Rosen Inn, closest to Universal - Orlando

Oikein hyvä perushotelli tapahtumien ja palveluiden keskellä. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet moneen suuntaan. Lippupalvelu aulassa ja hyvä ravintola ja pikku kauppa perustarpeineen ja matkamuistoineen samassa rakennuksessa. Siisti hotelli ei kuitenkaan luksus josta joutuisi pulittamaan itsensä kipeäksi. Majoituin Rosen Inn - Closest to Universal -hotellissa 9 vuorokautta. Suomalaiseen makuun luhtitalon tyyppisesti toiminut huoneistoratkaisu oli alkuun vähän erikoinen, mutta yleisesti ottaen kyseessä oli hinta/laatu -suhteeltaan varsin hyvä hotelli. Hotelli oli vasta remontoitu ja siisti. Huoneessa jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin ja mikro. Hotellissa myös aamiaistarjoilu, jota emme käyttäneet. Hississä oli aina ilmoitus aamiaisen sisällöstä. Uima-allas alue toimiva(altaalle sai pyyhkeet sieltä). Paljon ruokapaikkoja lähellä. Hotellista sai ostettua liput Univesalin huvipuistoon ja sinne oli myös kuljetukset. […] Disneyhin mentiin omalla autolla. Wet¨n wild melkein toisella puolella katua. Olin tässä hotellissa viikon helmikuun lopulla 2011. Hotelli oli jotakuinkin odotusteni mukainen. Hotelli oli aika siisti, joskin huoneet ehkä kaipaisivat pikku remontointia - esim. jotkin pistorasioista olivat rikki. Siivous oli muuten kelvollista, mutta lakanoita ei vaihdettu viikon aikana kertaakaan. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta, […] mm. huoneen vaihto onnistui aika kivuttomasti, kun ensimmäisen yön jälkeen valitin hiukan kovasta liikenteen melusta. Ilmastointilaite tosin piti vielä kovempaa ääntä. Aamiainen ei kuulunut hintaan , mutta riittävän kattava buffet-aamiainen veroineen JA tarjoilupalkkioineen ei maksanut mahdottomia. Ja tarjoilijat olivat erittäin ystävällisiä. Uima-allas oli ihan o.k. ja siisti ja rauhallinenkin. Hotellilla on myös pelihalli, mutten käynyt siellä kertaakaan, joten en voi siitä esittää arviotani. Hotellin sijainti on varmaan sen parhaita puolia. Universal on vain parin kilometrin päässä ja Wet'nWild melkeinpä kävelymatkan päässä. Lähistöllä on lisäksi paljon erilaisia ruokapaikkoja ja kauppoja. Jos rohkeutta riittää kannattaa kokeilla hurjaa kyytiä parin sadan metrin päässä Sling Shot -laitteella - 390 ft up in the air! Rosen Inn is the closest hotel to Universal, besides the Universal Resort hotels. We walked home one night from City Walk and it was only about 20 minutes at the most. Also, the free shuttle is very convenient to get there before the park opens and right after it closes. The room was very clean and the pool area was perfect. The Location was fabulous! Hotel was clean, beds comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. My sister and I had a ball for a really economical price.

I will never stay there again they put me in a hotel room on the third floor and I had a baby with a crib and lot of luggage no elevator and they said the could not move me to a room with a elevator in the hotel it was bad service all round!

Upon arrival, we were about 1/2 earlier than check in. It was not a problem at all. We brought with us our meduim size dog, and was quite pleased with the room. We thought because there were dogs allowed that the rooms would smell of them. THEY DID NOT. There was security that walked the property to make sure that all was quiet. We absolutly loved the […] location, 1 block from Wet N Wild and about a 5 minute drive to Universal. The restaurant was great. I would for sure recommend this to anyone and we will BE BACK. We enjoyed our stay at the Rosen Inn, the room was great and very clean. the locatio was fantastic . We had Dinner at the Shogun in the Hotel and the food was great and the service great also. It is located very close to Universal and Wet&Wild. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

This hotel was very nice and convenient. Good location, nice pool and eateries on property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recently renovated and kept clean. A great value!

