Arrived to find out that the hotel was sold out, walked right up, quickly received on room key, used car valet service and went to the room. The room was awesome!! Clean, and spacious. We were three blocks from the concert hall!! Would totally recommend the Wyndham and stay there again. Great service at the front desk and hotel bar.

Was charged twice for the room. Still hasn't been resolved. Desk clerk was not friendly nor helpful.

We stayed here for one night because we were attending a show in the Playhouse Square area. The location of the hotel is perfect for that -- just a block or so away from the theatre. The concierge (um ... or front desk staff, functioning as concierge) was quite helpful in finding us a nearby restaurant to suit our needs, and the hotel itself is clean […] and in good condition (appears to have been renovated fairly recently). My complaints are minor, but here they are: - Towel service is inadequate. And I'm being diplomatic in merely saying "inadequate." We had just one bath towel each for the two of us, and those towels are undersized for their intended function and not of especially good quality. Trying to fully dry myself (I'm a big guy) was a challenge with such a small towel. My companion said she saw something about additional towels being available for members of some club or program or something -- ridiculous. This is, what, a three-and-a-half-star hotel? There should be plentiful, large, plush towels, and more readily available upon request. Don't skimp on the towels! If this is how Wyndham does towels in all their hotels, I think I'll steer clear of them in the future. - The self-parking lot is a small, crowded surface lot also used for theatre parking. We arrived in the afternoon so there were spaces available, but I can't imagine that would have been the case if we'd arrived at 8 p.m. They do have a handful of spaces set aside specifically for hotel guests, but once those are taken, what do they do? When we returned to fetch our car the next morning, cars were lined up wherever they could put them, making it difficult to back out of our space. Also, this lot is a couple of blocks from the hotel -- not a long walk, but worth noting. We did not avail ourselves of other hotel amenities -- the restaurant, fitness room, pool, etc. -- but overall it seemed like a decent place, clean, well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic place, the customer service and well trained staff was on the ball. The building facilities are deceptive, the elevators look a little worn and the decor was okay, but got to my room and it was really nice. They have a great little bar and restaurant that is so well run. I had the lunch buffet, which I am not a buffet person, and it was fresh […] and light. This was quite simply an awesome stay. I had never stayed in Downtown Cleveland before in my life and this was just the best getaway for us. The room was awesome, the staff was awesome, and I even got a call from the staff up to my room shortly after, making sure the room was okay. Couple that with some of the best restaurants in the world right here […] in Cleveland and with the new casino coming in May it's no wonder this hotel is sold out for at least the next few months after April. :D TEN STARS!!! :) Lisätietoja

We used this hotel for a stop over point for a cross country trip to DC. Stayed on the way out and rebooked for the way back. The hotel is easy to find and the valet parking was only $20/night. Location was close to a number of downtown restaurants (10 minute or less walk). Staff was quite friendly and responsive. Room was very comfortable and the shower […] was memorable. Short drive to Rock and Roll hall of fame and lakefront. Close to theater district. We ate appetizers in the bar - nice happy hour with half price appetizers. Lisätietoja

Enjoyed my stay here - food in restaurant was very good - room was extremely comfortable and the service thoroughout was attentive and friendly.

This hotel is beat up and rundown. The floors everywhere are stained and dirty. My bathroom had mold and the beds looked used and dirty. Ordered food and it was disgusting. I will never use this hotel chain again. Supposed to stay two nights and left after one. So upset I upgraded to ritz Carlton. It was a thousand times nicer and better

Great location. Close to all the hot spots on New Years Eve. Great staff there also.

We had a pretty bad experience. The pool was shut down due to "maintenance" issues, and the showers were ice cold. Location is fine and close to Progressive Field.

This is a lovely hotel in a prime location in downtown Cleveland. I would recommend it highly to a friend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Cleveland. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and courtious. The only thing missing was a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Stayed here prior to a job interview at cleveland clinic and was very happy with the hotel. Rooms had comfortable bed, were clean, and a great location downtown. It was extremely convenient to getting to the clinic.

