Sijainti on kaupungin ulkopuolella, matka keskustaan on ajettava autolla. Muutamia pikaruokapaikkoja ja ketjuravintoloita kävelyetäisyydellä. Lähellä on hyvä kauppa, mutta huoneessa ei ole jääkaappia. Huoneet siistit ja tilavat. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Olimme lomalla, kaupunki entuudestaan tuttu, joten tiesimme sijainnin, ja se on ihanteellinen. Hancock Tower nurkan takana, ja siitä alkaa magnificent Mile. Toiseen suuntaan muutama sata metriä ja pääset aamulenkille pitkin Chicagon upeita rantoja. Hotelli oli ihan siisti, sinänsä varsin hyvässä kunnossa, kokolattiamatot tietysti joka paikassa, kuten tapaan kuuluu, mutta kuuma oli. Huoneessa ei joko ilmastointi toiminut tai oli alitehoinen, siellä oli tukalan kuuma. Lattia antoi hieman periksi paikoin (ilmeisesti levyjen nurkissa), mutta se ei ei haitannut. Toinen haittaava ongelma oli wc-pöntön jatkuva tukkeentuminen, ja hieman kuulostelin, että veden kanssa oli hieman ehkä yleisemminkin ongelmaa. Päivystäjä oli kyllä aina paikalla parissa minuutissa fiksaamassa ongelman. Aamulla sai kahvia, jos haluaa enemmän, saa lähialueen kuppiloista mukavia bageleita. Eli: jos olet visiitillä, ja haluat liikkua ydinkeskustassa, on tämä hyvä vaihtoehto. Luksusta ei, mutta ihan kelpo ja hinta ok. Huoneet isoja, mahtuu useampikin perheenjäsen. Jos vähänkin tuntee paikkoja, niin cta:lla (juna) chicagon asemalle ja bussilla 66 joka lähtee maanalisesta noustua risteyksen vastakkaiselta puolelta rantaa kohti, ja jää pois Michigan avenuen kohdalla) (turisti-info), siitä on kahden korttelin kävelymatka. 2,25 usd.

Kokolattiamatto oli melko likainen. Suihkussa ei ollut käsisuihkua. Erittäin hyvä sijainti.

When I got to the room I could not believe how big and beautiful it was....I had gotten a really good deal thanks to my Hotels.com app.... When I looked at the gallery photos, I thought that was a much more expensive room not the one I had booked, it was so luxurious....The staff was friendly and very accommodating when I asked for a late check out.... This was a nice hotel and and the surrounding areas were nice. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay for printing. Cheaper hotels don't charge you for that stuff, but hey, it's not like I was broke afterwards. I only stayed here because I didn't want to stay in Downtown Chicago and […] spend 5 times the amount I had to stay here. While I had to go into Chicago all the time, and this hotel was far away from the city, I am glad I stayed here. The lady at the front desk encouraged me to utilize the Metra train. Very spacious rooms, nicely furnished. Free internet in the lobby, free parking. Close to the airport, so depending on the days planes fly over the hotel, but with closed windows it's ok. To go to downtown Chicago, best is to park your car in the P+R at Cumberland station and take the metro (blue line). Firstly, if all you want is a comfortable bed and a couple flat-screen TVs, this is just what you need! No problems on either of those fronts. My qualms arose in that two of the towels we were given (one given initially, with the room, another given later with day-after room service) were either stained or dirty, the bathroom was quite small and the […] bathtub had a reasonably large chip along the bottom of it. Additionally, we asked for more coffee for our room, and were informed that the fee, per cup, was $2.75. Firstly, that differed from the price list we later found, and secondly, it is a bit cheap for a hotel like Sheraton Suites to charge for every cup of coffee. Maybe make one refill (per customer per day) free, and THEN charge, so that people don't abuse, but honestly? $2.75 for a cup of coffee? The AC did not work and they had the heat blowing... When we felt hot, I called the front desk and they told me to open the window because the only have the heat working. The window only opened about 3 inches and we felt like we were suffocating.... The iron didn't work.... The coffee maker didn't work.... I called front desk about the Internet and […] the night person was extremely rude.... Will not recommend to anyone and will never stay there..... "Overall nice business hotel"
Room was clean, bathroom was small but it was nice having a suite. Good cold refrigerator in room along with a microwave, made it easy to fix your own snacks. Breakfast buffet was included in rate, it was served in a very nice dining room and while not lavish, was very adequate. Used to stay at this hotel qute often years ago. Very quite and convenient location. Now it is a time for an upgrade. There was a rip in the carpet right in the middle of room for 254. "Remote from the City, but very comfortable"
We spent two days in the Suites and had a really nice room overlooking very pretty parkland. The hotel was extremely convenient for Interstate 90 which goes directly into Chicago, but despite the fact it is only a 22 mile journey we never completed it in less than 75 minutes + normally it took around 2 hours.

Great choice, if you have a car. Free parking...but everything is quite a drive away. Subway is close and you can park for $4 for the day and get into the city within 20 minutes.

A bit out of the way, but a great, peaceful alternative for anyone who needs to stay close to O'Haret, but would rather not put up with the noise, schlock, congestion, and high prices in the hotel ghetto on the east side of the airport.