I preregistered at the front desk when I first arrived. I wasn't allowed an early check in but I was assured that both rooms that I paid for would be next to each other. The hotel kept our bags as we spent the day Universal's Islands of Adventure. When we returned, I was notified that there were no 2 rooms available that were next to each other. Our […] rooms were apparently given away. No explanation or reasonable apologies were given. Bad service. The rooms were semi-adequate. Although I can't blame the hotel for what I assume was a bad guest, there was door slaming almost every other minute from midnight til 1 AM. When checking out, I asked for a receipt for my rooms. very clean room, well priced!

The hotel was not in the best condition. It was outdated and dingy looking and there was an unappealing smell throughout the hotel. The cleanliness of the room was poor everything from the grout, towels to the rug. Will not stay there again.

Room was small no luggage stand rust filled iron with smelly ironing board. Gameroom was misrepresented it is very small no life guard at pool. If I were staying longer than two days I would have checked out early.

Excellent! Good value for money. Clean. Good restaurant. Walking distance to Universal. Good lobby shop.

This hotel was as described by other reviewers; clean and helpful staff. Our room was supposed to be 2 queen sized beds-- it was a little cramped in the bathroom area for more than 2 people, and the beds were doubles. We got in late, so didn't bother trying to change rooms for only one night. It was fine for a short visit. The breakfast buffet was decent […] for the price, and great coffee! The only thing lacking was a better selection of fresh fruit. There was French toast, pancakes, regular toast, sugared cereals and milk, sausage, bacon, scrambled "eggs", grits, oatmeal, and a few other things I don't recall. Very helpful tour guides in the lobby as well. Free shuttle to Universal took an hour on the way to the park, due to the bus stopping at many other hotels along the way. Very nice clean hotel.Very near all parks and the outlet stores.

This hotel exceeded my expectation. The location was awesome and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at the Rosen again.

Extremely satisfied with cleaniness and size of room. Could not expect more if room was three times the price:-)

The hotel is centrally located and was extremely clean, comfortable and the front desk staff was very pleasant...great food nearby and if u get a room up top it will be an awesome view of international drive and universal.....highly recommend this place....and the price was awesome as well!!

Place isn't bad for a 1 night stay but it is an older hotel and it shows despite having been renovated. This is a 2 star hotel in my opinion, not a 3. Know that they do charge for breakfast (the quality of which was fairly average). On the plus side, very close to universal. On International Drive, lots of restaurants, shopping, things to do. The shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel, so you don't even have to drive. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning.

I love a good hotel air conditioner and the Rosen a/c was out of control! I felt like I was in the Artic! Overall a very clean hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel is literally within walking distance of Universal Studios which was our destination. The hotel offers shuttles to Universal as well. The rosen is an older hotel but a well […] managed one. The location is amazing you can walk to the shops and attractions near by. The room was small but for 2 people it was perfect, the only thing missing was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom but the shower was a good size. What a very pleasant surprise this turned out to be. We only had the one night to be able to stay in Orlando. We chose this location due to its proximity to Universal Studios. The staff was courteous and friendly, the room was immaculate, and the service was outstanding. This establishment was first rate all the way, The rate was exceptionally reasonable […] and it was next door to a plethora of eating venues. We couldn't have been happier. Very clean and updated accomodations. Didn't expect the hotel to be this nice due to the low price. Accommodations are even nicer than the pictures on website look. Rooms were very quiet. Found we had infants across the hall and next to us when in the hallway. We didn't hear them in our room. Awesome mini golf and amusement park rides within 2 blocks. […] We walked to Universal, which saved us a ton of time! Very impressed to read the magazine in the room about the hotel owner, who does numerous charitable donations and has created programs to improve school lunch programs and funds educational opportunities for the less fortunate. MOTEL AND POOL WERE WELL KEPT, ROOM WAS CLEAN AND NEAT. BATHROOM IS SOMEWHAT SMALL, HOWEVER, THE SINK WAS OUTSIDE THE ENCLOSED BATH AREA.
