Sijainti on kaupungin ulkopuolella, matka keskustaan on ajettava autolla. Muutamia pikaruokapaikkoja ja ketjuravintoloita kävelyetäisyydellä. Lähellä on hyvä kauppa, mutta huoneessa ei ole jääkaappia. Huoneet siistit ja tilavat. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Olimme lomalla, kaupunki entuudestaan tuttu, joten tiesimme sijainnin, ja se on ihanteellinen. Hancock Tower nurkan takana, ja siitä alkaa magnificent Mile. Toiseen suuntaan muutama sata metriä ja pääset aamulenkille pitkin Chicagon upeita rantoja. Hotelli oli ihan siisti, sinänsä varsin hyvässä kunnossa, kokolattiamatot tietysti joka paikassa, kuten tapaan kuuluu, mutta kuuma oli. Huoneessa ei joko ilmastointi toiminut tai oli alitehoinen, siellä oli tukalan kuuma. Lattia antoi hieman periksi paikoin (ilmeisesti levyjen nurkissa), mutta se ei ei haitannut. Toinen haittaava ongelma oli wc-pöntön jatkuva tukkeentuminen, ja hieman kuulostelin, että veden kanssa oli hieman ehkä yleisemminkin ongelmaa. Päivystäjä oli kyllä aina paikalla parissa minuutissa fiksaamassa ongelman. Aamulla sai kahvia, jos haluaa enemmän, saa lähialueen kuppiloista mukavia bageleita. Eli: jos olet visiitillä, ja haluat liikkua ydinkeskustassa, on tämä hyvä vaihtoehto. Luksusta ei, mutta ihan kelpo ja hinta ok. Huoneet isoja, mahtuu useampikin perheenjäsen. Jos vähänkin tuntee paikkoja, niin cta:lla (juna) chicagon asemalle ja bussilla 66 joka lähtee maanalisesta noustua risteyksen vastakkaiselta puolelta rantaa kohti, ja jää pois Michigan avenuen kohdalla) (turisti-info), siitä on kahden korttelin kävelymatka. 2,25 usd.

Kokolattiamatto oli melko likainen. Suihkussa ei ollut käsisuihkua. Erittäin hyvä sijainti.

I stay at this hotel every year and my husband I love it. They are renovating the hotel and updating rooms. I like the rooms but, they remodeled the lobby and I didn't care for the style they chose it used to be homey now it's cold and super modern. Not a fan at all sorry. "Good Value"
Great location for Ikea and surrounding shopping opportunities. Good value for the money. Only room minor problems - 1. phone message lite wouldn't turn off; 2. TV sound could not be lowered; and 3, only clock in room could not be set to correct time. Third time staying there and first time any problems, minor or otherwise.
My Children and I were impressed by this motel. We've paid higher prices and received poorer service other places. Breakfast was excellent and very satisfing.There was even a Gideon Bible located by our bedside. The kitchenet was well furnished for cooking but we didn't use it. Coffee was great in the room. I was thouroughly impressed with this facility. It was clean neat and in a great location. The hot breakfast was awesome. I will definitley stay there again and recommend that all of my family and friends do as well.

"Pleasant Stay"
We were surprised to find that the kitchen provides pots and pans, dinnerware, and utensils - everything you need to make a meal and eat there if you need to. The bathroom is nice and clean. We really enjoyed the stay, although it is about 30 minutes drive to downtown Chicago during weekend.

Had a room with a kitchenette, so could cook my own meals in the evening (WAY cheaper than eating out). Couldn't be happier.

We stayed at this Homewood Suites during a road trip we took this summer and it was by far the best hotel we had. The towels were nice, room was comfortable and they even had scones at breakfast!
"Excellent stay for great price"
We were there for a national tkd tournament. The staff was very accommodating, even in the late evening. We needed some room to practice and the night auditor generously offered us the use of a conference room. And the new LCD tvs in the rooms are a plus!!!

I researched hotels near Schaumburg for hours and hours and Homewood Suites always came up as being the best choice. We visited last week and, not surprisingly, it was as good if not better than I thought. "Homewood Suites Schaumburg"
Location was perfect - very close to Woodfield Mall and other great shopping and eating. The hotel suite was a little worn and very dark in the living space. They need more lighting and better bulbs. Lots of storage though and two great TVs. Breakfasts were very good and menu changed every day at least for four days.

We were hoping for a room w/2 double beds but wound up with king and pullout bed which was not comfy. Free breakfast AND dinner buffet/drinks very nice idea. Pool could be updated but o.k.

"Dog Friendly?"
We have stayed at this same hotel every year for over a decade. We always bring our two small well behaved dogs. This was the first time I had the feeling they tolerated dogs. "Great Place to Stay"
This hotel provided a great experience at a great price. It was convenient to the Woodfield Mall area and to Medieval Times. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I have never state in a Homewood before and it won't be my last time. Room was clean b right, staff friendly and I really liked the air conditioner units outiside. There isn't that typical hotel noise and we heard no one in the hallway or above us. Pricewas reasonable and breakfast was good! "Pleasant Stay - Old TVs"
The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Quiet, clean neighborhood; walking distance to a Portillos! The televisions were old, bad color no adjustment and not enjoyable to watch - they said new ones were being installed in a couple of weeks (June `11).
"Simple and convenient"
It's all you are looking for if you are looking for comfortable, clean accommodation with good breakfast in the mornings. There is nothing fancy about this hotel but it has everything needed. Suites are great and kitchens have basic appliances which is a huge plus when traveling with kids.

"Nice place to stay"
Staff was excellent and it was a pleasant surprise to have breakfast included as well as dinner during the week. Not far to other locations by car, but a car is needed if you are doing business in the area and do not have someone to take you places. I recommend this facility and when going back for business will stay there again.

The hote lwas very nice, the room was very clean, a few little improvements needed. The layout of the hotel was alomost like a apartment complex. Very close to the Woodfield mall and restuarants. "Just what I was looking for!"
Check in was easy. The room was big and clean! The staff was very friendly and even helped me carry my luggage out to my car when all the carts were in use (I am 7 months pregnant). This is a great place to stay.
"Comforters and Floor Not Fully Clean"
The carpet left my feet somewhat dark (it's in dire need of a shampoo). The comforter had dirt. (fortunately, it's the top comforter that I don't need and just left on the floor). Very nice amenities given the price. Hot meal type complimentary breakfast was nice. Surprising to know that dinner is also provided in weekdays as complimentary. Parking is also complimentary. Third floor window-side temperature at winter night feels a little cold, but you could adjust the room temperature. The only inconvenience is its location; […] it is a little far from Chicago downtown in case you need to go to Chicago. Also access to the hotel from highway is a little hectic; GPS would help you a lot. My family stayed at the hotel for the year-end vacation at Chicago. There were a few minor items: Missing lightbulb, missing dimmer switch and all the dishes were still in the dishwasher. After reporting to the front desk, all items were taken care of. The TV in the bedroom was shot: the color was all green. I did not ask it to be replaced but told them it needed to be after I left. "Nice, but"
Absolutely no water pressure in shower. Couldn't have blown the spores off of a dandelion. However, kudos to staff. We left behind a toiletry kit, and it arrived 2 days after checkout via FedEx.
