Just stayed for 24 hours, but found everyone that my cousin and I came in contact with to be friendly, helpful, and interested in making our stay as pleasant as possible. I cannot think of the last time I have said this about a hotel stay. I would highly recommend this hotel when needing close lodging to the Philly airport.

have noticed that cutlery,crockery glasses etc. are now plastic that is the ones in the room bad mark embassy

My family and I were very satisfied with our hotel stay at the Embassy Suites. We were very pleased with the breakfast and the friendliness of the breakfast crew. The front desk personnel was also very friendly. We are looking forward to another visit in the near future.

Great stay the breakfast that is included is AMAZING!!! Took my son to the pool an it was packed with young children very few adults around so I was disappointed in that but everything else was great would definetly gO back

We stayed at this hotel before going on our honeymoon. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot and get a shuttle to the airport. The hotel staff and the shutttle driver were absolutely fantastic. We could not ask for a better experience. We had the same shuttle driver on our return back to the hotel in which we stayed at the hotel again when […] we got back. The breakfast is one of the best I had in a long time. We only stayed one night, the hotel was great. My kids were wishing we had stayed longer. We showed earlier than check-in time and hotel was able to accommodate us without a problem. Our room was large enough for our family of four (two adults and 2 children ages 11 & 14) to spread out and be comfortable. Room was CLEAN, comfortable, and very quiet. […] We were exhausted from our 4 hour trip to the hotel and took a mid-day nap - the room darkening curtains and separate sleeping areas proved invaluable. Hotel had a lot of great perks! My youngest son and husband enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi throughout our stay. My husband and I enjoyed the free Manager's cocktail reception from 5-7pm, then the entire family enjoyed the free made-to-order breakfast the next morning from 6:30 - 10:30. My kids loved the pancakes and made-to-order omelets, juices, cereal, pastries. They ate like kings! Center of hotel is wide open with a small pond, including live ducks! Restaurant was great, some of the entrees were pricey, but delicious (price was recouped and then some by free breakfast next day). Hotel is well maintained, I watched as as the 'pool guy' tested the water in the pool and jacuzzi, he made several trips to the shed to retrieve chemicals and adjust the jacuzzi. He waited ample time and retested the water again until he was satisfied. Pool/Cabana boy was on hand with fresh towels and quickly removed any used towels from the pool area only to return with fresh ones from the Laundry. When we arrived we wanted some extra blankets and the hotel quickly responded with extra blankets and pillows. We only waited 10-15 minutes tops. Overall, we had such a pleasant stay. All in all we had a good stay. Unfortunately we had to come into town for a funeral. So it was not a happy trip. We were very satisfied with the rooms, until we found cockroaches (1 in each room the night before and the morning we left). Had to find a place close to Rt 95 and this was easy on, easy off. Purpose was to get together with family members from Upper Darby while on our way south. The lobby has several areas to sit and relax, so we had a nice time doing that, and the children were enthralled with the ducks in a pond in the lobby area. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful […] in all aspects. Very nice that you get a cooked breakfast included in the very reasonable rate. Unique touches included chilled water with lemon and lime slices in lobby area. Good equipment in the workout room helped work off holidays snack. Great bargain! Lisätietoja

we spent the night before we flew to the Dominican and parked at the suites. The staff was fabulous. When they picked us up at the airport in the courtesty shuttle they had drinks and snacks! This hotel goes 'above and beyond'!

Perfect choice (comfort, price, access) for traveling from Phila airport. The shuttle driver on our return went out of his way, offering to drive us to our vehicle, which we declined only to find out our car battery had died. No problem there as we received a jump from the same driver right afterwards. We did have to wait longer than usual for the shuttle […] to pick us up, having called the shuttle phone initially. We later called the hotel directly and was picked up while we were still on the phone. We stayed one night only and had a small meal at the bar. The food was fine, but we received only two wontons for a $10 charge. When we commented on this to the bar maid, she remarked that she guessed she should have told us it came with "only" two. The drink prices were what you'd expect, but that appetizer price was ridiculous. Great staff right down to the shuttle driver Easy stop to airport

This was our second stay with Embassy. We were in town to attend a concert. The room was comfortable and relatively clean. The only concern was the LOUD party going on next door to our room. It went on all night, and I believe the police were called to break up the fracas. I understand the hotel has few opportunities to prevent this from happening. […] Once the party gets out of hand, it affects the quality of the other guests' stay. It sounded like a sex party gone quite wrong. Loud profanity, and screaming women at all hours of the night. Kind of low-class for an upper class establishment. Lisätietoja

The staff of the hotel were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. My only negative issue is that the hotel smells bad. There is a duck pond in the lobby, which doesn't appear to be kept clean. Walking around the hotel, especially when you go to the upper floors, it smells like urine. I enjoy my stay at the embassy . I will stay at this hotel over and over again.

