"Very Nice"
The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The pool and hottub are a nice plus with excellent hours. The breakfast is amazing, the best I've ever had at any resort that wasn't a Caribbean resort.

"Starved Rock Overnight"
It was a nice place to stay for an overnight visit to Starved Rock. Nice people, nice little indoor pool with hot tub, and we had a nice dinner just down the street at Monte's on the river. My 12 year old son loved the automated pancake maker for breakfast.

Arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and checked in with no problems. The front desk staff were very nice. When I got to my room it was small but manageable. The room did have a bit of a smell too it and the bathroom where the shower was seemed to have a humming noise coming from it that would seem to come and go. I thought nothing of it and didn't […] mention it to no one. The hotel was not very well situated near anything in terms of dining or ammenties. There was the Wal-mart close by and the hotel was beside a trucking company where they would park their trucks in the guest parking lot. It was ok but it wasn't the best. "Above and Beyond"
Woman at front desk was friendly and when I'd told her I had slipped on the ice earlier in the day she offered me an extra bag for ice for my sprained wrist. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast with friendly and clean breakfast area.

Their pet policy was not very well explained on the hotels.com website. Pets are welcome, but only if you are willing to stay in a smoking room. We wanted a non-smoking room, and had to finagle our way to getting a non-smoking room. Had we been aware of this, we either would have left the small dog at home or stayed at a different hotel.

"Great Stay"
Great stay except that we chose to eat at a Chinese Restaurant that was horrible. Should have gone to Hank's Farm (I think that is what it is called). It looked so much better!! Beds were comfortable, temperature in the room was good and easy to control but the breakfast area is too small and the orange juice was horrible.
"right off the highway- nice for the price"
Very easy access from the highway. Several locations to eat nearby, nothing fancy, but all less than one exit away. It's right in the same area as a few other hotels and a couple of stores as well. The lady at the front desk provided me a map and a spot-on recommendation for a local spot. Pool was nice, and I was there in January - water was very warm, […] and it was quiet, and the water was warm. Music also playing in the pool area. Cookies were provided at the front desk - nice touch. The free breakfast was decent. Had hot options - egg thing and sausage, as well as some cinnamon buns and assorted breads, juice, coffee. Nothing SUPER, but definitely good, and hot. Room was nothing remarkable. Just warm, clean, comfortable. I was on the second floor and there were no light excluding shades, but the lighter, gauzier curtains stopped viewing in. Shower was nice- good and hot with good pressure. "Nicely surprised"
The room was comfortably furnished. Very comfortable beds. Nice shower with great towels. Nice sized flat screen TV. Hot breakfast that was better than most. Would definitely stay there again.
