We were upgraded to a family room which was very spacious and had two Juliette balconies looking out on to Rue D'Ecole. Very clean, well maintained rooms, welcoming, friendly reception staff, great location, close to lots of cosmopolitan restaurants (head for Odeon tube, around 10mins walk- recommend Gregorets (?) where they offer a fabulous 3 course […] meal for 13 euros. The hotel is even closer to some lovely, family-friendly bars (right around the back of Pantheon). Short walk to the amazing Parc de Luxemborg, even closer to the Seine (Pont Neuf) and Notre Dame. We hopped the metro one stop to Chatelet (from Cluny Sorbonne) and caught the RER straight to Disney: 45mins door to door. The breakfast is really excellent too: lots of fresh croissants and French bread, fresh coffee and juice and very friendly staff. It's a small hotel where you feel comfortable and at ease. The only slight grumble would be noise from the street early in the morning but you get used to it!! Would definitely go back on another visit to the city. Lisätietoja

Staff was extremely helpful. Free wi-fi and computers were very surprising in modern western Europe. We would stay there again.

Good location, a block away from the Pantheon, on the left banc, easy walk to City Hall and Notre Dame.The room was tiny, 60% occupied by the double bed. It was quiet however. No food, or even coffee in the hotel, but there is a neat coffe shop across the street, really a 2 star not a 3 star. The worst part was, that when I checked out, the clerk asked […] me for my credit card to charge the room, even though it was prepaid via Hotels.com, and I had the receipt, which I already presented at check-in. I showed the receipt again ( same guy) , and at first he argued that it was not a receipt. But after I continued to insist, he gave up fairly easily, especially when i suggested that he contact Hotels.com. Fortunately, I never gave him my credit card - he muttered something about maybe Hotels.com put it on "another card". Beware of this sort of stuff. I recommend to take this hotel off the list, there are manty others in rthat area. Another comment: if you order a taxi, they start running the meter when they leave from wherever they may be to come pick you up. Lisätietoja

All in all a very pleasant stay, reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good, plentiful and all food was fresh and well presented. The lift was very small, but then this appears to be the case with most Parisienne hotels. If you're looking for a well located clean and homely Hotel, this is the place for you. The only reason I gave only 4 stars to the "comfort" ranking is because the hotel could use a little better sound-proofing. There was more sound-bleed from adjoining rooms than I would have liked. Overall however, this hotel is wonderful and I can't say enough about the staff who were so pleasant, accomodating and spoke excellent english, and graciously […] tolerated my poor attempts to speak French to them! The hotel is in a fabulous location - close to metro, on a bus line that will take you to any of the major sites and easily walking distance to many of the major sites/areas. While it's not a luxury hotel by any means, it exceeded my expecations for what I would consider a budget priced hotel. Immaculate room and property, and lovely balconies on the street side rooms with double french doors. My only complaint is the internet - It was crucial that I was able to maintain contact with clients while I was there and the internet was often overwhelmed by the traffic from hotel guests making it exceedingly slow and at times completely unavailable. I chose this hotel in large part because it offered in-room wifi access (something most hotels in Paris still do not offer), and unfortunately this service did not adequately meet my needs. I would recommend to the hotel that they woudl be well served by investing in whatever upgrades are necessary to ensure that all guests can access wifi consistently at all times. Although I did not take advantage of it, the hotel offers a continental style buffet breakfast, another nice perk many hotels do not provide. the hotel is on rue des ecoles just above the maubert market and metro stop. friendly staff. breakfast was included in our stay. rooms of various sizes--the one i got this time was somewhat small but still bigger than some.

The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was clean and functional. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The room amenities were limited: no kettle, no cups, no cutlery; nothing in the mini-fridge; no stationery and no safe. I have stayed in other 3-star hotels in the same area, for the same price, if not less, at more opportune times of the year (near Christmas), which offered a better quality of room. This is a reasonable hotel with friendly staff, but it is a bit shabby in places and slightly under-maintained (my room had a wobbly window catch, dodgy toilet flush, and a shower door that didn't seal properly, leading to leakage). I was very disappointed with our room this time. I had stayed at the Claude Be rnard many times before and found it to be very comfortable. The main problem was the lack of heat. I t was extremely cold in Paris when we arrived on May 12th and I believe the hotel had turned off the heat to the rooms. Daytime outdoor temps were low 50's. I kept adjusting […] the thermostat to no avail and the second night they did give me a space heater which hellped a lot but it had no thermostat so it had to be adjusted during the night or it would get too warm. I overheard a lady complaining about her cold room and she was getting the same run around that I got at first. The room was very clean and the bathroom had recently been remodelled. The staff was very kind to boil water for tea when my sister felt sick one day and they did give us glasses for our bottle of wine. Lisätietoja

På påsklovet bodde jag på Claude Bernard med min syster och 10-åriga dotter och trivdes utmärkt i vårt lilla men mysiga rum högst upp! Pytteliten hiss så inget att rekommendera för personer som inte klarar av att gå i trappor dock. Perfekt läge (Quartier Latin), nära till mysiga gränder med restauranger och butiker. Dessutom gångavstånd till Notre dame, […] Marais och Les halles. Enkel men god frukost - ljuvliga croissanter - ingick och fri WiFi. Personalen var både vänlig och engelsktalande. Bor gärna där igen! Mycket vänlig och bra personal. Vi fick ett litet rum högst upp som vi inte gillade. När vi påtalade detta fick vi byta till ett betydligt bättre, utifrån de behov vi har. Bar saknade vi, fast det stod att det skulle finnas. När vi påtalade det så pekade receptionisten på en Cola-automat. Knappast vår uppfattning om barhäng, precis. L'albergo è vicino a vari locali del quartiere latino, vicino anche alla metropolitana. La stanza era confortevole: noi eravamo 4 amici e non abbiamo avuto problemi di spazi. Il bagno era più che buono. Lo consiglio per chi vuole essere in un quartiere tranquillo e nello stesso tempo vicino alla Parigi del famoso quartiere latino.
