Sijainti on kaupungin ulkopuolella, matka keskustaan on ajettava autolla. Muutamia pikaruokapaikkoja ja ketjuravintoloita kävelyetäisyydellä. Lähellä on hyvä kauppa, mutta huoneessa ei ole jääkaappia. Huoneet siistit ja tilavat. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Olimme lomalla, kaupunki entuudestaan tuttu, joten tiesimme sijainnin, ja se on ihanteellinen. Hancock Tower nurkan takana, ja siitä alkaa magnificent Mile. Toiseen suuntaan muutama sata metriä ja pääset aamulenkille pitkin Chicagon upeita rantoja. Hotelli oli ihan siisti, sinänsä varsin hyvässä kunnossa, kokolattiamatot tietysti joka paikassa, kuten tapaan kuuluu, mutta kuuma oli. Huoneessa ei joko ilmastointi toiminut tai oli alitehoinen, siellä oli tukalan kuuma. Lattia antoi hieman periksi paikoin (ilmeisesti levyjen nurkissa), mutta se ei ei haitannut. Toinen haittaava ongelma oli wc-pöntön jatkuva tukkeentuminen, ja hieman kuulostelin, että veden kanssa oli hieman ehkä yleisemminkin ongelmaa. Päivystäjä oli kyllä aina paikalla parissa minuutissa fiksaamassa ongelman. Aamulla sai kahvia, jos haluaa enemmän, saa lähialueen kuppiloista mukavia bageleita. Eli: jos olet visiitillä, ja haluat liikkua ydinkeskustassa, on tämä hyvä vaihtoehto. Luksusta ei, mutta ihan kelpo ja hinta ok. Huoneet isoja, mahtuu useampikin perheenjäsen. Jos vähänkin tuntee paikkoja, niin cta:lla (juna) chicagon asemalle ja bussilla 66 joka lähtee maanalisesta noustua risteyksen vastakkaiselta puolelta rantaa kohti, ja jää pois Michigan avenuen kohdalla) (turisti-info), siitä on kahden korttelin kävelymatka. 2,25 usd.

Kokolattiamatto oli melko likainen. Suihkussa ei ollut käsisuihkua. Erittäin hyvä sijainti.

"America Midwest Hotel-Niles, Il= THE WORST!"
We flew into Chicago and last minute needed a hotel. It was New Years Eve weekend and everything downtown was over priced for what we were looking for. I contacted hotels.com for the nearest hotel; the representative gave me the name of this hotel, and also said "it's a great location, and you really shouldn't have a problem with this hotel as all of […] the review are excellent". So, of course we proceeded with the booking. We get to this hotel, and it is NOT an indoor hotel. It is an out door, more like a motel style building. We got the key to our room and inspected it. It was terrible inside. The bathroom was completely disgusting, it looked like the grout in the shower hadn't been cleaned. The wall paper was peeling off the walls. There was an outlet in the corner that was hanging on by a cord. The mini-fridge in our room smelled like amonia. I couldn't even store my 9 month old daughters bottles in there. The floors hadn't been vacuumed; my husband and I had to go and buy pillows, and a blanket and a bed bug spray repellant to sleep on so we wouldn't be directly on their linens. I slept with the chair in front of the door as I did not feel safe. The next morning, I contacted hotels.com and told them I was LESS than satitsfied with this place and we needed to leave ASAP. The rep I spoke to was great and contacted the hotel to release our 5 day reservation, and credit us back the money. We then went on to a different hotel the next day and stayed the remaining 4 nights. When I went and spoke with the manager, I told him I was completely disgusted and he looked at me with an attitude and asked "what's wrong with this hotel?!" I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, and in fact would recommend this establishment be reported to the BBB. We booked 4 rooms for 8 members of our crew. This hotel was disgusting. Our crew stayed in rooms that had no heat or hot water. The hotel had a bad smell that was prevasive. Our company will never use this hotel again.

Dirty.. paper on floor of bathroom, sheets and blanket very worn, hair found on sheets, bathroom sink not clean. Hair dryer only worked if you held your finger on the ON button. People coming and going all night-someone knocked on my door at 4:30 AM. Walls VERY thin..could hear everything in room next to mine.

Worst hotel experience ever had to change rooms because of dirty linen / no clean ones available - towels wrinkled and thin dead bugs in bed and throughout room. Previously stayed in same motel four years ago under far better conditions. Will never stay again
"A dump."
I'm not a picky person especially if I pay little money for the room, but this place is a dump! There was hairs in my bed, the room stunk of sewer vapors, the general cleanliness of the room was none existant.

The hotel room was poorly maintained. Wallpaper was peeling and exposing mold due to moisture, spiderwebs in the bathroom remained untouched from day to day, the large ceiling panel cover over the florescent light over the sink was missing, the water in the shower ran either piping hot or freezing cold with no adjustment in between, insects crawled […] around in the bathroom. "nice place"
I didn't expect a 5 star hotel room, but for the price I was pleasantly suprised how nice the rooms were. The staff was very friendly, however there was only one desk person so there was a bit of a wait at both check-in and check-out.

ThAt was the worst room I've ever stayed in channels don't work on tv, lots of bugs, and to put the icing on the cake there's visible mold on walls and shower curtains this place needs to be shut down immediately !

First the woman at the service desk blatantly insisted that I had not pre paid for my room. Of course, I had so after hotels.com re faxed the paperwork they without apology proceeded with the check in. When I asked about a crib for my one year old child they said no. When I pointed out that the website states they have cribs on a first come first serve […] basis, they said they had already "locked the back room" it was one in the afternoon. "nasty hotel"
This was a nasty hotel. The rooms were dirty, the hotel staff was unprofessional (upon arrival the hotel clerk was sitting on the guest chairs with his shoes off up on an ottoman. Upon departure I had to wait five minutes to check out so that the clerk could finish his personal phone call). I stayed two nights and the beds were not made and there were […] no clean towels in between days. I had to hunt down a cleaning lady to get towles to take a shower. Her cart was in such disarray that except for the clean smell of the towel I would have thought I was being given a dirty towel. The towels were the old and thin. The worst thing was that the hotel only had 12 TV channels. Two of which were porn. One was hard core porn. Thankfully I did not have children with me because they would not have been able to use the remote themselves withough seeing this. The hotel itself is showing the Americas Best Value Inn Logo and I have contacted them about the nastyness of this hotel. "Okay place for budget Minded"
This place is old, but clean. Watch the hot water in the shower. It can rapidly change. I stayed at another Hotel around Chicago which was much worse. Area is great for groceries, etc. Quick into Northside Chicago.
