Very close to Pearl Street (Main shopping street in Boulder). Nice view of the Rocky Mountains.. Classic setup.. Old historic telephone,, furnitures of classical style.. reception in a classical manner.. The lift.. fantastic.. similar to the Titanic ship's one.. I enjoyed my 4 days stay in this hotel.. :)

I booked a "traditional queen" room with my wife. When we arrived, our room had 2 twin beds. We were told they were too full to accommodate a change that night, though could give us a more expensive king room the next day. Unfortunate since we booked months early and would have stayed elsewhere if we predicted this. Hotel is overall nice and historic. […] Rooms risk being either on the alley and prone to *loud* middle of the night / early morning noise as nearby pubs tend to garbage / recycling cleanup, or quiet though crypt-like with only a single tiny window facing the side of the hotel. Very nice hotel in an excellent location in boulder. Charming historic property with a great staff, very accommodating. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

i love boulder and do not understand why the entire population of earth has not moved there. well maybe they have but i love it best

I couldn't have been happier with my stay at the Boulderado. I went to a comedy show at the Boulder Theater and wanted to be within walking distance so I chose the Boulderado. I'm very happy I did. The only thing I had an issue with was the valet service that you have to use. However, the valets were great and very helpful. They took good care of my […] car and they were patient with me when I had to go rescue my phone from the car after they parked it. The hotel is the perfect distance from the Boulder Theater and Pearl Street so I didn't need to use my car the entire time I was there. Major Plus! Great hotel overall, service, restaurants, decor, location. Charming. Minus: gym is a health club 2.5 blocks away. Note: the annex is well done and not part of the original historic building (connected by convenient skywalk). view of the Flatirons from the Annex is over the ugly alley. Get a high floor.

This is my third and best time staying here. Definitely not my typical design style but it is very clean, the staff is great and the best location in town! Can walk to everything! If you aren't comfortable in old cramped elevators and can't take the stairs, stay somewhere else - I like the exercise. Two wonderful bars, with great food. Will return.

Parking is an issue due to the location of this hotel. They offer valet, but did charge the room for use of this service.

My room was lovely, facing north and the mountains. Everything was very clean and well furnished. The surrounding area is great for walking and browsing and is very convenient for many diverse eating experiences.Have stayed here before and would do so again.

I am glad I had the opportunity to stay at the hotel. What I didn't like was the bar music and wedding music that was so loud you could hear it in my hotel room. For such a world class hotel I was surprised that there were no slippers or robes in the hotel room. It was very cold, tile bathroom floor that wasn't heated or slippers to keep my feet warm. […] There were also no fluffy rugs in the bathrooms as well. That would have made the stay so much nicer. We stayed in a King Suite, great. Staff was prompt, friendly and efficient. Great food at the restaurant.

We were just looking to get away from a night in a romantic setting, and the historic feel of the Boulderado was great at Christmastime. The service was terrific. Modern amenities worked into the truly historic building.

The Boulderado is an elegant hotel convenient to the Pearl Street Shopping District. I stayed in a double queen in the annex section, and while not really much different from a nice chain hotel once in the room, the convenience to Pearl Street really makes this a good value. The proximity to downtown attractions was so convenient, I didn't need to rent […] a car for my stay, and since RTD offers bus service to Boulder from the Denver airport, it was simple to get here and enjoy everything without the added expense and hassle of a rental car. We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The food at Q's restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) was outstanding. The deluxe 2 queen room we had was very large, and immaculate. We look forward to staying here again. A beautiful, historic location and convenient to campus/Pearl street, etc.

It is a little pricey, but the staff was utterly delightful and the hotel is a step back into the past, right down to the bell-staff operated elevator with the sliding cage door. Room (suite) was lovely and large, bed blessedly comfortable. Location is the best, just off the Pearl St. Mall with many unique local shops and good restaurants. The Hotel Boulderado has all the character of a historic hotel, and has been updated with all the comforts of a new hotel. Yes, the rooms are a little smaller but still decorated for maximum efficiency.

I stayed here for three nights and found the hotel to be very pleasant. The first night in a single queen room in the older part of the hotel was a bit small for two people. The next two nights we stayed in a double queen room in the newer section. We found this to be perfect. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean and the bed are comfy. It […] is located just off Pearl street so we had access to some great dinning and shopping as well as entertainment. You can't beat the cost for valet parking $10, where do you find that!!! Overall the hotel was good and I will recommned this hotel to others.

Perfect location. Very convenient to shopping and dining. Nicely restored and maintained historic hotel.

Over priced rooms and they still charged for all the things that are usually complementary at other hotels e.g. parking, newspaper... Room was dusty and small. We could here every door opening and conversation in the wing. Not only were newspapers not complementary but the gift shop was sold out of newspapers by 8 a.m.

loved the hotel but our room was on a busy street and the college kids partied all night I got 6 hours of sleep for 2 nights

The Boulderado is a charming hotel with loads of personality! If you're a frequent business traveler, like me, you won't wake in the morning wondering where you are for a minute. It's location, a block off the Pearl Street Mall, makes it perfect - restaurants and shops of all types are within easy walking distance, and when weather permits, the mall […] provides a backdrop for all manner of street performers. Wonderful old hotel, well kept, clean and convenient location to Pearl St. Staff were accommodating and personable. Hotel was kind of pricey, but for a 1 night stay it was perfect.

Great location and service at this hotel. We would stay here again next time we come to Boulder. The hotel itself has a great old feel to it. Feels like titanic. The rooms however look as if they just haven't done anything with them since 1940. They could get new "older" things including the curtains and shower curtains, just not the nicest of rooms. […] Beds are not comfortable. The hotel is old and stuffy. The rooms are tiny and offer no amenities. It is just a very basic old hotel, but in a terrific location. The entrance is difficult to locate and the elevator did not work. In general getting everything to your room is a hassle. There is no refrigerator, no microwave, a tiny tv, and the noise is excessive (hallways and street). […] So if you need to be next to CU and will only sleep in the room this will work fine, otherwise it will be a poor experience. Charming historical hotel with modern room facilities and great service. Great restaurant and bar w/street side seating. Ideal Boulder location.

Everything else was.... eh. Hair dryer died after 5 minutes, room smelled like smoke and had no personality. If you're in the newer section of the hotel it's a haul to get to the rooms. Beautiful hotel. The hotel is antique without being kitscke. Not the most business friendly (the desk chairs in the rooms are very uncomfortable). Case in point, we needed a small area for 3 people to take a conference call for about 1 hour. The staff directed us to the sales desk and they wanted to charge us $250 to use a meeting room. Lovely historic lobby area and fantastic for access to Pearl St. etc. We were in the newer wing of the hotel in an average room. Rather dark. As frequent visitors to Boulder, The Boulderado is worth a stay for a special occasion or once to experience the historic ambience, but the room itself was nothing special.

I've stayed in this hotel before and it's the only place in my mind to stay in Boulder. Everything is contemporary with the old feel to it. The staff is wonderful, food wonderful and the location is the best. I would highly recommend the Boulderado and hope to return soon!
