Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu marras 8, 2012Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla ja palvelu oli ystävällistä. Huone oli hyvin varusteltu ja siisti. Hotellissa oli ilmainen ja hyvin toimiva Wi-fi. Kasino ja parkkihalli olivat kiinni hotellissa, joka teki liikkumisesta helppoa. Hotellissa oli myös erittäin hyvä bistro-ravintola jossa oli todella hyvä lounasbuffet hyvään hintaan.

Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The area was next to a highway but still was very quiet and calm. Pretty little place. The lobby was great and the breakfast there very good (fruit, woffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc.). We have nothing to complain about this place and would definitely come back again!

However, three out of four lamps in the room did not work, also the air condition was inoperative. A call to the bell desk brought a technician to my room in a minute or so (very fast) and these things were fixed. The complimentary breakfast was modest, just tee/coffee, some muffins etc. The location could not be better. Both Greektown and the GM Renaissance Center are just around the block.

In town to visit family for Christmas. Stayed Christmas Eve night and Christmas night. Hotel is in the process of renovating their lobby and exercise room so there was some construction going on (even on the holiday), but no noise in my room, so no concern there. There was no maid service due to the holiday, but that was no problem for me. The staff […] was very friendly and welcoming, even though they were also working on the holiday. "Love Hampton Inns, but this is under construction"
Nice place, friendly service. We were trying to get away from our home that is being remodeled and found out after we checked in that the lobby and dining area would be under construction the entire time we were there. They seemed to be very courteous and apologetic about the mess, which was nice. We were just disappointed about not being able to escape […] construction. I'm sure when it's all done, which seemed to be fairly quickly, the lobby will look great. I definitely recommend this hotel. I need an early check in (approximately 3 hours early) and they accommodated me with no hesitation. Every staff person I had interactions with was very friendly. The room was comfortable in size and the bed/bathroom was comfortable. I wasn't able to have breakfast but they gave me a very nice to go bag with fruit, […] water, muffin and granola bar. The only down side to the hotel was that it's located close to main road & the highway so you hear the traffic constantly. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. The door key to the room only worked part of the time. It didn't matter if you put the card in slow or fast. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom to help take out the steam after shower. The comforter on bed was too heavy and no light weight blanket to use. Was charged $50 extra which came out of my checking account that I was not aware of. I called […] and was told it was for incidentals that I did not use. It's been 5 days and still they have not reimbursed me. Although it is an older-style Hampton Inn, everything has been updated and the rooms are very quiet and comfy. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel was an excellent find. We were part of a group of 20 plus and all very much enjoyed the stay. The rooms very clean and spacious with an excellent sleeping bed. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast was o.k. the hot items were not very tasty, but a good variety of other things to chose from. (Danish, bagels, muffins, toast, etc. and yogurt.) The bed did not seem as comfortable as most Hampton Inns, but complained after first night and was moved without question to a different room which was much more comfortable. "Fabulous Muchigan Getaway!"

Hotel and room were super clean. Bathroom in great shape, though doesn't have an exhaust fan. Bed was a little stiff for me but I prefer a soft mattress. Bring your own pillow. Wireless internet speed acceptable. Hot breakfast provided every morning was good. Coffee/Tea provided in the lobby 24/7 was also nice. Coffee shop next door was convenient. "One night stay in April 2012"