The hotel was very well kept and the bed was comfortable. Things were clean and for the most part well-maintained. The hotel shuttle was a great help as it took me to my business (and pleasure) destinations within 5 miles. The only catch to the shuttle is the need to schedule in advance and the availability. The shuttle was not available for a block […] of 2 hours right in the morning (when most people would be taking advantage of it to get to business functions) due to meeting the Megabus. The only other feature that I found disatisfactory was the limited menu the restaurant offered. While the food was excellent, it was very expensive and difficult to adhere to a limited business budget, as it really only offered a few soups and salads besides the expensive entrees. There was really no in-between, such as sandwiches, smaller entrees, etc. There were not many restaurants within a short walking distance during the cold weather and while the shuttle would take you to restaurants nearby, it was inconvenient if you wanted to eat quickly and return to your room. On the plus side, the staff in the entire hotel was VERY friendly and helpful, from the restaurant to the front desk to the shuttle. This hotel's staff, service, and comfort would make it a definite stay again despite the minor dissatisfactions I had. Lisätietoja

On a recent stay, I was kept awake until 1:30 in the morning by the party taking place in the next room as well as across the hall - very thin walls. Property shows its age.

Convenient location for the Playhouse Square. Great room and amenities.

Very nice. Beds excellent , better than 95% of country. Good bar and dining. Exercise room needs purge.: elliptical and bikes not work well, treadmill is also below standard.

The Wyndham was a good hotel, nothing particularly to recommend it, but no problems with the hotel either. My only possible complaint was that the room was kind of dark, especially the bathroom. They either need more or better lights, or both. It was convenient to downtown, a good deal, and the room was clean and comfortable.

It was very nice to be able to walk in such a big city and be so close to the baseball and football stadium.

The Wyndam is very conveniently located and the stafff were very friendly and helpful. The negatives were that the room had a funny smell which gradually faded as the air circulated more, the sink leaked and parking was $12 (2 blocks away), which were weren't told about until check out. I enjoyed my stay over labor day weekend, at the Wyndham. Very close to where I needed to be and if I needed anything, Tower City mall is less than .6 of a mile from hotel. A CVS even closer, 2 blocks, I believe. The food was excellent in the restaurant. I had dinner and breakfast. Quiet location. Lovely hotel in a great location - lots of great bars and restaurants within a pleasant walking distance. Desk staff were extremely helpful, and the courtesy shuttle was a real bonus. Would definitely reccomend and would return.

Great location to Progressive Field

Close to most downtown attractions. New and in good shape. Valet parking slightly expensive for downtown Cleveland, but most area parking lots and ramps do not allow overnight parking anyways. There is a ramp a couple blocks away that would save you $8.

I thought it would a lot nicer. Old hotel. Look somewhat run down. Service was iffy, but they had two wedding going on and they seemed understaffed

The hotel was in walking distance to multiple city attractions. The check in and check out was very effortless. The only bad thing was that the air conditioning in the room stayed on all night which made the room kind of cold.

The location for the Wyndham was amazing. We had never been to Cleveland and we were in the middle of everything. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We did have a couple issues in the room like the phone not working but everything was resolved quickly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit Cleveland.

I went there for an Indian's game. The front desk was extremely rude and treated us horribly. Then we got up to the room and it was TINY and had a horrible odor. I would never stay at this hotel again and will look for another hotel to stay at for future visits to Cleveland.

Great location, nice hotel with spacious rooms and a big window. Only problem was that there didn't seem to be any ventilation in the bathroom and the shower/tub drained very slowly. Otherwise a fine place to stay.

I found everything at the Wyndam just fine with the exception of the checkin time. We were suppose to be able to have our room at 4:00 p.m. and we arrived close to 4:45 p.m. The housekeeping department did NOT have a room ready. We were told it would be at least another 1/2 hour for our room but other rooms were avaiable for other people. Either they […] were understaffed for the weekend or they were just slow. Our room was booled for 4 people but had only enough towels for 3 people. Called housekeeping for more towel on Sunday morning but they never arrived. Lisätietoja

We really enjoyed staying at the Wyndham Cleveland Hotel. This was a beautiful hotel - great location. Is located just blocks from the Indians stadium and great pubs. Felt very safe walking the streets after the game - back to our room. Not a lot of family friendly places to pick up something quick to eat...ordered in pizza (which was great!). Make […] sure to find out what floor to park in the parkade as it is not clearly marked which areas are for hotel patrons. Overall - a great experience. Would definetly stay there again!! Lisätietoja
