Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu helmi 26, 2013Erinomainen sijainti liikkua junalla ja metrolla. Helppo ja halpa matka hotellin ja JFK:n välillä (n.45 min, 7,5 USD). Manhattanille n. 10-15 min metromatka. Hotelli siisti, huoneet tilavat ja hyvin toimiva siivous. Aamiainen perusamerikkalainen eli kaikenlaista pullaa löytyy. Bonuksena aamiaishuoneen kuumahuoma-automaatti, joka on käytössä pitkin päivää. Ruuhka-aikoina liikeenteen melua. Viereissä Mobil-huoltamo, jossa pieni sekatavaramarket. Seuraavassa korttelissa viinakauppa, pesula ja Deli. Lähin metroasema Queensboro Plaza (200m).

We had 2 queen size bed and the room for four was big enough to overnight, but if you are going to spend more time in hotel room, four might be too many. This hotel is perfectly located when visiting MSG. We also walked to Empire State building and to Rockefeller center, but some could find this walking distance too long. There is a very delicious breakfast available next to lobby at $18, which we enjoyed both mornings. The hotel price was reasonable.

Jos ikkuna kadulle, on hyvä olla korvatulpat mukana, ensi kerralla pyytäisin huonetta sisäpihan puolelta. Voisin ehdottomasti mennä uudestaankin, kaksi eri metrolinjaa ihan hotellin lähellä, pääsee nopeasti mihin vain. Lähellä lukuisia supermarketteja ja aamiaispaikkoja, esim. Moma, Times Square ja Central Park lyheyn kävelyetäisyyden päässä. Huomeet siistejä ja tilavia, alle 10 dollarin aamupala hintaan nähden hyvä ja monipuolinen, muutamaan kertaan kävimme senkin syömässä. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan oli ainakin helmikuussa erinomainen valinta.

Hotelli on erittäin hyvällä paikalla lähellä Times Squarea. Port Authority bussiterminaali on ihan vieressä ja samalla metroasema. Huone oli ihan ok, ehkä vähän vanha ja nuhjuinen. Huoneessa oli jääkaappi, jonne sai omat juomat ja eväät kylmään. Sängyt oli kovat, mutta ei meitä haitanneet, mutta tiedoksi niille jotka kaipaa pehmeitä upottavia sänkyjä. "Good choise for a decent hotel"
I was 9 days on Travel Inn hotel. The hotels location was great appr. 10 minutes walk from times square. Lots of Deli's and stores nearby. Hotel was clean, no bed bugs, but the elevators worked poorly. Also you could hear other guests through the walls which was frustrating on week-ends 2 am. During week there was quiet exept some police sirens on […] the street (common for NY). Ask for a room on the poolside. The staff was somewhat ok, but not friendly. Not rude, like in some reviews. Location of the Travel Inn Hotel was wonderful! Close walk to Times Square... about 10-15 minutes. Safe neighborhood. Free parking! It is NYC, so expect it to be cozy, not spacious. Bathroom is tight, bed space is fine, temp is too hot and you cannot adjust it other than opening the window to traffic. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is convenient for walkers. Short stroll to Times Square in one direction and the Pier if you go the other way. Being in that location felt more […] like being on Boston than NYC. Awesome grocery store one block away, 99 cent large pizza slices 2 blocks away that were actually good and like Beantown, a Dunkin Ds within 600 ft. I live north of the city and hour and used to stay here all the time because of the free parking. After some time the place got run down and not so nice so we would stay other places. "Bad Night's Sleep"
I was only there for one night following my coordination of a very grueling fundraising event. I was exhausted and just wanted to get some rest. The Hotel booked field trip students on my floor and on the floors above and below. They were very loud and exhibited obnoxious behavior that's very typical of teenagers - screaming, banging doors, running […] through the halls, banging on the elevator doors and my room was directly across from the elevators. No supervision was evident. Security wasn't sent to calm them down until I called the front desk 3 times to complain after 1 1/2 hours of this behavior at 11:30 pm. "Great location, , great service, friendly staff"
This hotel is close to everything, a short walk to the best part of Fifth Avenue, to Central Park, to the MoMa, and at the same time, close to Columbus Circle, and the Theater District. Although there is plenty of hot water, it tends to come and go sometimes if someone else on your same line is taking a shower too. Our suite had a large living room […] and what they call a kitchenette, but it only contains a microwave, a refrigerator and a coffee pot. No toaster or mini oven for a grilled sandwich, no blender, no cutlery, no dishes, so to me it does not qualify as a kitchenette, and should not be advertised as such. The person that tried to sleep in the living room couch could not sleep because it sagged in the middle and the springs were hurting her back. We called the next morning and in no time at al they brought up a rollaway and were very pleasant about it. The beds, including the rollaway, were very comfortable and there were a lot of pillows available. We had a large flat screen TV. Despite the small inconveniences, I would definitely recommend Salisbury Hotel. I don´t think there is anything better at that price, and I did look at many hotels on line. We were only there for one night, but it's a decent location, 10 minutes walk from Times Square, 10 minutes from the Intrepid, and a block from the West Side subway lines. We felt safe walking back at night and, for those who are driving to NYC but freaked out by driving in the city, it's super close to the Lincoln Tunnel. The staff was pleasant and […] helpful. One advantage to being more on the edge of midtown is that the room was relatively quiet for NYC. Most of the rooms open onto an interior hallway, but ours opened onto a balcony like a motel does - ours overlooked the outdoor pool. "easy walking distance to theaters"

