Muut ovat moittineet huoneen pienuutta, meidän oli aivan riittävä (501). Suihkukaappi on tosiaan pieni ja siellä haisi vähän home. Ainut puute hotellissa on, että netti on maksullinen ja WIFI (myös maksullinen) toimii vain aulassa. Viiniä hotellista ei saa. Ei minibaarista eikä aulabaarista. Ratikalla 2 ja 14 pääsee kätevästi Duomolle. Osta päivälippu tai kahden päivän lippu Duomon metroasemalta. On halpa. Hintaansa ja sijaintiinsa nähden tosi hyvä ! Tammikuun lopussa MIlanossa oli alennusmyynnit 40% - 70 %

Jos olet parimetrinen tai erittäin herkkäuninen, älä valitse tätä hotellia eikä kannata edes lukea eteenpäin. Sängyt ovat n. 185cm ja itsellänikin (191) oli jalkaterät välillä ulkona, mutta se ei haitannut. Huodeiden ovet ovat äänieristeenä paperia, joten naapurihuoneen telkkarikin saattaa kuulua läpi iltaisin. Siihen loppuvat huonot puolet. Hotelli on erittäin hyvällä paikalla yhden ostoskadun vieressä ja metroon (joka on tähän mennessä paras jossa olen käynyt, ml New York, Soul, Nagoya, Lontoo, Pariisi..) on 50m ovelta. Palvelu on erittäin ystävällistä ja aamiainen on parempi kuin luulisi äkkiseltään. Kun ohittaa ne äklömakeat pullat ja keksit, sieltä löytää kananmunia, muroja, jogurttia eli aika perusjuttuja. Lisäksi jos on saatavilla sellaista vaniljasuklaapiirakkaa niin suosittelen lämpimästi. All in all, hotelli on hintaansa nähden oikein hyvä, jjopa hintaa katsomatta ihan ok.

Huone oli vastikään kunnostettu ja tilava kun siinä erillinen meikkaushuone. Poikkeuksellisesti yhteinen erillinen eteinen toisen huoneen kanssa mutta huone löytyi kuitenkin hyvin. Aamainen varsin suppea eikä kuulunut hintaan, kun hankkii ilmaisen Melia-kortin saa puoleen hintaan - aamiainen ainoa selvä miinus. Internetkoodit olivat erillisellä lapulla joka katosi huoneesta siivouksen yhteydessä. Viikonloppuna henkilökuntaa vähänlaisesti mutta kun tuolloin hotelli lähes tyhjä ei joutunut lainkaan odottamaan. Näköala sisäpihalle vähän ankea mutta ok. Ympäristö tavallista esikaupunkialuetta ja metroasema n. 100 m päässä mikä varsin kätevä tapa liikkua kaupungissa.

Mukavasti lähellä lentokenttää Porta Romana -osassa kaupunkia Milano sijaitseva Starhotels Business Palace on lähellä kohteita Milanon yliopisto, Milanon kaupungintalo ja Milanon katedraali. Lähistöllä ovat myös Giuseppe Verdin konservatorio ja Parco delle Basiliche.

The descreption of the situation of the hotel is missleading. It is not close to the center or dome of MIlan. The hotel breakfast was skimpy, old fruits and nothing freash, full of packed goods. The rooms were oldfashioned but clean. Needs to be renovatred. And the gym was made in a small, old quest room, not inviting.

"Reasonable hotel for short stays"
The hotel is for people who planned to visit Milan for vacation or business and who is not planning to spend time in hotel. Localtion is fine, 5km far from centre. The problem was that the room devices , equipment was too old some of them were not working. (i.e. toilet flush!). But considering the daily low price, it is still good value hotel.

