The main road to the Motel was under a heavy construction, so getting to the motel was a bit of a challenge, and the continental breakfast, was not what we expected.

The experience itself at this hotel was just OK. My biggest complaint was the heater was not working correctly so I woke up several times in the night very cold & realized that the heater suddenly started blowing cold air. The room was clean though. The price was cheap for a Saturday night, so I was kind of worried and it was better than I expected […] considering the price for downtown Salt Lake. There was really bad road construction, though, so that may have been why the price was so low. The hotel wasn't very courteous in offering a late check-out, almost every hotel I've been to is fine with a 1 hr free late check out but here they gave us 1 hr and seemed kind of irritated by it & then the maid tried to come in before it was even time to check out (after calling and receiving a late check out) so I was not extremely pleased by the service. We have stayed at Econo Lodges many times while on the road, but never again. We usually don't get maid service, bu there were no do not disturb signs, so we thought it was fine. We were out for the day and returned to our room to find a very sentimental stuffed animal was missing from our room. My wife left it on the bed and it was gone when we got […] back. We complained at the front desk. They called back to the room and asked if we checked everywhere. A couple of minutes later, maintenance or housekeeping (not sure) was at our door with the stuffed animal. It was wrapped up in a bag and there was no explanation as to where it was found. Front desk, housekeeping, nobody had an explanation of how it got out of our room. Very disturbing. Don't think anything else went missing, but we just got home and are still checking. Neighborhood wasn't the best either. Freeway is extremely close and there was major construction even preventing us from getting into the parking lot. Lisätietoja

Would have to say comparable to a Motel 6 and you get what you pay for. No blow dryer in room but available at front desk, so don't forgot to ask for it when you check in. Not in a great neighborhood. Surprisingly does have coffee in the room, and free wi-fi. Bed okay. Best thing about hotel is that it's across the street from the Red Iguana Mexican […] Place and it's the best Mexican food I have ever had! Gets SUPER crowded so go early! Lisätietoja

This was one of my best hotel stays in recent times. The reception staff is very friendly and helping. Although the location is somewhat away from the downtown, they provide hourly shuttle to downtown and even provide return pickup from downtown till late in the night. While leaving for the airport, their shuttle was not available, so they called a […] cab and paid for the cab themselves! That was just amazing. The breakfast room is a little too small. I've stayed at this hotel before and was not surprised to see little or no changes in the cleanliness and quality of the room. I believe this will be the last time I give this place a chance.
