Comfort Inn University District - Spokane

This was my worst experirnce in any hotel. Bathroom shower was not functioning properly, I called front desk several times no response and i had to go down. No hotel should have an emptu fron desk and that should tell you what this hotel is about. It is a rip off

Bed was comfy, but there were stains on the quilt... ick! Road construction on 3rd Ave was not very convenient as far as access to the hotel goes. Overall things were alright. Was actually kinda great to have a free breakfast in a hotel at this price point.

Everything was great except the continental breakfast. There was not a lot of variety. There was no hot food

Pool was stinky. Towels missing. Access to the hotel in dismal condition. No proper signs. Breakfast was good but the location least impressive. Cannot move out for a walk.

Stayef at the hotel at the same time as a huge group. Ive never been to a hotel where so many kids were running around and so many people just hung out in the hallway. Avoid rooms at ends of the hallway. We were in room 201 right next to the stairs. Unfortunately the stairs were concrete and extremely noisy. Customer service was as if not available to those who book online. We called for help and recieved none. Apprently they were too busy with the large group that was there and neglected the others. Big disapointment for me since i only stay at Choice Hotels for all mu travel needs. Talk about feeling descrimitated.

We were exhausted when we pulled in to Spokane and were delighted to see how nice and updated our room was. It was small, but definitely big enough for the two of us. Newer tv, microwave, coffee maker, fridge... the works (no Food Network, though!). The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with a few extra things when we needed […] them. I think there was a school basketball team or something though because the hotel was swarming with LOUD teenage boys, including some who loudly came in to the room above us after midnight and were so loud for so long that I called the front desk, and they took care of the issue eventually... overall, we got a great deal on a good hotel. It is an ok hotel and the room was clean but had a musty smell to it. The window open and that help the problem. The breakfast way good. The price was right. For that price we would stay again

The best word to describe our stay was excellent! Upon checking in the staff was wonderful. The room was clean and in wonderful condition. The staff was kind and helpful with all requests. Breakfast on the 5th floor was very good with a wide selection for every person's needs. We would definitely stay there again

We were greeted with a friendly hello and a smile. The staff was very accommodating during our stay. The breakfast was a full breakfast not just a continental meal. Great overall. What more can you ask when you pay ~50 per night? It has a grt whirlpool, clean rooms. Neighborhood is naaah but we didn't go there for that...

I was skeptical when I drove up and saw the outside of the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised when I went inside. The hotel was clean and nice decor. My room was very comfortable and quiet. I had the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the breakfast area. I would stay here again.

Uncomfortable beds, areas of room very dirty especially carpet and dressers. Hot tub had a large section of dirty film and was very overly chemicaled! Also on a one way street makes it a little tricky to get to the first time. Good price but overall very dissappointed!

Great rates. Easy reservation process through Hotels.com mobile app. Comfortable hotel with great continental breakfast. Not a classy place but nice location close to downtown.

Breakfast area was full and needed more tables but items were kept up well. Hot tub appeared dirty and no towels were available. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly .

This was our second stay at this Comfort Inn. It is located close to downtown, close to the hospitals, and close to Gonzaga. Hotel was clean, breakfast was great, and the pool was very warm (and, surprisingly, 8 feet deep in the deep end). The hotel was very nice for the price. Very clean and actually surprisingly classy inside. The 24hr pool was awesome! And threw breakfast buffet was awesome.

After reading the reviews for this hotel, I was expecting less than what we got. The staff (Tiffany in particular) were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and the free breakfast had a variety of options to please everyone. Although the location isn't in the downtown core, it ensured that traffic wasn't a disruption to sleep (compared […] to a nearby hotel that I had previously stayed at near the highway). The hot tub looked a little murky and had a lot of foam when the jets were on, and could probably use a good cleaning. It was an added bonus to be able to use the pool and hot tub at any time (24hrs). The building is older but seems to be in good condition. I never had any issues with running out of hot water. Great place to stay in Spokane. Starbucks is just a few blocks away from 2nd Dicks burgers and a sit down dinner next door to Dicks. Close to freeway on ramps and off ramps. 3rd is one way but you can just go down to Arthur and change directions . There is only one entrance into the parking lot which helps for security.Caution for families about the […] tv. For some reason no weather channel was available had to watch local news to get weather info. The content on almost every channel was for adults. I ended up watching a movie on my Kindle that wasn't quite as graphic as the programs on the hotel tv. Breakfast has lots of choices. I had apple juice rather than the orange juice as last time I stayed there it tasted terrible she said it was concentrate from a box. The hotel is kept up well. It has an indoor pool and hot tub with a great morning breakfast. The rooms are clean and decent size. It's close to the freeway so there is easy access. Overall it was a good stay and for the price I'd stay again.

The hotel is in good condition, recently renovated, and all that. It's just a really unfortunate location. The Japanese restaurant next door (highly recommended) is just about the only thing around. We thought "close" to Riverfront Park meant we could walk there, but it was at least a mile away, and there really wasn't much of anything to do within […] walking distance of the hotel. Check-in was quick. Room had a strange 'sweaty' odor when I first opened the door, but it quickly dissapated once I settled in. King bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi worked great. Appreciated having a fridge in the room. Bathroom was clean though decor seemed dated. Shower switch appeared to be stuck on 'shower' only but water pressure and temperature […] were satisfactory. Location is convenient--just off the I-90. There's not much in the way of restaurants nearby (a Japanese place next door), but downtown Spokane is only a short drive away.
