En varausta tehdessäni tiennyt, että Hotel Regina on yksi Wienin perinteisimmistä hotelleista. Tämä näkyi yleensä positiivisena eli palvelu oli kaikin puolin ystävällistä. Sinkkuhuone oli kohtuullisen kokoinen ja tv:stä löytyi jopa muutama englanninkielinen kanava. Kylppärissä oli epäkäytännöllinen istuma-amme, jonne nouseminen saattaa huonojalkaisille […] olla vaikeaa. Kerrankin huoneessa oli myös kunnon valaistus ja kaikki valot sai näppärästi sammutettua sängyn vierestä. Hotellin remontista on jo aikaa, ehkä päivitys nykyaikaan voisi lähivuosina olla tarpeellinen, mutta kodikasta "perinteistä" tyyliä en toivoisi menetettävän. Muutama sata metriä hotellista oli U-Bahn-asema ja ydinkeskustaan kävelikin alla puolessa tunnissa. Huonehintaan kuuluva aamiainen melko monipuolinen. Lisätietoja

Vanha, mutta erinomaisessa kunnossa oleva hotelli. Sijainti erittäin kätevä. Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Hyvä sijainti ja kaunis rakennus. Huone pieni ja huoneemme sijaitsi I kerroksessa , huone kadulle, ja liikenteen melu kuului liikaa. Valitimme siitä, tarjottiin toista huonetta, samoin I kerros, mutta siinä vain pieni ikkuna sisäpihella, emme vaihtaneet. Aamupala oli erittäin hyvä , monipuolinen ja palvelu oli ystävällinen.

Hotelli sijaitsi todella keskeisellä paikalla. Lähellä oli myös raitiovaunupysäkit ja metroasema. Hotellin palvelutaso todella hyvä. Ilmastointi huoneessa nyt kullanarvoinen kun lämpötila ulkona oli yli 30. Lisäksi syntymäpäivä huomioitiin ilman että siitä kukaan mitään mainitsi. Aamupala hyvä.

Olimme todella positiivisesti yllättyneitä kaikesta hotelliin liittyvästä. Aaamiainen oli runsas ja monipuolinen, sijainti todella hyvä ja henkilökunta ystävällinen ja palvelualtis. Jos vielä menemme Wieniin, niin varmasti tähän hotelliin.

Olimme joulunajan Wienissä ja hotelli Regina tarjosi vierailulle erinomaiset puitteet. Hotellin sijainti on loistava ja kulkuyhteydet mitä parhaimmat. Hotellin huoneet ovat jo varsin kuluneita, mutta korkea huonekorkeus ja miellyttävät maisemat korvaavat paljon. Henkilökunta erittäin avuliasta ja ystävällistä!

Hotelli sijaitsee hyvien yhtdyksien läheishhdessä. Viereiseltä Viereiseltä raitiovaunuphsäkiltä ääsee kaikkialle kaupunkiin

Edullinen hotelli loistavalla palvelulla. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällinen ja kohtelias. Hotellin soveltuu hyvin myös vauvaperheelle. Henkilökunta suhtautui vauvaan todella ystävällisesti ja lämmitti vauvanruoat nurinoitta. Huone oli tilava ja siisti. Huoneeseen mahtui hyvin lapsen varavuode, josta ei veloitettu erikseen. My stay at the Hotel Rgina was exxcellent. I arrived at 10:45 p.m. from the airport and the dining room kitchen closed at 11:00 p.m. The front desk man on duty checked my in quiclky and personnaly took my luggage up to my room so I could order dinner in the dining room before the kitchen closed. The room was exceptionally clean. The dining room features […] Austrian food and it is alwasy nice to try the native cuisine. The breakfast buffet included in the price of the room was excellent. I had dinner in the hotel dining roomo two nights and two other nights I ate at restaurants in sister hotels, one a fish restaurant on the tenth floor overlooking Vienna and one an Italian restaruant on the ground floor. Hotel Reginia is very convenient to everything in Vienna and the staff are always very helpful. I had a double room for single occumpancy which was very reasonably priced and the meals in the dinng room were also very reaslonalby pirced and attractively presented.This is the fifth time I have stayed at Hotel Regina and will stay there again on my next trip to Vienna. The hotel has a great location. Like many European hotels, rooms are cramped and expensive. The pictured 'grand rooms' with pianos, etc are misleading because only one-two rooms are like that in that category and most of them actually look poor. Carpets are threadbare, so is upholstery. Let's not confuse 'antiques' with trash. We heard several people […] complaining at the reception. So did we. Matresses were subpar. Breakfast is nice, so is its location. The Regina is located right in the heart of Vienna, next to the impressive Votivkirche and only a short walk away from downtown shops, sights, entertainment etc. Various types of transport (tram, subway) are also right outside the door, making this a well connected stay. I've been to this hotel before - on mistake last time. This time was on purpose. It is perfectly located in the middle of the town and close to public transportation to take yo anywhere. Great hotel for great value, close to the U2 line and Vienna University. 10 minute walk to Hofburg Palace 15 minutes to Stephansplatz. Nice little cafe attached that serves an above average continental breakfast until 10 in the morning and serves as a full service restaurant in the evenings (added bonus: surprisingly nice wine selection)

I've stayed several times in Hotel Regina and will continue to do so. It is located very near to the Schottentor underground station, which is very convenient. The hotel itself has a really nice old world feel, while the rooms are comfortable and the staff are friendly.

