Coast Discovery Inn and Marina - Campbell River

What hotel charges $130 per night and does not have air conditioning ? Staff were pleasant and efficient.

The hotel room was not very big and the rating of the hotel was a little misleading. The surrounding area was also very limited for restaurants given there was no evening dining option in the hotel.

Hotel was OK. I stayed in the low rise, room was a bit on the small side, but it was quite clean, the staff was friendly, the complimentary breakfast was reasonable and it was close to my clients so I could sleep in longer.

The room was too warm and i couldn't work out how to cool it down. I stayed here for 2 nights in March on a business trip, and the Discovery Inn is a decent place to stay - it's quite central, and generally quiet (although the main road through town passes right by the hotel). Very convenient location and extremely comfortable bed. Their gym isn't worth going to. Found the wireless internet access in the bedroom to be a bit patchy at times. Sea walk right across the street, very friendly staff.

Ideal base to access tours at Campbell River. Comfortable, clean and good reception. There is not a lot in Campbell River so it is the best hotel of choice for price and value.

Our Hotel was right off the marina >We had a fantastic ocean view!!! We were next to great restraunts also a shopping plaza!!Would stay there again the staff was fantastic.The continental breakfast was substantial!!

The staff could not have been more helpful. I was provided with a room on the ground floor because of mobility issues that I have. Instead of two single beds, I enjoyed the luxury of a queen size! Comlimentary hot buffet breakfasts were provided at no additional cost and they were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Discovery Inn. It was convenient to shopping, the employees were all very friendly and accommodating, and the food in the restaurant was great. We'd certainly stay there again.

My wife and I rode into Campbell River that afternoon, our room was ready and clean. The view was great and the service was fine. We parked the bike where we could see it from the room. all in all it was a great place to stay.

This was a good stay. The front desk staff were friendly. The room was a bit outdated (still have tube televisions), but the room and bathroom were very clean.

The hotel is in a perfect location and the view is stunning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small but clean. Would love to stay there again.

The most important thing about a hotel for me is how clean it is. And this hotel was spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was quite good and the hot breakfast included in the price was quite nice with lots of choice. I will definitely choose this hotel if I am back in Campbell River.

Great hotel! Super breakfast. Lots of shopping nearby. Hotel stall are terrific. And their attention to a traveller's well being - fantastic. No qualms about returning to this location.

I have stayed at the Hotel several times on business and have never been disappointed with the staff at the front counter, restuarant or cleaning department. The room was very clean and just having fresh bottle water each night added a little class. Would recommend to anybody wanting to stay in the beautiful downtown area just off the ocean.

The Coast Discovery Inn overlooks a shopping mall parking lot (with the marina way off in the distance, past the mall and a busy road). It was noisy, even with the windows closed. We could also hear toilet/plumbing noises from other floors. Hotel mist sfeer. Inrichting oubollig, weinig bijzonders maar ook niets mis mee.

Man hat zwar u.a. einen Blick auf die Hauptstraße bzw. den Parkplatz des angrenzenden Einkaufszentrums, aber wenn man drüber hinweg schaut einen schönen Blick auf'+s Wasser und der benachbarten Insel. Schön sind die Zimmer im letzten (6sten) Stock den höheren Nummern.
