Loistava sijainti , meillä oli apartment puolelta huone ja small double olikin iso kaksio keittiöineen . Loistava vaihtoehto perinteiselle hotellihuoneelle.

Hyvä sijainti aivan kulman takana Tivoli ja Rautatieasema. Rauhallinen alue. Hotellihuone pieni perushuone. Aamiainen tyypillinen hotelliaamiainen. Hotellilla ei ole Spa, vaikka niin väittää. Vieressä sijaitsee kallis kauneushoitola, josta voi varata kylpyjä ja muita hoitoja.

Loistava sijainti, huone pieni mutta kaikki tarpeellinen tarjolla. Aamiaispöydässä ei vaihtelua tarpeeksi.

A good hotel with an excellent location in the Copenhagen city centre -5 min walk from central railway station. Basic rooms, clean and quite a small, no shampoos etc available. Wireless not working at the far ends of the hotel but nicely in the lobby and the restaurant. Hotellihuoneet pienet. Sijainti erinomainen ja autopaikoituskin onnistua hotelllin vaaramille paikoille viereisen piha-alueen ahtaalle rakennustyömaalle. Raception jatkuvasti jonoja ja hitautta.

Vietimme viikonlopun kahden perheen voimin Kööpenhaminassa, sekä lapset että aikuiset viihtyivät Ascotissa hyvin. Hotelli on kaunis vanha rakennus, mutta erittäin hyväkuntoinen. Kylpyamme huoneessa ilahdutti lapsia erityisesti. Aamiainen on hyvä ja kattava, palvelu on vähäeleistä, mutta ystävällistä ja altista. Tivolin alue on ihan lähellä, mutta hotelli […] on hiljaisen kadun varressa. Spa-osastoa emme ehtineet kokeilemaan, sillä tarjonta on aikuisille suunnattua hierontaa ja hoitoja, ei lasten vesileikkejä. Hotelli on kätevä esim. viikonlopun shoppailumatkaa ajatellen, sillä Strogetille on lyhyt kävelymatka. Lisätietoja

Hotellissa on ns. normaali hotelli puoli ja huoneistohotelli puoli. Jouduimme tähän jälkimmäiseen ja huone oli yksi kamalimmista jossa olimme koskaan olleet. Ikkuna oli suoraan sisäpihan roskapöntöille ja sänkyn kangaspeite lähes repeämispisteessä. Yleisilmeeltään huone näytti selviämispisteeltä. Onneksi tajusimme reklamoida tästä hotellin vastaanotossa […] seuraavana aamuna ja pääsimme ns. hotellin puolelle asumaan. Siellä huone oli sellainen kuten odotimme sen olevan. Loppuloma sujui mukavasti. Summa summarum - olkaa tarkkoja kun varaatte tästä hotellista huoneen että ette vain joudu huoneistohotellin puolelle. Tässä tapauksessa joudutte pettymään ja pahasti. The hotel is well located and due to this is ideal to single people or young couples wanting to explore the city. For families the place is awful. The place says that its family friendly, and I guess some of the personnel are, but the rooms are not for sure. They are small, old and only thing they really have is a bed. Hotel has an ideal location in the city but still not facing the busiest streets. Breakfast was a standard+. At check-in desk the service was.. varied. At first the receptionist showed not a bit interest towards me. But when the person changed, everything went smoothly. The biggest disappoint was the room itself. Sijainniltaan erinomainen Ascot-hotelli oli palvelultaan asiallinen. Aamupala oli erinomainen, mutta sänky hyvin pehmeä ja joka aamu klo 7 sisäpihalta kantautui kauhea räminä rullakoiden työntelystä.

Muuten hotelli vastasi odotuksia, mutta helteellä huoneen lämpötila oli n. +30 C. Ei ollut muuta mhdollisuutta kuin nukkua ikkunat auki, jotka olivat suoraan naapurin parvekkeella. Eli ei minkäänlaista koneellista ilmanvaihtoa tms.

Street noice was very disturbing, check where you room will be. Again pictures in the web page can be something else that you see when you open the door to room. Did not want to use the smokey bar, since nowadays I rather go to an unsmoking place. After my experience 2-3 stars are enough. Good location. Breakfast was good.

Everything fine but the car entrance to the parking yard was very narrow and while watching the side mirrors I didn´t see the stairs that was on the left side, I hit it and my tire exploded. No sign of WARNING.

Copenhagen is an expensive city, so at a moderate price which the hotel offers, i did not expect much - but even for an european standard, this hotel is not 3 stars, I'm sorry. Only drawback to the entire trip to Copenhagen was this hotel - lack of service and comfort - during the entire stay, I had wished that I had gone for high end hotel (spend more […] money) or the simple hostel. No towels in the bathroom and used glass with toothpaste in. .. Was told to wait 20 minutes if I needed irons ... Cold room, no heat in the bathroom floor. A single non-adjustable radiator to heat the room.

This place is perfect for a city trip. The rooms are ok and clean, but do not have the 4 star standard as we know from germany. If you want to spend time in a hotel, I would not book this one. If you just want to have a place to sleep and have a shower, I would recommend it. From there you can walk all over the place. The most easy way to discover to […] the city is to take one of the "free rent a bikes". You will find them in the city. The hotel also rents bikes, but you have to pay for it. The Ascott hotel is located near the central train station in Copenhagen, close to shopping and the University of Copenhagen. I thought my room (a Double) was pretty large and clean. The bed mattresses however were fairly worn, and sunk in enough to be slightly uncomfortable.

