathroom floor was "sticky"..... Title says all. I booked this hotel despite other reviews that I read and was thoroughly disappointed. Most everything in the room is just old and outdated. Once you leave the lobby which is really nice and new and take the elevator to your floor, the difference in era is astounding. Hotel staff (front desk, bar, etc.) were exceptional. Could not have been more helpful. We had 2 connecting rooms and the doors obviously were not used often. We had to move furniture and step over extension cords to go from one room to the other. Floor was dirty under the moved furniture. Bath tub would not drain. Had 6" of water in tub after a shower. Fire […] alarm went off 3 times between 10:45 and 11:45 p.m. Front desk staff were most courteous and offered a free breakfast for our inconvenience. This hotel is not a nice hotel, not sure why it is rated as 4 starts, dark dingy rooms, dingy bathroom, weird smell in the room with window ac unit. I would NEVER stay here again.

We stayed here because it was close to the hospital and we were going to the hospital daily for our daughter having surgery. This hotel never cleaned our room, and at 10:30pm when we returned from a long day and found our room undone, we called for some clean towels. They never brought towels to us. So the next day we called again for clean towels, […] and they said again they would bring them, and never did, so we had to go find someone to get them. requested king size bed with balcony which war confirmed when we got there none were available so we had to sleep apart for the first time this was unaceptable

Stayed here for one night. The hotel itself is clean and it looks like it's more for business related stays. The beds were very comfortable and it's located in a good area. Gotta pay $10 to self park, not sure if it's each night though. Would stay here again if I found a deal again.

very convenient to I-95.

I had to change rooms 2 times, the first room smell like wet carpet and smoke.The second room the sink was leaking under the bottom all over the bathroom carpet. Finally the 3rd room was right!

This hotel is great as you walk in. The bar keepers and servers are not at all eperienced in their feild. The halls and rooms are dated and full of patch work on the walls. POOR QUALITY. The towel bar was hanging from wall in or friends room. I would say that for the price there are better choices and food. I was served RAW CHICKEN. Nice people and service. Great architecture and even greater location, right across from the downtown. The waterfront was right outside of the windows. One comment I would have is that the hotel is somewhat old and it shows. But it is clean and decent. Don't expect a ritzy place, but if you want a good place, this would do.

Conveniently located to where I want to be. Large spacious rooms. A little outdated, but it's an older hotel. The restaurant & bar left a lot to be desired. Terrible service, and lunch was supposed to start at 1100, but they told us we had to come back at noon. Rates are cheap b/c you have to pay for everything No soda machines worked.
