Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Portland Airport - Portland

I booked into Shilo Inn as a last minute resort when I arrived in Portland at 6:30 pm and had to find a place to stay. I was very happy with the hotel, and the only tiny thing that bothered my was the bed - it was fine, but not as comfortable as I expected a king-size suite bed to be. Also, it was very wide but rather short (I am 5"7 and fit perfect, […] yetif I had gone there with a boyfriend, he would have probably not fit in it). Furthermore, I advise whoever comes there to USE THE SHUTTLE! It's a life saver. Gets you straight to the airport, where you can take the IMAX that gets you straight Downtown, or to anywhere else you wish to go. Overall - great experience! Lisätietoja

Loved it! Nice room with lovely view. Perfect stay close to the airport. Warm and very clean room through out! Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Most of the staff was great!! The key cards need a great deal of work. Had to replace 4 times in a 2 night stay.

We Loved our bed, very comfortable - was SO happy to see the we take Debit sign on the check-in counter, have had troubles with other hotels not taking debit or cash for "incidentals" - Shilo Inn is building loyalty in this family!

Enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Ate at the restaurant on the premises, great food and atmosphere. The pianist in the evening was very good. After having to cancel a horrible motel I'd originally booked, I was delighted to find Shilo Inn at the Airport for a reasonable price. The suite I got was fabulous, with a huge, beautiful bed and a great mattress. There were seven pillows available, all different sizes so I could pick the one that suited me best. The suite was gorgeous...really too […] big for one person, but I appreciated the space. The only part of the suite that showed any wear at all was the bathroom. Wallpaper was peeling off, the faucets were stubborn, and the bathroom fan was intermittent. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good. Although I'd read some not-so-kind remarks about it, I found it to be good enough to stay in and not drive somewhere else. Live music from the lounge made dinner more enjoyable. Two different pianists were well-versed in repertoire and technique! (I know! I'm a musician.) The food was plentiful, served piping hot, and delicious. The included hot breakfast could not have been better, with a choice of eggs, meat, potatoes or fruit and toast. The wait staff was a bit overworked, but there were several seminars and workshops being held in the meeting rooms. Some of the attendees were a bit demanding!! If I'm ever in the Pacific Northwest again, after this vacation, I'll be sure to look for a Shilo Inn. Other then the fact we moved the couch and they had not vacuumed under it it was a great stay. The Televisions should be brought into the 21st Century but a great stay!!!

The two young ladies with us (6 and 10) enjoyed the pool to the maximum. We arrived too late for thecontinental b'fast, but the young lady accomodated us.Visit was fine. Portland hotel taxes are pretty steep. but not the fault of the hotel. It was good except for the fact the check in agent did not make it clear we could get a free hot breakfast which included waffles, eggs, etc. in the dining room. I thought we could only get the continental cold breakfast with the coupon. It would have been nice to have had this on our short stay with them! The check in staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a junior Queen suite with a seperate seating area that was nicely equipped with a counter,sink, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Overall, the room is comfortable. The room is spacious, but the TV's are a bit dated. Other than the large LCD TV in the bedroom, the other two TV's are like a throw-back to the 70's. The furnishing appears a little worn, but otherwise acceptable. They do offer two areas for breakfasts: one is the continental breakfast in the lobby (which is a joke), […] the other is free breakfast from their restaurant. This is a nice hotel, close to the airport. You can also get fairly quick to other locations in Portland. The staff was friendly and the beds comfortable. The indoor pool and spa are open 24 hours. I definitely would stay there again.

Check in was courteous. Room was very clean and comfortable. The tvs are old and outdated. Bed was comfy got a good night's sleep. Restaurant onsite was convenient and had good food.

This Shilo Inn is the best I have frequented. Not only do you have a great room, but they give you a free full fare breakfast in their Restaurant. I always stay at this establishment when I am in Portland.

We took our son, grandson and his best friend to Portland for spring break. We chose the Shilo Inn because of the pool and breakfast. It was a wonderful place to stay and the price was so attractive too. The boys spent a lot of time in the pool and both agreed that made a wonderful vacation for them. Not the first time I have stayed here, however my family decided to stay this night on our way home rather than getting up early and driving back to the airport. It was a beautiful room and they asked us what floor we would like which I find very kind so you can get rest without noise. Will definitely stay again!

We were there a short time. I loved having the work room with the computer and printer. people were very nice especially the driver to the airport. I wish they would have given us more towels. There were only 2 large ones and we had 3 people. We would stay here again. Thank you.

Great room for the price -- the suite comfortably housed 3 adults and a baby and all of our stuff. The supplied crib was an actual, small wooden crib instead of a pack'n'play, which was nice. The room was clean and quiet. breakfast was included, with an option for either continental (with barista service for coffee/lattes) or aone of 3 choices at the […] restaurant. we're budget travellers and so don't look for much beyond a clean room and reasonable rate, but here we found ourselves thoroughly enjoying our stay. Everything in the room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the king bed gave us a good night's sleep and even the pool was bigger than usual. Complimentary Breakfast was average for hotels of this class, […] with an option of continental or hot breakfast in the restaurant. Access to downtown is reasonably quick if you know what you're doing on the freeway. Generally the hotel is very quiet apart from occasional airplane noise. We did it all and wish we could have bee there longer! Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle from airport arrived within minutes. Check-in was easy. Suite was huge and comfortable. We ran down to restaurant for take-out...very good and reasonably priced. We had received coupons for complimentary wine, 10% off meal, and free breakfast.