Staff very helpful and pleasant Location 25 min from center of Milan by metro, short walk from metro stop to hotel, less than 1/2 block. Breakfast great, well worth a return visit. Rented the place w three other adults, and got a very comfortable two-bedroom room. Close to the metro but costs €20 (from city center) with taxi at night when metro is closed. Breakfast was superb compared to the other "free" hotel breakfasts I've had. we were a little concerned when we pulled up but that went away as soon as we entered the lobby. "Very helpful and friendly"
This hotel had a good location near a metro for easy access to sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was delicious. However, the very best was the concern and care taken of us by the staff when one of our party had her purse stolen with everything in it, cash, car keys, ID, credit cards, etc. The hotel staff was very helpful and considerate.
This my type of hotel to stay in. Reasonable price, surprisingly huge 2-bedrooms, very clean and well maintained, and nice view of the skyline. Walking distance from dowtown.

Found the hotel good value for four star hotel. Breakfast good quality. Family room suited 4 and very clean and large. Metro bring you everywhere in ten minutes and dirt cheap. Good as base but not much around hotel but that is ok for a sight seeing city break.

Room was clean and comfortable, though small. It had a desk to get work done and a small fitness center which met my needs (neighboring area not a great place to run). "Easy To Find From Motorways"
This hotel is fine and the staff are very helpfull. I would stay here again. Very close to Subway and in the middle of Milan in a few stops for 1 Euro. Breakfast was very good.

"bad hotel, bad location"
The staff were good and friendly. Other than that eveythiing was terrible. They put us in a ground floor room, even when I had requested a top floor roo. I could not even open the window as eveyone walking down the lobby would look into our room. Breakfast was terrible. The bread was even stale. It's a pain to get to if you're driving thanks to Milan's one-way street system. But if like me you were here just for a place to sleep then you could not do better. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel clean. Room clean, comfortable, quiet, toiletries, hairdryer provided. TV in Italian but who cares. Room service super efficient. Our room was very comfortable and quiet as a tomb. Breakfast was several cuts above the usual included-in-the-price fare. There isn't much going on in the surrounding neighborhood but the subway delivers you to the city center within 10 minutes. the hotel was good overall. to find it you need to take the yellow line metro line and get off porto de mare exit. the hotel is right there. food..all I have to say is you need to do the apperitivo. you show up and pay about 8 euros and get a beer to go with it and they will give you access to a buffet. the slice cafe on naviglio district (sforza street) […] is the best. you cant go to milan and no show up at this cafe. "Good for business if working outside city centre"
The hotel is far from the city centre and the area around is ok but would not reccomend if you are going to Milan for pleasure. I stayed here for business and it was ok since it is easier to park and leave the city.

"Great room, decent location"
This hotel was much nicer than expected given the price. Breakfast buffet was awesome. While not within talking distance of the city center, you're extremely close to a subway stop. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy, so invest in the for-fee parking. I paid 18 euro a night.

Perfectly comfy business hotel that we used as a base for our trip to Milan. Price was very reasonable and the facilities were good. One thing to note is that they wouldn't provide an iron and ironing board. We asked for one and got a woman instead! Not cheap if you need to iron shirts for a stay. Also, the map on hotels.com shows the nearest Metro […] station as being "Corvetto", in actual fact "Porto di Mare" is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel but this station seems to be missing from the map. "Excellent value for money hotel"
Great four staf hotel for money. Huge bed and large bedroom. Very clean and comfortable in a quiet area (August) Lovely italian restaurant round the corner La Plancia. Hotel staff all spoke good english. Would definiately come again to this hotel.
"Excellent budget hotel"
The staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel is little away from the main city but this was not a problem for us as the metro was only few hundred meters from the hotel. The journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to Dumo or Central Station.

