Very clean and comfortable rooms, spacious and decorated elegantly with modern decor. Well equipped and located inside the West Edmonton Mall with easy access to much entertainment. Friendly staff and overall value for money.

Our stay at the Fantasyland Hotel in West Edmonton Mall made everything so convenient. We went shopping, swimming, on rides, skating, to the casino and had a large choice of places to eat. There was something for every member of the family. The hotel staff are efficient and courteous, and the rooms very comfortable. We hope to go again.

FantasyLand Hotel Review: Our Family was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the Fantasyland Hotel. We stayed with two other families and were woken up two nights in a row by disturbances in the hallway. Security was NO HELP, they actually let the loud obnoxious drunks stay in the hallway. Despite multiple calls to security, we spend two nights awake from 3-5 am, […] then had to wake up at 7 to our own young children...which made our days miserable...we did not get to enjoy our vacation as we should have...I am very disappointed, the next day when we confronted the hotel with our ordeal, all they said was "at least you are all ok' and 'that's too bad'...they did not offer to refund any part of our stay, we will definately not stay here again. The only thing this hotel has going is it's location. We were also unable to use the shower in our room, it constantly switched from extreme heat to cold; again the hotel simply said 'sorry'. Everything was great, except the elevator was undergoing renovations (supposedly taking months) and the wait was up to a half hour long during peak times. Understand repairs need to be done, however little done to accomodate.

I stayed at the Fantasy Land Hotel in one of the theme rooms and was quite disappointed. I expected a lot more for the amount that is charged and the room was not very nice.

This was our 3rd time at fantasy land hotel, clean,comfortable,conveniently located to "world waterpark" which we love!..... staff helpful and polite, only problem is the mall closes at 9pm so with so much to fit in i wish the amenities could close about 10pm!!! overall a great place and will definatly return.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and were there to attend a wedding. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Very impressed with the hotel staff and conference/wedding coordinator. Friendly , helpful and very professional. Would reccommend having a wedding or conference their. Only small complaint the elevators were slow- however they did have signs […] posted that they are being worked on to updated . Pricing was reasonable during the week a bit high on weekends. WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING WE WANTED. FACILITIES WERE TOP NOTCH REALLY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

Hotel elevators and hallways were dirty and old. There were only 2 of 4 elevators working so you had to wait 10 min every time you needed an elevator. Service was not great. Rooms were decent but did not make up for the rest of the hotel.

It was alright. The room was clean but missing a few usual things like tissue and facecloths, etc. The elevators were down and there were only 2 working ones for many floors of guests which made for long waits. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

We were very happy with the hotel, the service was great ! When we checked out before 9:30 am they offered us a coupon for a free buffet breakfast- that was a nice surprise as it was not mentioned anywhere when we booked.

Had a nice stay. Conveniently located. Decent size rooms. No complaints.

Nice hotel! Good service with friendly staff, and very clean rooms. Not too much more $$ if you want to be near the West Edmonton Mall Elevators were causing a bit of trouble, and we got a free breakfast because of the inconvenience!

Everything was great never had to move the car. Everything we wanted was at our fingertips. No complaints.

Hotel is decent enough, but a bit dated and tired. The Hotel.com price is good but would not stay there at the rack rate. It is convenient for visiting the West Edmonton Mall. Bottomline is that there are better hotels for your $, but if you want the convenience of being at the Mall, then it is a good choice.

I found the staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean but best of all quiet.