"Pleasantly surprised!"
We read many reviews before we booked our weekend stay in NYC, especially because rooms were expensive. We decided on Travel Inn because of price and reviews were average. Reviews all stated worth the money and would stay again-- whic is certainlt true. The room was "normal" size which was shocking, many hotel ib city are so tiny, the room was furnished […] with older bedspread, but it had a microwave and a small fridge. The workers were very friendly and professional. I didn't realize, but if you book in warmer temps, there is a great outdoor pool- This is no Ritz (which I have stayed) but it more than met my needs. Did I mention you also park you car on premises for no additional charge!? We live right in Jersey, but really wanted feel of mini-vacation and we were both pleased! "Good location but noisy"
Couldn't fall asleep for 4 nights because the noise from the outsidie especially the people talking loud outside of the club directly across the street +honking from the taxis trying to get attention from the same group of people. "EXCELLENT STAFF"
We were treated so well the minute we arrived! The parking attendant went out of his way to make sure we knew exactly where we were going. There was a mix up with our room, that we had to call the desk to straighten out, so they put us up in a suite to make it up to us!! Which was totally not necessary, but very much appreciated! Everyone was so friendly […] and helpful the entire time. We left our car parked there after check out to do more sightseeing, at no charge! Very, very wonderful staff! "Great Price and location"

"Clean but not comfortable"
Stayed for one evening, the room was either too hot or too cold since there was no thermostat to control the temperature, our bed was as hard as a rock and was not very comfortable. Room was very clean but small, the worst part was the neighbouring rooms, one was up till 3am laughing and chatting the walls are that thin, there was a drunk patron that […] tried to enter our room at 4am, needless to say I didn't get much sleep. "Great stay"
Free parking: the best reason to stay here. Clean room, friendly staff. Only problem was that we had a room facing 42nd St. and it was very noisy. Earplugs did help. For the price you pay for this hotel with free parking (unlimited in and out) is too good to be true. We stayed there 2 two nights and saved lots of money and time. Rooms are specious for New York standards. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and had a microwave and a fridge in the room. We arrived early and there was no issue checking in. They also […] have early check-in 2 and late check outs at 12. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is traveling with family. Everything is close by, police station and the CVS is across the street where you can get everything. It's between 10th and 11th avenue on 42nd street, Time Square is 3 avenue blocks away. "good deal price and great location"
I chose these hotel because it's pretty close to TIME SQUARE, some blocks walking only, besides it's several free parking spots. Rooms are very OK depends your expectations, for me we want a comfortable place to rest after a long walking day, other may like more luxury but for the price you get it's very fare.
