While the cleaning staff was curteous, the front dest employee was not. We received a strange phone call during the night, and someone knocked on our door. This hotel was located very close to where we were scheduled to be, but I would not visit again.

internet only worked intermittantly -- totally frustrating for a business trip. Outside of the hotel was filthy. Rooms were quite clean. Pillows were so large both my wife and I got neck aches. Combination of old bed and pillow gave her a back ache.Cleaning staff went into our room and cleaned in spite of do not disturb sign. The room was convenient to where I needed to go. Walked into room, and it smelled as if the toilet had backed up on to carpet. The blanket on the bed had cuts / cigarette burns.

It ain't the Ritz...Good and clean enough to get some sleep and hit the road again in the morning. You get what you pay for.

The hotel was clean. I was frustrated with internet service. I needed it and couldn't get it. For the most part it was a clean bed & bath with a TV. It is reflected in the price.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! Everything was dirty and the "non-smoking" room smelled like smoke. I wouldn't stay in this hotel for free.

i travel a bit in my work and this wasnt the cleanest,or best hotel ive used but staff were friendly,room was clean though some paint wouldnt of hurt it any,and i would stay here again,a little paint and minor maintanance and upgrading could make this a very decent place to rest

Was not a smoking room, The carpet was dirty and smelled dirty, the bed spreads had long knotted threads on the under side and were old and dingy,one top sheet had a big whole cut out of it, as if someone cut out a stain or burn. The iron, which I was depending on to touch up my clothes, before attending my son's graduation at Fort Jackson, had black […] burned on big spot on the iron surface. Not enough parking and the hotel desperately needs to be renovated. On the plus side the staff were friendly and services such as room cleaning were done in a timely manner. The owners of this establishment need to help their employees out by investing some capital into updating/renovating the rooms.

the first room smelled like cigarette smoke and the other selection was not very clean. the room needed vacuuming but the beds were clean. We did not get our complimentary breakfast because the power was out due to a tornado . We would not stay there again.

Our stay was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and oder free. The surroundings were quiet. Access to the interstate was good.

They hotel was dirty!. Its in a bad area right next to where the truckers go to park and sleep,very noisy.its far away from anything! The remote didnt work,the little coffe machine didnt work,the blow dryer,iron and 2 of the outlets didnt work! the internet didnt work there! the people that worked there were rude and didnt care about our satisfaction! […] they didnt have breakfast like they said they would. its just awful! It fit my budget but the quality of the room could have better. It looked clean but it smelled terrible.

The hotel was not conviently located and was hard to get to. The Contiential breakfast was not good and they either did not put things out or did not have a good variety. The customer service was the best thing I can say about this hotel. The area and people that were at the hotel were a little skepitcal.

the hotel looked nothing like the pictures they show, the carpet and furniture was stained, the ceramic in the tube was peeling off, the place was nothing like what was advertised in the pictures

I'll just say we had an issue with our stay and when we addressed it with the manager, we were completely disrespected and yelled at. He called the owner's wife, who also screamed at us to the point where we could not understand her, then she hung up on us. It's safe to say my friend and I were pretty upset at this point. The staff was so unbelievable […] rude and disrespectful. I've never been treated that poorly in my life. I've worked in customer service since the age of 16 and I've dealt with many difficult customers with completely invalid arguments, and I've NEVER even thought to treat them the way I was treated. It's astounding! I made it a point to let the staff know that I would be writing a strongly worded reveiw all over the internet, and that I would be contacting whoever I had to contact to get a refund because that is NOT how you treat your patrons. In addition to the poor customer service, the hotel is in the ghetto and surrounded by a truck stop, the pool is the size of my bathtub, and for the money the room was crap. After the first nights stay, I left in the morning and returned in the afternoon to find that my bed had been stripped and no sheets were placed. The comforter was simply thrown on the floor and I had to go to the front desk and ASK for new sheets. The bathroom was disgusting and there was mold all over the shower. Also, on a minor note, when you sit on the toilet, it almost falls over because it is not secured (this is in room 200, I'm not sure about the others)... In conclusion, my visit was NOT very pleasant. I don't see how that place is still open when they treat customers this way. This hotel is off the main highway in a really bad part of Columbia. The only place that I could see that was safe to get something to eat was McDonalds and even that was iffy. The only view you get is either a neon sign of a church or a run down gas station. The highway is so close that the noise is unavoidable. The staff I encountered all spoke very […] broken English so it was extremely hard to understand anything they said. My daughter wanted to go in the pool, but all it is is a little square hole in the ground surrounded by bushes right near the highway in the middle of the parking lot. My room furniture all had stains on them and I could not access wi-fi even though I was told that I would be able to. Overall, pretty high priced for what it was especially the really bad location.
