Kaupungin San Antonio sydämessä sijaitseva Marriott Plaza San Antonio on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Magik Theater -lastenteatteri ja Tower of the Americas. Lähistöllä ovat myös Alamo ja River Walk.

Our party of 3 stayed in a great room that was clean in smell and appearance. However the downstairs lobby area was going under construction at the time (3/17/12) which somewhat bothered me. Other than that, the room was great and the distance from the river walk was a very short walk (3-5 minutes). Check their parking rates .... Hope this helps

We had to change rooms because of "ants" in the bathroom, but we were changed quickly, this happened in the first hour, after that everything was okay.

"Scammed!"
We were told when we booked the room that we could smoke on the balcony and they charged us 350.00 for smoking in the room, we never even smoked in the room. There were people doing work in the room next door making noise all day long and spraying something that made us sick. We will never stay there again and the staff is rude!

I was very dissappointed to learn that after a long 4 hr drive arriving late, my room type was changed from 2-full beds to 1-king and a sofa sleeper for 4 adults. Atop of that, a parking fee was assessed, which was later waived. I have never been charged a fee for using a parking space at the hotel where i am staying in and have prepaid.

The hotel is very nice, clean and beautiful BUT I guess I failed to read the other reviews and what not but when you drive up to the hotel, they park your car for you (Valet Parking) for a total of 29.00 a day Or you can park it yourself for 24.00 a day. I just thought that it seemed as though they were nickle and diming you for it. To me, its a given […] that you will have a car and use their parking lot because you bought a room from them but I guess they need that to feed the exotic 2 or 3 birds they had outside towards the back. "Lighting of the San Antonio Riverwalk"
This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this hotel and in a different area each time. this time we were on the 5th floor and had a balcony overlooking the pool hottub. the hot tub felt great and the kids even ventured into the pool at 65 degrees outside! "San Antonio Marriott"
We stayed for the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride of 2011. Great location. However, we checked in late and out early. We did have a delay with room service which we requested between 6-6:15 am but had to call the front desk when we had not received it by 6:30. In all though, it was a pleasant few hours that we were there in the hotel.

Good hotel with a decent price. Great location, very near the river walk and shops. Clean, good service, comfortable and quiet room. Grounds are very pretty, more like a resort setting. The only thing I was unhappy with was $12.95 per day charge for WiFi in my room. They did have it free in the lobby, but that price is ridiculous.

I really liked staying here and wld suggest it to others, as long as one knows the following: it is resort-ish in that there are high parking charges, there is no microwave/fridge in the room, no vending machines and the on site restaurant is very nice/pricy. It is also not on the Riverwalk which is a decent walk away. I love to walk, so this was no […] problem for me, but it is not a block or two away in any sense of normal sized blocks. We walked to the river one day and the Alamo and had brunch at the Menger (wonderful). Then the next day we walked through the King William historic home district and had a wonderful meal at Rosiaro's. The hotel is in the middle of these areas. "Nice Alternative Just Off The Riverwalk"
Loved this hotel and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are very nice and clean, as a 5 star hotel. Even though it was just a couple of short blocks to The Riverwalk, it is well worth the big savings!

"Free Parking!!"
The hotel had a special going on where if you check in on Facebook you get free parking on Sat. Well, the clerk validated my parking for the whole stay (2nights). That saved us $46. It was literally 2 block from the riverwalk and all the staff were nice! The condition of the hotel was older but clean.

"Not sure would stay again"
Hotel location was ok but fairly dirty, pool looked like it was never cleaned, a dirty bowl, spoon and cup sat outside the room across from us for 4 days before being picked up. Bathroom floor might have been vacuumed but was dirty. Place really needed a face lift. Staff didn't bother to explain the turn down service, or concierge lounge which we evidently […] qualified for and didn't know it, nor did they explain how the breakfast - which was included worked. Maid service was reluctant to give ANY extra towels. They decided to paint the exterior of the entry way of the hotel on Sat am. the hotel is located a short walk to the river walk and right across the street from Hemisphere Park, also a short walk to the King William neighborhood with local eatieries that are a change of pace from the Riverwalk ones. there is also a bike exchange a block away at La Villita. "great place to stay and will be back"
The atmosphere of the hotel was unbelievable. All the employees were friendly, helpful, and gracious. The grounds were well kept and we had a blast staying there.

Very good location with exellent service. However, the sound-proof is very poor and you will hear the traffic noise all night. Hotel need to do something to make quiet rooms for the night. Just cannot go to sleep easily.

Good value hotel. Grounds have a Spanish theme which gives it some differentiation from other hotels in the area. Nice area. Like many US hotels there is no fridge in the room.

"Wonderful"
I booked with Hotels.com and saved a few bucks over booking direct. If you show the front desk clerk that you "check in" at their Hotel on facebook....you get free parking....that saved 23 dollars per night...within walking distance to Riverwalk and even closer to Tower of Americas....Loved it

"Marriott Plaza San Antonio - So/So"
Upon check in was informed by a snooty little front desk boy that there were no more king bed rooms available and getting one is only a "request" and not a "guarantee". Had to take two double beds. Beyond this and the price premium for the room, they charge you as a hotel guest way too much to park your own car. Tried to use the pool but was shewed […] out by the security guy saying they were ready to close it. Talked to the maintenance guy after this and he said the pool sometimes stays open late and it just depends on what the security guy feels like.
