"Days Inn Stay"
O all of the hotels/motels in Albany, GA that I have stayed in, this was the worst. Roaches were everywhere in the room!! I only stayed at the Days Inn because other hotels/motels were not available. I will not stay there again and I will not positively recommend that others do so.

Wireless internet was not available in the room and couldn't even get it to work at the front desk. There were no washcloths in the room. TV picture was not very good. Don't think I will stay there again.

"the Days Inn in Albany, GA was a bad experience"
My spouse went to get drinks for the drink machine and it did not work. The occupants on both sides of our room went in and out of their room all night which was fine but they slamed the doors. The occupants talled loud and played their music loud they showed no respect for other occupants. I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is in a run down area of town and not very nice. The room was nasty smelled old and the tub and bathroom were really bad!! The tub had mold growing on it. The breakfast area was filthy, the donuts were stale and the bagels were hard as a rock.
We found the hotel accommodations, staff, and the breakfast buffet to our liking. Also the wifi capability came in handy for our computer usage. In particular, we found the Staff very helpful and courteous. We also appreciated the quiet surroundings. "ITS NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED"
The room had an odor. The location was loud and busy. The bathroom was not clean thank God I brought bathroom cleaner with bleach. The front desk clerk was very mice which was the only good thing about my stay.

also i will never use hotels.com to book any of my future stays. Was unable to reach anyone in a timely manner. Would never call back when the phone got disconnected or help you to resolve your problem. Service was horrible with both.

This is a pretty bad hotel in a pretty bad neighborhood. The door of my hotel room stuck and took a lot of work to open every time. The front desk clerk seemed disinterested and the room was not in great shape.

In general, this hotel was a good deal, cost wise. It is very close to Albany State University - if that is your destination. The only problem I experienced was that the air conditioning unit in the room did not work. "One more reason to dislike Albany"
Check-in went smoothly. Person at the desk was pleasant and efficient. Lobby was clean. Anyone arriving to Albany around 10 pm will find the sidewalks rolled up except for a few seedy bars, so plan your errands accordingly. Room was clean, but had a unpleasant, strange, pungent odor. The remote to the TV did not work. The vending machine was sold out […] of everything but Pepsi, which I hate. Breakfast in the morning was mostly as expected except for the croutons they tried to pass as donuts. They were stale. OJ was pretty much orange water. But, for "free," it was fine. "Odor in Room"
The room had loud odor and the scent appeard to be in the carpet. The manager was notified and he gave us febreeze for a minute and asked for it back. The next day the odor came back.
Yes, we did have a problem with our carpets. However, we have installed brand new carpets in all of our rooms as of last week. Check us out during your next visit to Albany and we guarantee a better experience.

I'VE STAY AT MANY DAYS INN THROUGHT OUT THE STATE OF GEORGIA AND BY FAR THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.! THE REMOTE CONTROL DIDN'T WORK. I RAN THE AIR CONDITIONING FOR 6 HOURS AND IT WOULD COOL UNTIL THE ATTENDANT CLOSE THE BATHROOM DOOR. THE WALL WERE DIRTY. THE BATHROOM WAS WAS DIRTY. I HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY MY OWN LINEN AND TOWELS. "ok for money, not the best, but not horrible"
Not the best appearance outside and some other guests a touch questionable. The staff was very pleasant and the room itself was just fine for me and my business needs. Clean with internet, fridge, micro, comfortable bed. Worked for me and I wouldn' mind staying again. Not the ritz, but I'm on business.

"Quick convenient"
This hotel is located right in the heart of down town albany, right by Albany State University, anyone who is traveling and you need somewhere with cozy rooms for great price this is the hotel for you. in walking distance of attractions and food as well.

I went with my boyfriend for a family reunion to Albany. The room was clean and this was actually our second stay in this particular hotel. This is not a romance retreat type room, but it is an ok place to stay for its location. We will use this hotel again.

the hotel itself is fine. the staff is friendly. the complimentary breakfast left much to be desired but it was ok. I don't go for the free food. the problem was the guests. they were hollaring and screaming outside in the pool area (which happened to be right outside my room) until 5am both nights. the staff doesn't seem to care. they just let them […] do it. very rowdy individuals at the hotel and no respect for the others staying there. won't go again mainly for that. My room ws ready checked in this is an outstanding hotel great location also a great room for your money.
"Rooms too hot"
The rooms was extremely too hot with the air condition on. The room temperature was over 80 degrees. No relaxing because of the heat. I called the front desk and it did not help. We were hot all night long. I will have to think long and hard before selecting the Days Inn again.

Outside appearance was scary but overall the was good; the room was decent and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff assured me that I was safe.
