Great hotel, good service, good food, great room, highly recommend

The hotel itself is very nice, however, the staff at the front desk not so much. We were assigned the incorrect room size at check in for our party and the staff moved us without apology. The hot water was out for several hours the next morning, they offered a $30 credit because we couldn't take a shower. The room safe wouldn't unlock and we had to […] call security to open it. We returned to our room on day 2 to find both of our keys were disabled (they accused us of placing them near our cell phones which we didn't do). With each problem the front desk staff was less then helpful, always blaming us for their problem. After several compaints they did agree to credit our account with $55 and sent us 4 pieces of fruit and two bottles of water as a peace offering. We sat next to a couple at the bar one evening who were also having troubles with the staff. The facilites are great, the hotel very nicely decorated, the area very nice but farther than we would have liked from DC, and it does sit off of toll roads which cost us $2.25 one way every time we came and went from the hotel to/from DC. Hopefully with all of the complaining us and others did regarding their staff they will do some training and/or hiring. While I am not sure I will ever stay there again it might be fine for others IF they make some changes in staff including the assistant manager. Lisätietoja

good hotel

Found the windows with a bunch of finger prints and the carpet needed vacuuming badly. Found hair on towels and on the bathroom floor. Recommend to first clean the room. Once the room is cleaned up, the room in general is very nice and the location is very convenient. Tipped housekeeping staff in hopes of a cleaner room, but ended up with extra soap […] bars and shampoo instead. The true service of the hotel is in the restaurant. They have an excellent wait staff that is very attentive and committed to service. The food was good for a hotel. We loved our stay at the Hyatt in Reston. It is perfectly located to wonderful shops and restaurants. One feels like they are in their own little city. The pavilion has many activities each month. On our visit, Clyde's was having their 1st Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration. The staff at the Hyatt is friendly, accommodating and professional. hotel has a good location but the front desk staff was extremely unfriendly to me b/c I had children as a result of which she gave us a room in a busy area of the hotel with lots of noise. Otherwise the hotel has a good location. Also internet was overprice and they charge you per equipment in the room so if you have a cel phone and a laptop that's […] two charges as opposed to one customary fee for 24 hour period. Hotel was very nice.

My husband's company had thier Christmas party here, so we decided to stay the night. Cocktails were in the hallway and other parties needed to walk through the same hallway to get to thier party, which was not the best situation in my opinion. Hallways on the way to the room were very beat up from years of use. They need to remodel the hallways to […] the rooms. The rest of the hotel was nice. Food at party was average. Soup had a film over the top because it was plated too soon and had already cooled. One person at our table was told that they did not have anymore chicken even though that is what she ordered on her reservation request for the party. They asked what she would like instead, so she chose vegetarian, and then about 15 minutes later they brought her chicken. Poor planning on the hotels part. This hotel was fabulous. It is right on top of a great shopping district in Reston with tons of restaurants, shops, a movie theater and outdoor ice skating rink. The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. The best thing, by far, was the breakfast in the Market Street Restaurant each morning that came with our room. Very nice hotel. Nice and clean room. Very good bed. 4 elevators, so you never have to wait for long. Better than staying out at the airport. Reston is a nice place and the hotel is right in the center of town.

I attended acoference at this hotel and it was very comfortable and probably recently re-decorated. My only complaints are minimal. No bathroom fan! athe surrounding neighborhood offers plenty of dining and shopping options. Staff was pleasant and helpful from the moment of check-in. I would definitely return.

This property is conveniently located in an area with lots of shops and restaurants. However, if you don't want to leave the hotel there are several convenient meal opportunities. The property itself is very clean and provides no-cost as well as valet parking. If you are handicapped or have difficulty walking, make sure you request a room near the elevators. […] The building itself is large and sprawling and you can end up being quite far away from the elevators if you aren't careful. The staff at the hotel did a great job at handling my problem of getting the wrong room. Kudos to Melony and her staff.

Our van was dinged during valet parking because of another customer's improperly parked car. The hotel documented everything and their insurance is covering all repairs. They were great.

I was delighted with your hotel! My daughter lives in Reston, but two of my sisters live in NJ and they decided to come to my grandson's first communion and we made it a girl's weekend! All three of us were very pleased with the hotel and had a wonderful time! The only problem we had was that we went in and out so many times and were talking and laughing […] so much it was difficult a couple of times to remember where we parked the car. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at this fine hotel. It exceeded my expectations for room comfort, fine dining at the Market Street Grill and the friendly and professional staff.

Very excited about staying here again. Beautiful, brand new interior (phone and flat screen TV in the bathroom!), super comfortable bed, and great location. It was surrounded by trendy bars, classy restaurants, great shopping (Loft, J. Crew, Anthropologie, Sephora, and others). There is an outdoor ice rink literallly next to the hotel, and a Panera […] inside the hotel. It also has its own sit-down restaurant. Best choice in Reston, VA. Competitively priced.

It's a really nice property at Reston Town center which has places to shop, eat and be entertained without having to drive anywhere.

It was more than expected. Being on a budget, my brother and I did not expect to get into a hotel of this calibur. We were all set for a Holiday Inn setting, in flip flops and cargo shorts, but pulling up to a 15-story hotel, with fountains and an EXCELLENT outside shopping center surrounding it, we were extremely impressed. The receptionist actually […] got our room wrong, but made up for it by having a roll-in bed put into the room for my 6'3" brother to sleep in. He said it was more comfortable than any full-sized bed he's ever slept in, in any other hotels. The restaurant inside the hotel was absolutely amazing. Between the duck cigars, philly cheesesteak with sweet potato fries, perfect calamari, and the most succulent crab cake with lobster tail, my brother and I ate like kings. There was an indoor fountain, multiple shops and stores INSIDE, so in case it's raining outside, there's plenty to do. My brother got a kick out of not only the wide-screen TV in the main room, but the iPod dock and the TV in the BATHROOM too! The only downside is the fact that the breakfast was not complimentary, but well worth paying for, since it was an all-you-can-eat buffet! All in all, I would not only stay there again, but definitely recommend it to friends and family. WORTH THE TRIP! Plus, being only 30minutes from DC, it makes a great stop if you're visiting the capital, but want to remove yourself from its hustle and bustle. Lisätietoja

Very nice hotel. Perfect location. Near a local bus transit hub. Lots of high quality restaurants in Reston town, all within 5mins walking from the hotel. There is a cinema as well. Breakfast a bit pricey but you have panera bread and other eateries at the ground level.

This Hyatt was very good. I say best in the area, because I've stayed at some of the Sheratons and Marriots in this area and was dissappointed.

For the price, this was one of the best hotels we've visited in a long time. The service was outstanding and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. The only negative was that there was a charge for internet service.

This was a great hotel. It had a great staff and we got exactly what we expected. The reviews and the previews on the webpage are exactly what they say. The gym is pretty good. The pool is a little small but it's good enough. The Panera downstairs is really convenient.

While I have no complaints of this otherwise great hotel, I firmly believe that Hyatt has overpriced their Internet service. Most hotels offer free WIFI these days but au contraire with Hyatt. Rather than pay their outrageous fees for Internet service I went to the nearby free service offered by Panera Bread which is located in the hotel.
