Great location and dollar value!

room smelled. Room needed maintenance. coffee was cold. front desk clerk was uninterested with checkout

I booked two rooms.one for my parents and one for myself and a guest. In my parents room my step father had to fix the lamps by the bed because it was broken. There was not even an refrigerator or Microwave in the room. Mine had no desk or chair for my computer but my mother's did. The front door was dented and scuffed with white and black substances. […] The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling off and even the bathroom sink was scratched up and the toilet was stained at the bottom of the toilet. This is a good hotel for a quick stay over. Well the man on staff is a complete knucklehead the woman is pretty good. However this place is nothing special at all but it gets the job done when u need a place to stay. It has a washer and dryer which is a plus. Overall it works.

The stay was fine. There were a couple of things that were wrong which was brought to the front desk attention. The room needed to be just a little cleaner, stuff on the floor next to night stand.Front desk effeciant and took care of business. For the price can't beat it. Will come back.

The hotel was very easy to find, and is in a prime location. Internet would not function in one room, but we were moved to another room immediately and had no more trouble. I prefer buffet service at breakfast. The only bad thing we found is the need to take the car on any visit to Tombstone. The staff at this hotel was WONDERFUL! Clean comfortable rooms, close to the Desert Museum and National Parks. Service was Better than some 5 star hotels I have stayed At.

We have been doing night work and sleep during the day. They had a sign up that they would be installing TV's in the rooms. This would normally not be a problem except that who ever they hired was one of the most unconsiderate contractors ever, yelling up and down the hallways, slamming doors. I am a general contractor and would terminate my contract […] for the things these idiots were doing. I would like to know how come the manager or their staff allowed this to happen. This work can be done quietly and with considerations for the paying guest at the hotel. I am totally disappointed in my stay for Tuesday the 27th of March and would like some answers to the fact that me and my crew did not get the rest we needed that day, All the rest of the days we were there were ok. great hotel and location except for trains and whistles all night long...

The outside and inside of the Red Roof looks new and well kept. Our room didn't have a refrigerator but I had failed to request one. We did have a safe in the room which some people might want. There was an outside pool. No breakfast is served but there is a very nice coffee bar.

Although an older facility, the Red Roof Tucson was clean, quiet and comfortable. Can't ask for more in a place to sleep.

We arrived about midnight. The clerk was chearful and had our reservation handy. She asked if we needed anything. We were tired from the days travel and did not. It was a good welcome. The room itself was fine, beds were made every day, bathroom cleaned (new towels & soap) but carpet was not vacuumed/carpet swept while we were there - Just like home […] (except maybe I use a towel a few time before exchanging). My mom and I were traveling and stayed here. We were very pleased. From the moment we got there the staff treated us very well. Darren was kind and helpful at the front desk. The rooms were bright and cheerful and very comfortable. I felt safe staying here. We stayed 2 nights and had no complaints. Would stay here again.

Good size rooms, very clean, no coffee making facilities in room but fresh coffee available in lobby 24 hours a day, would be an improvement to have an ice machine on each floor. In safe enough area but only Denny's within walking distance.Still great value for money , had 5 nights here, no regrets - Recommended

My husband and I went to Tucson for a weekend getaway. Neither of us had been there so we didn't know what to expect. We got the room for a great price and the experience was overall good. The front desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice. The bed was a little hard. I forgot to pack my blow dryer and was sad when the room didn't […] have one. I did like that the room was equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. I didn't like that housekeeping entered our room even though we placed the do not disturb sign on the door. The walls are pretty thin so we could hear people across the hall and the ones next to us. The hotel is right of the highway so it is easy to find. The only bad thing about the location is that it is far away from everything. There was construction on the freeway so it took us about 30 min to hour to get to some of the sights. Lisätietoja

As other reviews state, this is an older hotel and could use some upgrades. However, considering the cost vs. condition, it is a winner. Though I'm not complaining, it would be great if they would upgrade the mattresses. They aren't the worst I have slept on, but it is time to replace them.

