"Clean and Efficient"
Overall, this Hampton Inn was clean and efficient. The rates were great, our stay was quiet, and we were close to everything. The room was a little small, but we were only staying for a couple of nights and the price was right. I stayed here overnight for a exam I had to take at a testing site at Del State the next morning. When I walked in, the lobby was clean, I was checked in immediately, they made my key waiting for me. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located behind another hotel and not directly on Dupont Ave. The noise was not a factor. The staff was great and very resourceful. "People Friendly/Super Clean"
My children and I travel a few times a year and have been in some fabulous hotels and some not-so-nice motels, and I have to say this place was awesome. Everything was clean, including the corridor where pool traffic entered the building. There were fresh baked cookies, a coffee/tea station, a very clean outdoor pool, etc. The bathroom in the room was […] spotless and well stocked. The room smelled fresh, but not overly "cleaned", which is annoying. The beds were freshly made with immaculate linens and the duvet was more comfy and soft than the one on my own bed at home. Staff were always polite and very knowledgeable of the area when we asked about nice restaurants in the area. And for a complimentary breakfast, I couldn't complain about the variety of both hot and cold foods.
