Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The suite was one of the best rooms we've been to. Very big, with a kitchen, sofa, desk, good bed with prober linen, nice bathroom and lots of space. The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

I was impressed by the room (with two large flat screen TV's) and the quality of service. Everybody was really friendly. However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

"Smoking, security, and trains"
This hotel was recently converted to a Comfort Inn, and the no-smoking policy must be a new one. The sign at the front desk says there'll be a $100 charge if you smoke in the room. We checked-in to room 301, and the smell of smoke was obvious. I called the front desk to voice my concern about being charged for smoking in the room, when we are non-smokers. […] It was noted. But, that initial stink was there every time we came back into the room. The end-of-the-hall exit doors to the outside parking lot require a card key to enter the building, but the door on our end of the building was broken. This door is right by the pool, where we saw plenty of kids swimming. Hate to see anything happen to anyone because the door allowed access to non-patrons. There's a train track immediately behind the building's parking lot. With the windows cracked open for the stink of smoke, you can clearly hear the trains go by. Although the rooms were small, they contained everything we needed, including a bar fridge, and microwave. Beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast which was included was great. Third floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Staff never checked pool area where several young children were unattended in the pool and out of control which made it impossible for my children to swim in the pool.

My husband and I stayed with our five-year-old grandson for his first roadtrip sans parents with his grandparents. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. We enjoyed the shuttle service to the Henry Ford Museum. Our visit was so much fun--the museum and Rouge factory tour had so many interesting things for adults and five-year-olds […] to enjoy. "breakfast could be better"
very nice, clean hotel. The only shortfall was the breakfast. Something was always missing, orange juice, bread, jam. This was a shame, as the hotel was otherwise quite nice.

We chose this place for a couple of reasons: location to The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village, price, pool, breakfast included. It was very nice. The staff was very friendly. the only complaint is that the pool was too cold for my kids to swim in. the staff put us together in adjoining rooms which almost never happens anymore so that was a nice plus.

The location is convienant for everything but food. The restaurants are close but their is no parking. We had to settle on fast food both nights because of this. The room was clean but that was about the only good I can say. The pool was cold and we were told that is how it always is. The indoor pool was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel. The children ended up not being able to swim. When I tried to use the TV remote the battery was dead. I called the front desk and after telling them the remote was […] not working, I was informed the batteries were probably dead and the hotel did not have any new ones. We had an unexpected death in the family and had to find another location (other than my daughters home) to congregate and have our Christmas celebration as we only had one weekend that we could all be together, due to varying work schedules, and still the funeral. Great value. Excellent breakfast, nice exercise room. The rooms are recently refurbished with nice flat screens, the bed was comfortable, the internet excellent. An all around good experience.

This place is the best part of Dearborn. Close to Fairlane mall and Dearborn University . It is 5 minutes from Ford Company . Best if you are business trips to Detroit . Very convenient location. Very cheap and clean . Will recommend if you need to stay closer to Detroit and not feel unsafe.

Attention: The lobby can be very noisy during the week-end and consequently the rooms next to it are not quiet ! Ask for a room in the floors. The pastries of the breackfast are not terrific but the rest is fine. The fitness room is fine.

The rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator is a plus. The staff extremely courteous. Plenty of breakfast food and good coffee. Location is safe and has easy access by car to Detroit. I would definately stay here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is second-to-none in proximity to Greenfield Village and The Henry Ford museum and they provide free shuttle service within 5 miles. The staff service was exemplary. They were in the middle of remodeling, but it did not disturb or inconvenience us. Decent place, decent location. Clean rooms. Breakfast is a madhouse, get there early. Sausage patties and eggs, bagels, cereal, etc. I would stay there again.

This hotel is under construction and it is comical to see the "Three stoogers" construction crew. The rooms are in bad condition. Our ceiling drywall was coming down. Seems like there are many indians but few chiefs there. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice but there did not seem like good management was in place. Interesting folks that are not […] staying at the hotel arrive in the morning for the free breakfast so it gets a bit crowded in the dining area. It is in an area that is close to many attractions.