Most everything was average. Room rate was low and acceptable. Then again you get what you pay for. This is not negative---just a a fact. Front dest was attentive and well broomed. Here's a negative----no breakfast and rolls and juice would have been nice. Then again I'm not into a big breakfast. Jonny and Bubba

Very convenient location for North Tucson area. Nothing fancy but a fairly clean room. No fridge, hair dryer, or microwave but if you're just looking for a place to sleep I would recommend it.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and every employee helped and was accomodating. I got very sick and wastaken to the hospital by ambulance. The front desk people were concerend and told my husband that whatever we needed not to hesitate to ask. It was a pleasant stay and I would go back any time. As before, great place at a great price.

TV in room seemed to be limited to ad welcoming occupants, since no other stations were accessible. The MCI telephone & connection would not allow my using the prepaid Verizon phone card (why ? MCI & Verizon are one company....)

My room was spacious, no frills, clean and comfortable. It even had a microwave and small frig! Perfect for a short weekend.

The room was old and worn. The pillows were absolute lumps and the shower must have been dripping for years to make the rust spots in the tub. The toilet leaked water on the floor. There were no shower caps, or conditioner let alone a hair dryer. No kleenex was provided and no coffee or tea maker in the room. Maid service didn't even appear to make […] the bed & smooth the blanket and sheets but just threw the bedspread on top. There were dusty cobwebs on the wall. The young woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The motel is located near I-10 and convenient to shopping centers and restaurants. The room was well maintained and guests are offered 'green' options. Since we just stayed two nights, we chose to just have the towel's replenished and trash can emptied. This hotel was way overpriced for the accomodations. There was no breakfast and the room was crowded. We stayed in several hotels on the trip and they were much nicer and all had breakfasts. We would not stay again.

I would never stay here again. The sheets were dirty, the carpet not clean. The sink was not clean. There was no hair dryer and no kleenex. It was not the best place. The girl at check in was delightful.

Except that this place didn't have a handicap door at the lobby entrance, everything else was exceptional for a handicapped guest. Wish I was there during warmer weather tho to enjoy the pool. The regular room was very comfy. They could have real cream for the coffee, that would make it much better, in my mind.

This is not the lowest priced hotel in the area, but somewhat acts like it. Overwhelmingly smoke-infused and no minimal continental breakfast? Probably not the best value. Try a cheaper hotel if you need to save cash...you will probably get a better experience, too.

The room was attended to, but it was dirty. The housekeepers have very little to work with. The furniture needed to be covered to sit upon. The sheets were dingy and did not appear changed... they were wrinkled and yellowed. The telephone cord might be worthy of calling the health department to inspect... appears to be growing mold or some kind of […] fungus. If I was with anyone else I would have checked out immediately. I would not have my guests stay in a room like this at home or away. I stayed in the South Tucson the night before and it was fantastic. Though a North Tucson would be better. It was not the neighborhood, it was the hotel. Staff is nice. But as I said, they have very little to work with. I have photos. Hate to say anything negative. We had a very pleasant stay at this Red Roof Inn. It was close to the freeway making it fast and easy to get to the places we wanted to go. I read other reviews about the train that is pretty close. I have to admit that the first night I did count trains instead of sheep but that's only because we got in very late and I had trouble falling asleep. We needed a inexpensive motel for one night. The room was nice and clean. Nothing fancy. Sheets, towels, bedspread, nice. Bed too short and not very firm. Bathroom had a leaking faucet running all night into tub. But very clean. If you like to hear train whistles....as the train goes by...it might keep you awake, but...didn't bother us. Promised us […] a fridge, and microwave in room since we made reservaion on Expedia...they couldn't change rooms...The staff apologized and let us use theirs in break room and meeting room. Outstanding for a budget hotel. Although hair dryers not included, you can sign out from front desk. Very accommodating staff. Had a heating problem first day, they switched out unit immediately, but moved us to a new room to avoid inconvenience.
