Rooms quite spacious compared to others in Paris. Very helpful staff. Very close to galeries lafayette & metro station (literally 2 minutes walk to both). Restaurant just below the hotel and many cafes around.

While the location was great, close to restaurants, shopping and sight seeing, the room was disappointing. It was nothing like the photo online and it was extreamly hot (windows faced west and it got lots of afternoon sun). We slept with our windows open each night even though it was in the 40's at night because the a/c wasn't turned on for the season […] and it was so hot in the room. With or without the window open the hotel is on a busy street and it was very noisy at night, also you could hear the constant sound of the subway. The room size was very good for a European hotel and we had three of us stay in it comfortably. The staff was very friendly, but I would probably not stay here again. Lisätietoja

Standard Paris hotel - small and potentially noisy if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was quite good if a little overpriced. It's really all about location, if you want to be a few minutes' walk from Boulevard Haussman, and the Roissy bus from Charles de Gaulle airport, you won't do much better.

Maybe because I was tired, noise was not an issue though we stayed on the 2nd floor facing big street. Ideal location, friendly staff with reasonable price. I will stay here again next time :)

We were very pleased with the Excelsior. It was in a great location of Paris... easy access to Metro, restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. Yes, the metro runs close to the hotel, but you could barely notice it. The room was small but not as small as I had expected. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and try to provide personal service. However, in the evenings, there is usually only one person on duty who can't leave the desk. The room was basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. Our bathroom was recently renovated. We enjoyed the convenience of the location. The air conditioning worked well. The personel was nice and very polite. Location is great. I should say hotel is well maintained but my room was quite noisy, for two reasons. three windows on two noisy streets and morevoer, a very thin wall through which I could hear another client snoring and... cleaning his throat in the morning like he was in my room. Overall, we were quite happy with Excelsior Opera Hotel. Certainly it was an excellent location, close to the metro, the lovely Opera and the beautiful Galeries Lafayette store, with several cafes on the block, great for picking up breakfast (we didn't try the hotel breakfast as it is pricey). Each desk clerk we encountered was very friendly and helpful […] and conversed easily in English. The only disappointment was the cramped, ugly hallway on the way to our room and a very plain looking room. Bathroom was fine and bed was large and comfy, and there was AC available, so we were happy and I'd recommend the place to friends, just don't expect a pretty room! Lisätietoja

This is a nice hotel. Very good location and service. Good for Business or Holday travels. The rooms are a bit small. But confortable.

帰る日、当日朝、エレベーターが動かず、最悪。四階から一人で荷物を下ろして、二往復。イメージダウンでした。

ギャラリーラファイエットの隣といってもいいくらいの場所でとにかく便利。インターネットは無料だが、速くないです。

場所はとにかくいいです。地下鉄ラファイエット駅からすぐ。オペラ駅も数分で、パリ市内のどこにでもアクセスしやすいです。 ただし、ホテルは写真で見ると新しそうに見えますが、実際は貧相です。壁が一部はげていたり、コンセントがなかったり、エアコンの効きがよくなく、音もうるさいです。スーツケースを広げる余裕は十分にある広さでした。 フロントの方々は非常に優しく、紳士的でした。 場所重視で、そこそこ広い部屋を希望するのであればおすすめです。

オペラやデパートパリ・ギャラリー・ラファイエットに近くてとても便利な立地でした。パリに滞在するなら、お勧めです。

旅館非常靠近購物區,且地鐵一分及達便利行超優.雖房.間不大但小巧乾淨,浴室也潔白舒適,服務生總面帶微笑. 很 推薦給自由行及想購物朋友.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel, direkt bei Metro-Station, Oper und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer. Teppiche und Bettüberzüge ziemlich schmuddelig. Grösster Nachteil: wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Rue Lafayette hinaus. Es war kein Unterschied festzustellen zwischen offenen und geschlossenen Fenstern - es war sehr laut!

Excellent position for metro and easy to walk to most places of interest. Would stay there again and recommend it to friends. Reserve a room on the quiet side street rather than on Rue Lafayette.

This hotel is located near the best shopping places in Paris and 20 minutes walk from the Louvre. The rooms are small but cosy, all you need is there. The receptonists are very kind and helpful. Sometimes you slightly feel the vibrations of the metro running underneath the hotel, but it is not disturbing at all. The rooms and the neighborhood are quiet […] for such a central location. The elevator is small (as in most hotels of this price category in Paris). There are many great restaurants and bars next to the hotel, there is even a new pizzeria just next door. The breakfast is not included and rather expensive (as in every hotel in Paris), so get your baguettes in a nice café. We visit Paris several times per year and we return each time to this hotel. The hotel is very conveniently situated near the Opera and the Boulevard Haussmann. The hotel staff is very friendly, informed about the booking and well mannererd. the rooms are not very large, but enough for a city visit and the bed is comfortable and clean. the sound proofing of the room towards street noise and other floors is a bit on the limit, […] but usual for the age of the building.