Well I just got back from Milan I stayed for 4days and got great deal on hotels.com hotel was great quick check in & check out understood English very helpful at reception rooms had old fashioned keys not cards big hotel 1min walk from metro station which is on the yellow line and 15mins direct from Milan centrale breakfast was huge buffet croissants […] various flavours sausage eggs bacon fruit juices (watered down) teas coffees fruit water toast biscuits yogurts jams loads of variety which was nice the bed I had was massive I'm sure 4people could comfortably sleep! Loved the bed (and I paid for a single room! Bonus really) shower was clean and lovely in the morning gym was small as usual but very nice and had everything you need the area was a bit of a dive however Internet access is provided in one of the shops on the road and is 2€ for 1hr much better than 20€ for an hour which the hotel wanted to charge I used my iPhone to connect to the wap and there's a special discount of €8 for 24hrs on hand held devices which I paid for hotel has phone plenty of places to sit a nice garden parking friendly staff I loved it and Being on my own I still felt Safe the tv had 1english channel and no ppv options ironing is only avalible on charge! Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable with a very helpful and friendly staff. Metro station at the corner,and five minutes walk from hotel. Metro trip to central milan is only twelve minutes. Two days round trip metro ticket is only five and half Euro. Breakfast is basics. dead guiet sorrounding area at night.

When we first checked in, we were given an upgrade on the room. That seemed nice at first, especially since the room was spacious, however, the air conditioning was not working. Also the refrigerator was not cooling. We told the front desk lobby and they sent someone down to investigate. He said he'd get back to us. After about 20 minutes, I called […] the front desk and told them we needed another room. I checked out the other room personally which had the AC working but there was an extra bed in the room. After asking to have it removed, I was told it was reserved for someone else. We finally got into a room with a working AC and fridge on the third attempt. After that everything was smooth, and the lobby staff, as well as bar/restaurant staff provided excellent service. Construction going on next to the hotel. No good supermarket nearby for buying general stuff (forgot some toiletries I had to buy). Little bit outside of central Milan, but easily accessible as the metro stop is right next to the hotel. "Great hotel for the money,"
The only disadvantage of the Business Palace is that you have to take the Metro to get to the heart of Milan.. however for the money we were thrilled with the hotel and didn't find it inconvenient to have to take the Metro. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff very helpful about giving directions, mailing things for you, etc.
"Great location great facilities inconsistent service"
We stayed for three nights last week May 2009. Room, upgraded to superior double was lovely, not huge but clean and comfortable. Locaton seven stops on Metro to Duomo, and Parc de Mer station, which was 20 metres from the hotel. Cheap, regular and easy to use as well. A few inconsistencies with service however - first morning a large group of teenagers […] staying. Had to stand waiting for ten minutes for a table at breakfast where they had taken over, although the hotel had tried to seat them in a seperate room. Eventually we were given a table in amongst them. The last night we stayed in the hotel to eat, knowing it was more expensive. The service was really poor, the waiter took the wrong food to three tables and for a four star hotel the food didn''t match up at all - bland and dry - my veal cutlet was dry as cardboard and cost 23euros! So, a tip - stay in the hotel, good value for money but eat elsewhere. The seond and third morning service was back to normal for breakfast and there was an excelllent choice and plenty of it. "Great Room"
This was a great room especially since we drove to Milan. It was out of the city center but had easy access to the metro. The room and bed were very comfortable by European standards. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

El hotel es magnífico y la atención del personal es bastante buena. No está en el centro de la ciudad, pero está muy bien comunicado, pues a un par de minutos (no más) está una boca de metro (Porto di Mare) que en siete parada te deja en la plaza misma del Duomo. Die Gegend ums Hotel kann leider nichts bieten, für Restaurants oder Bars unbedingt ins Zentrum fahren. Es gibt aber eine gute Verbindung mit der U-Bahn. Die Einrichtung ist für ein 4* Hotel teilweise ziemlich abgenutzt. Unser Familienzimmer war aber recht groß und sauber und auch das Hotelservice war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lækkert hotel med fine værelser og god morgenmad. Området omkring hotellet er lidt trist. Det er dog rart, at der er en metro-station meget tæt på, så man kan komme ind til centrum på kun 20-25 minutter.