Great location! Short 200m walk from Central Station, just beside Vesterport metro station, in a quiet street. Try the Italian restaurant on the corner next to the Ascot - Il Peccato. Wood-burning pizza oven and excellent Italian cuisine!

Its very well situated, clean rooms and alright sized rooms. If you're looking for a luxury or SPA weekend then this is not the place. Except for at check in/out the staff only greeted us once in 5 days, so they're either very busy or just full of themselves. Also the room have what you need, but are nothing you'll be impressed about. It was perfect […] for our plan to visit friends and do some sightseeing in the area, as the hotel is perfectly situated and is clean, where many other city hotels often fail. We stayed in a lovely little room. Just perfect and central. The staff was very helpful and polite. Would definitely return.

Arriving in the evening to an ice cold room. Heating was off and had to go to bed with clothes on for a while. The windows in the room are extremely old fashion and one part has only a single glass. Understand why the cold weather outside is penetrating into the room. In the middle of the night (04.30 or so) I was waken up due to a lot of noice from […] the street. Think it was garbage or cleaning containers moved out from hotel. Then there was some building activities on the oposite side of the street starting before 06.00, so impossible to sleep. Wasn't in the main building and this was more like a hostel with thin walls so you could hear conversations from other rooms and very noisy outside with lots of kitchen and related activity ongoing through the night. Was overpriced too.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant (probably just as well given the high cost and mediocre quality of the breakfasts), but actively promotes a number of neighbouring restaurants. We ate at one of these, Il Peccato, and two of the group suffered from food poisoning. The timing, and who had eaten what at that and other meals meant that it could […] be isolated beyond all reasonable doubt to that restaurant. The restaurant's response was simply to deny (very rudely) that it could be their fault, while the hotel's response was to point out that they have no responsibility for the restaurant (although there is a menu in every hotel room) and to tell us to 'have a nice day'. This is a very nice centrally located hotel with friendly and efficient staff, however, the walls in our room were very thin so we were very aware of all movement along the corridor and adjoining rooms which seriously disturbed our sleep. Not recommended for light sleepers.

The hotel was older and clean. The lift was small and quite a tight fit but easy to go up and down the stairs (only 4 floors). The front desk staff were nice enough but there was no one to assist with luggage. You have to carry your bags downstairs yourself and stow your bags in a big room (not very convenient or secure considering people were in and […] out of the room without supervision). The room itself was quite small and the heaters were under the windows so when you shut the curtains the heat was blocked (I was chilled). Other small things like not having a rubbish bin in the room (there was a very small one in the bathroom) was an annoyance. Overall it was just okay and would be okay for a short stay if you were spending the majority of your time out of your room. Our room (103) was hot and noisy. The ventilation was very poor and you could hear absolutely every conversation from people passing our room in the hallway. The noise from the outside was also disturbing especially at night. The fitness room in the basement was ok but the equipment was either broken or low budget (treadmill). You can easily be fooled into believe that this hotel has something to do with Spa, but NOT, only a simple store where you can book a facial. The room smelled really badly and cleaning must have been done by a sleeping zombie. Location wise this was the only thing that lived up to the hotels 4 stars.

The hotel location and overall service were great, but the room was so uncomfortable I would never choose to go back. The room was small, had a twin bed, and the layout was such that I could not even stretch out my arms without the fear of knocking something over. The room was EXTREMELY cold (this was in October). I was not able to control the heat […] setting and had to ask for an additional down comforter for the bed. The room was so uncomfortably cold that as soon as I got back to it I would have to get under the covers and stay there to stay warm. Also, the shower water leaked into the rug of the bedroom area due to the room design (and perhaps a faulty sealant... but still). There was also a lot of hallway noise that came into my room. This room was definitely not worth what I paid for. A colleague of mine was assigned a room right next to mine... she took one step in (to her room, which was similar) and went straight to the front desk and said it was unacceptable. They put her in a room 3x the size with a king bed for no extra cost... I probably should have done the same, but had already unpacked and didn't think it was worth it at the time... but after a week in this room, I was regretting the decision to stay!! Lisätietoja

The hotel is close to the train station (~5' walk) and you can also walk easily to the places like Nyhavn (~20'' walk) etc. My room was ok and claen but the bathroom was very smelly (it seems they have a problem with their sewer system). I assume the more costly rooms are in a better condition.

When I arrived at the Ascot, I was given a terrible room--very small and depressing. I called the front desk and asked to be moved and was given a lovely, large, and very comfortable room. I guess they'll give you what you settle for. Basic room was cold and no anything like in the pictures on this site. Renowated maybe in the 90's. Room was also noisy in the night and the towels and the sheets should have been thrown away long ago. Atleast our room was nowhere near the scandinavian standards. Can recommendate this to anyone as it was also pretty expensive.

This is an old hotel that has been refurbished but remains old and dusty. You are being asked to queue at reception to collect a breakfast voucher instead of just giving your room number at the entrance (why?) and mostly the hotel is advertised like a "Hotel & Spa", this is a lie. There is no Spa, they have never been and they will never be. There is […] a Spa in the same street that has NO agreement with the hotel and for which you will be charged as any other customer. It is therefore cunning and deceiving to call it a Hotel with Spa because it is not the truth. For this reason, and also the fact that the hotel is old and dusty, the beds are rather small and the rooms stuck in the 70's, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Lisätietoja