the room was clean and comfortable. only a couple of elevators were working. I did not like how you had to pay over 8.00 CAD to access the hi speed internet and you can only use 1 computer to access it. Which means if you are using your laptop, you will not be able to access the wi fi with yor ipod. otherwise you have to pay another 8.95. surrounding […] shops that was not in the hotel were cheaper than the shops attached to Fantasyland. I stayed at the Fantasyland hotel in early May. I had booked one of the least expensive rooms and was surprised when I checked in that I was upgraded to a king suite with a jacuzzi. The front desk staff was always helpful with any questions I had, and the location was excellent. It was so easy to leave the room and pick up something quick to eat at […] the food court across the hall. The Superior room is their version of a 'Standard' hotel room but its not standard at all, its far above standard in quality and cleanliness. Very good rooms, not cheap but worth the money. It was our first time staying at the fantasyland hotel in the edmonton wall. It was so convienient for shopping and running down for food. Lots for the kids to do. We did not get a theme room but was very happy with their standard room with the 2 queen size beds. The staff were wonderfull. I can think of nothing to complain about. The worst part about our stay at the hotel was the fact that the elevators were not working at optimal efficiency. I waited for 10 minutes for one and ended up being late for a conference. I assumed I could ride the elevator to my room during a break and get back down in time for it to restart but the elevator took 10 minutes to come. Can't beat the location if you want to shop at the West Edmonton Mall, but you pay for it.

Price is quite expensive for value received, however, because of location we were willing to splurge. Not happy with paying top dollar for a room and then finding that only 2 out of 4 elevators worked and one of those was sporadic. Wait times were unbelievble. We stayed on the 10th floor and ended up using the stairs. Not what I paid for!!!

Aside from the convenient location, I have nothing positive to say about my experience. The elevator wait-times were horrendous - often 20 minutes or more. The rooms were pleasantly updated but the cleanliness was questionable. The few staff they had working were working very hard and I felt sorry for them. They were definitely understaffed. Convenience for shopping and entertainment is excellent, the hotel is in need of some maintenance. The most annoying problem is the elevator service. Guests sometimes waited 15 min. or more for am elevator to arrive at their floor. The stairwell is scary and dark. 12 floors is a little to far to carry your bags. It was really great! I was one adult and 4 kids and they let us check in early and had everything sent to the room. Then when we checked out they stored our stuff. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the room was great, Clean and comftorable. The beds were great. The mall was lots of fun. The kids had an absolute blast!!! The elevator wait was ridiculous, we took the stairs after a half hour wait, and the breakfast buffet in L2 grille was totally unorganized and understaffed.

Not happy with the experience of staying there. Elevators took too long if they even stopped at our floor. Outdated, worn troughout the hotel. ( Front desk, rooms, hallway, entrance) Expected a lot more for the price of the rooms.

My stay was fine. The only concerns was that there was no stairs to the floor where room was on. The elevators created a long wait and would have preferred using stairs. There was no separate parking for hotel guests.

We love the fantasyland hotel mainly for its convenience. You can stay, see a movie, shop, play or just relax all while your vehicle stays parked at no charge or valet for a reasonable charge. No one has to worry about driving after a couple drinks or finding your way around a busy city in the unfamiliar dark. I love staying at the Fantasyland hotel...it's a one stop shopping, entertainment and relaxation experience. It's so convenient to shop and bring your purchases to your room and put your feet up for a bit between excursions. If you do need to venture outside the mall, the front desk staff are very helpful to assist with directions or alternative transportation. […] I'd recommend to my friends. The only negative comment I have is that the walls are not very soundproof and it sometimes gets a little noisy but the hotel controls any loud guests quickly so it wasn't a total negative. We stay there for 98th Grey Cup and received and excellent Service. Rooms are VERY clean and I love the Duvet and comfortable bed and pillows...Highly recommended. The Location is wonderful as you don't need to leave anywhere else; Mall, Casino, Water Park, Rides... 5*****

I have enjoy my staying in this hotel. I travel a lot around the world. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable, the room was spacious and quiet. The mall is FANTASTIC.

I have been by and have heard about this hotel for years and will never go back My Wife and I have stayed at lesser costing hotels with cleaner and more up to date rooms the carpet looked like a oil rig worker had walked in it with his boots on also there was urine on the rim of the toilet from previous guest there was no fan in the bathroom and was […] told by front counter there was remote for tv did not work was told tvwhere new which i'm sure they where but the mutli purpose remote where junk the main haul carpets where nasty and the elevators even though when working where fast need servicing as once we got unit to our floor it took repetive hits on floor button to close thedoors and if the unit wanted to move it might I will not stay at west edmonton fantasy hotel again Lisätietoja

The hotel is located in the mall, which is open to walk around 24 hours a day giving easy access to all of the attractions and things to see without having to get back in the car.
