Hotel Plaza San Francisco - Santiago

Not recommended for business purpose

Excellent hotel in the center of Santiago. Different from the modern north American hotels. Excellent Chilean atmosphere.

I have know this hotel since it was built, and went back for one night for "nostalgic" reasons. A nightmare from check-in to check-out. There are plenty of splendid, reasonably priced hotels in Santiago. Just...don't...stay...here.

The initial appearance is quite dark and old, however it was very clean and comfortable. It is located near shopping and was fairly easy to find. I only stayed one night and would stay again. The included breakfast was good and they did not charge for parking which was a plus!

Stayed for 4 nights over a weekend. The hotel is situated on the busy O'Higgins Avenue but good double glazing means no noise from the street. The hotel has an old-world charm, lots of varnished mahogany and dim lights. I stayed in suite which was very spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was good and there are restaurants nearby. Large room, comfortable bed,beautiful bathroom with granitetops, jacuzzi bathtub.Main areas were clean, beautiful shining brass and wood inlaid. Substantial breakfast. Very hospitable and helpful staff at front desk.

Very good service and attentive staff. Free WiFi made internet connections easy. This was a business trip so efficiency in services was key for me. Location is excellent: a short walk to the financial district so no need to use cabs. Room was a good size and comfortable, clean, and had all amenities expected in a top class venue. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, all the staff were very helplful and friendly. The food in the cafe was good, I would stay at this hotel again.

I had to visit Santiago to perform a series of legal and business transactions. The Plaza San Francisco Hotel is conveniently located in El Centro (downtown) near all the government offices and many local businesses. The area where the hotel is located is not very tourist friendly. During the day, you have the Downtown area you can visit, but in the […] evening, as in many south american downtowns, there is not much to do as a foreigner. If you want a family friendly experience, stay in Providencia (a commercial area), El Golf (a very nice residential area) or Las Condes (an upscale residential area where all the nice shops, fancy malls and great restaurants are located). The Hotel was nice, fine and the rooms needed some work to bring them up to date. But for business purposes near the El Centro, its a 5 star service for a 3 star price. Friendly Staff! Lisätietoja

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel San Francisco. The rooms were very clean and large, the staff at the bar in the restaurant were very nice a helpful. We actually booked a tour through the concierge and the tour company did nt deliver everything they promised, and hotel negotiated a 50% discount on the tour. Hotellet ligger meget sentralt med gangavstand til interessante severdigheter. Rett rundt hjørnet en stille gågate med noen hyggelige restauranter. Veldig hjelpsom betjening som gav gode tips og ordnet bestilling av sightseeing tur. Prøv restauranten i hotllet, den er utmerket!

O hotel está convenientemente localizado próximo ao centro. Tem bom atendimento. Boa limpeza. O restaurante é um pouco caro mas a comida é boa.

Localizado no centro de Santiago, o hotel é uma excelente opção seja para quem viaja a negócios, seja para quem for fazer uma viagem de escanso turismo. Ótimo serviço e atendimento, quartos limpos e sem barulho. Excelente opção.

Dos dias seguidos el aseo fue realizado despuesde las 12:00 del dia. Segundo no pusieron Shampoo en el baño,tampoco papel higienico Durante toda la estadia habia solo un mini jabon para dos personas y lo reclame pero no se soluciono. Ruidos en la habitacion contigua,la cual estaban arreglando.

el hotel esta' bastante bueno, pero en una posicion donde siempre hay mucho ruido.... en las abitaciones en el lado de la calle principal, no hay forma de dormir con tranquilidàd... limpio, servicio excelente, personal muy cooperante. un poco frio en invierno y el sistema de calefaccion.... no quema.... bueno por el precio pagado. muy bueno el wi-fi […] gratis Lisätietoja

Das Zentrum der Stadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist zu Fuss gut zu erkunden. Eine U-Bahn Station liegt vor der Haustüre. Sicher kein 5-Sterne Haus aber gut ausgestattet und komfortabel.

Fica numa boa localização e muito perto da estação de metro de Universidade do Chile. É possível conhecer as principais atrações de Santiago a pé, de metro ou com taxi, por preços acessíveis.

Hotel com decoração antiga,porém muito bem cuidada e conservada.Áreas comuns muito agradáveis,bons elevadores.Possui uma piscina térmica muito boa(e limpa).Academia bem montada com aparelhos modernos. Quartos amplos com mobília bem conservada,boas camas e travesseiros.Banheiros de bom tamanho com banheira e água quente . Funcionários muito corteses,serviço […] muito bom. Café da manhã de boa qualidade com variedade satisfatória. Boa localização,perto de vários pontos turísticos(pode se ir à pé em muitos deles),várias estações de metrô perto.Localização segura.