Hotel was older but charming. Rooms were small but very clean. Bed was quite firm with comfortable pillows. Breakfast (included) was very good and we made sure to get our fill before our days of sightseeing. We had a fabulous stay at the hotel Regina. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was delicious with hot and cold variety, location was close to trains and trolleys but not swarms of people and noise.

My only comment on the slightly negative side is that the bed mattresses are a little bit hard; however, I slept superbly.

The hotel is very 'old style' in décor and atmosphere. Well located in one of the major transport hubs of Vienna and easy walk to the centre of the city. The room was overheated and there was no comfortable space to work in it, though the lobby got plenty of space.

I was verty pleased with the entire experiance. The breakfast was great and I enjoyrd a meal in The Roth Cafe. The staff couldn't have been more accomadating. I look forward to staying with you on my next trip

The bellman Josef was fantastic. He helped me in many ways: to change my room that I did not really like to one I did & at no additional cost. He also was helpful in giving me directions on where to go to get a gift. Josef was very friendly & always spoke to me when he saw me, asked how things were, what he could do to help & made me feel very much […] at home. He is a keeper forever!! My room was very clean, comfortable bed & good bathroom. The only thing that I can say was not up to par was the TV. It was small. Also charging for in town calls for time is not great. I got a very large corner room, bright and comfortable, nice city views with two sides of large windows, extremely responsive and friendly staff. and there is too much to love Vienna, the stunning architecture, rich history, music, arts, food, gourmet coffee, beautiful scenaries, modest prices, friendly people... Only complaints are two minor ones, […] the big bed was two twin mattresses put together, understand this is European thing, but wish they had a big mattress pad to cover over the two mattresses so there isn't a gap in the middle of the bed that could become bigger if you move too much when sleeping. Second complaint is I was on the first floor, traffic noise is a little loud in the early morning when you may still be sleeping although that would not be a problem if you are not having your jet lag sleeps. Oh, one additional thing, one staff seemed to be somewhat ignorant and I think gave me the wrong info when he told me NaschMarket closed at 5. The food market really closes much later 9 or 11 at night. That made me miss out on the days I could have enjoyed food there rather than dining at the hotel, which is not great. The amenities are minimal. They are replacing the soap and body wash every other day. The hotel is old and could use a renovation.

The service was great, helpful staff, yummy breakfast, interesting history and close to The Ring.

Overall I'd rate the experience a 3.5; slightly above average. Hotel is in a great location. The room condition was fine, nothing special but clean and utilitarian. Service was always helpful. Only minor issue was the AC would cut out from time to time.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. However, having booked a double room we were disappointed to find two single beds made up separately and pushed together. They were not joined and moved apart very easily. There was no no air-conditioning, just an air circulation system and the weather was particularly hot. The staff were very obliging […] though and put a fan in our room which really helped. On the positive side, the breakfast spread was quite impressive and very tasty, our room and bathroom clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. WE ARRIVED ON THE WARMEST DAY IN AUGUST AND WERE ASSIGNED A ROOM WITHOUT AC. WHEN WE ASKED IF WE COULD SWITCH TO A ROOM WITH AC THE STAFF DID THIS QUICKLY. ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD IS WE MOVED SO QUICKLY FROM ONE ROOM TO ANOTHER WE LOST A PERSONAL ITEM THE HOTEL COULD NOT RECOVER.

What an amazing hotel, great location and the room was perfect size. The breakfast was delicious and for the price that we paid it was worth it. I will come back to this hotel next vacation to Vienna. =)

Our only problem was getting the air conditioned room we had asked for from Hotels.com. Not all rooms have A/C and it took a bit of toe to toe negotiation to get the room with A/C. One day our room was missed for maid service. Very good breakfast.

If you want to really feel the old imperial glory of Vienna then the Regina Hotel is the place to stay. It has a lovely colonial feel to it, especially notable if you breakfast al fresco out on the terrace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and in keeping with the fact that the hotel was originally an old palace. Really nice, old but nice fashion style, really good hotel and restaurant. It is very close to midtown. Beautiful sightseeing from the rooms. Only problem is the Tv, which are still old style and too small.

The hotel is near many attractions and is near by tram and bus stations. The staff is great and well informed. The building itself is great and located next to the Votivkirche. The internet connection was stable and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to all!

Lovely hotel in an historic building. Close to the city, parks and sights. Close to public transport but also walking distance to main city sights. Excellent service - very friendly and happy to offer advice and extra help (eg. bag storage, somewhere to have a shower before a late night flight out, help with IT problems, public transport, and tips on […] the best concerts etc). Comprehensive breakfast in a nice restaurant/courtyard space. If staying in summer, try to secure a room with air-conditioning. Room a little cramped. The hotel's AC system could not adequately cope with the abnormally hot days in Vienna this July.
