The Sol Milanos Pingüinos is the only hotel located right on Son Bou beach, the longest beach in Menorca, some 2.5 km. in length. It is the ideal place for young families as the beach slopes gently into the sea. Son Bou is an Area of Natural Interest (ANEI) with the largest wetland on the island (located in the interior) after Albufera des Grau and it has an important area of dunes, as well as rich flora and fauna.
It is located 7 km from Alayor, 20 km from Mahón and 20 km from the airport.

The Sol Milanos Pinguinos hotel provide Hot and cold buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner with show cooking and Italian corner and different theme nights: Asian, Mexican, Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. Little guests will find Betty's Kitchen themed buffet restaurant (in high season) and a Brontoburger cafeteria. Avalaible also a Self-service snack bar with spacious terraces next to the swimming pool with a wide choice of snacks and drinks.

With almost three kilometres of fine golden-white sand, this wonderful south-coast beach is the longest on the island. Separated from the resort by dunes and reed beds, Son Bou is rarely crowded and offers a choice of water sports. Aside from two large beachside hotels the rest of this man-made resort is low-rise and low key.

El Hotel esta bien situado, limpio y con un servicio de restauración estupendo, pero la perfección no existe y hay algo sobre lo que creo se puede meorar y es la atención al cliente en sus reclamaciones. A nuestra llegada se nos asigno una habitación en el edificio tematico de los picapiedra, en la primera planta y con vistas a la entrada. Nada más […] ver la habitación pedimos un cambio a otra más alta, donde el ruido del ir y venir de un edificio a otro no se oyese tanto y donde las vistas fueran mejores. Tras tomarnos nota y asegurarnos que nuestra reclamación sería atentida lo antes posible, nos marchamos el domingo desde la misma habitación a la que llegamos. Con el movimiento diario de salidas creo sinceramente que se podria haber satisfecho la solicitud máxime teniendo en cuenta que la reserva llevaba hecha con mucha antelación. Lisätietoja

Hotellet ligger väldigt nära stranden vilket är skönt om man bara vill bada. Standardrummet med dubbelsängen var bekväm och ren. Badrummet hade ett badkar och dusch. Fler engelspråkiga kanaler på TV hade dock varit önskvärt. Nu var det bara CNN och CNBC. Både frukost och lunch-/middagsbufféerna var varierande och man hade mycket att välja på. Överlag […] väldigt god mat även om maten som riktade sig till barnen (korv, hamburgare, pizza) inte höll någon vidare kvalité. Personalen trevlig och kunnig i engelska samt hjälpsam om du t ex vill hyra cykel eller dylikt. Bra hotell. Lisätietoja