The hotel is conveniently located but we encountered a few problems. Firstly I was told that the shuttle bus ran every 30 mins, 24/7 but was kept waiting. It took three calls to the hotel to get the transport some 50 mins after first starting to wait at the hotel. The room was fine but the smelt of stale smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. We had a pleasant stay here, marred only by the incredibly slow service at the restaurant. We ordered a sandwich and a salad, telling the waiter we had to leave in 40 minutes. Well, 40 minutes later, after being told 2 times that they were "almost finished," I looked at the kitchen through the opening and saw that they hadn't even started our order. […] We had to go, still hungry. I will stay again

We stayed 8 days. The staff was super! They knew us by the second day. Always went beyond the expected. The pool was a great temperature for kids and there were easy steps into the pool for older people. Great surprise in the lobby! Two ducks have perminent homes. We hated to leave! Took about half hour to and hour to get downtown or back. Not too many […] resturants with in walking distance, food at hote good but typical hotel prices. Very satisfied with our stay as usual. Check in was very prompt and room was comfortable; however, the rug in our room was stained in numerous places which was disappointing.

Older hotel in good condition with remodeled bathroom. Had a few things in the room that didn't work but they were responsive in fixing them, except the A/C unit. Breakfast was very good, only problem was them cutting it off at 9:30am, a little early for me. And some days they cut it off even earlier. Open later on weekends. Well is a great place the problem when I check in they didn't have a room for me and I book my room a week before at the end they got me a room with a big conference room table I didn't pay for that it was really uncomfortable I'm not a traveler I live in philly I just look for peace and quiet other wise food is good they need new bedding sets they […] kind of yellow..... Typical Courtyard goodness, but the staff was exceptional. Everyone was kind and going out of their way to be helpful

We used the Embassy for an overnight stay prior to an early plane flight. Hotel has beautiful indoor stream and landscaping. Very calming. The room was nice, the only drawback being the down bedding. A few non-down pillows would be a good addition. We did not use the dining services, but only due to lack of time. The atmosphere was really nice! Excellent hotel! Very convenient to airport and to downtown Philadelphia. The manager's reception and free hot breakfast were both great!

dont go there if they are having a convention. I suggest you call before making reservations. They were completely overwhelmed. We could not get breakfast (it was part of what we paid for) Also could not get into managers reception. We had to often wait for an elevator because thet were so crowded we could not fit!!

Very kid friendly and that is very important to me and my family because we have 3 boys...and they had a ball and I felt comfortable sending them to the pool and to explore (as they love to do :-) ) alone.

Location so-so, but near airport and frequent vans. The service from the manager was superior - he drove me to a pharmacy to pick up an over-the-counter med. Having the breakfast start at 6 am was great, as we had an early flight and still had time to eat and catch the 6:30 van.

Great hotel, close to everything there is to do in Philly. Great breakfast. However, internet useage is not free. Also, make sure you get a room that faces the center courtyard, not all of them do as stated in description.

Don't expect anything other than modest accomodations very close to Philly airport at this Embassy Suites. One thing I never thought to ask before booking a hotel room was whether any large groups were staying at the same hotel. This is something I will ALWAYS ask from now on. A group of 190 distant relatives were staging a family reunion at the hotel […] when we checked in. This resulted in the pool area being completely overtaken, loud children (and adults) roaming and running through the halls at all hours, and the constant slamming of doors. In hindsight, I would have been more refreshed having slept at home and awoken early to drive the 1.5 hours to the Philly airport for the early departure rather than spend the night close to the airport. Having stayed at multiple different Embassy Suites our stay did not meet the standards we had come to know. We were given a Meeting room with a bedroom upon check in that was not comfortable. We travel to Philadelphia multiple times a year and this hotel will not be on our top five for our next trips.
