Super 8 Orlando Airport South Area - Orlando

The area is awful and there appeared to be several room occupants who required only part of the night. Water pressure didn't exist and no sleep was had!

check in: hostess was fabulous They do NOT have wifi...they have the internet. you need to 'borrow' a cord. 1rst room was missing the outlet. At first it was, I dont know what to tell you...but being in a room for 2 days w/o internet access and we had JUST checked in wasnt acceptable. They moved me to the room next door. CABLE reception HORRIBLE. The […] tub needs to be replaced, the bottom of it was BROWN. we wore flip flops into it. Beds were comfy but the air conditioning would turn on for 60 sec then turn off for 15 min ...it did that AALL day and night...extremely aggravating. All in all i would say this hotel is in MAJOR need of an upgrade considering it is SO close to the airport and it sits near a major mall and a MAJOR intersection and hiway. I will NEVER stay here again, and as hotels go im usually easy to please being that i love to travel but do it economically. You can give me clean room, wi-fi, cable and a comfy bed and im good. this wasnt it. they should be charging NO MORE THAN 40 for a room. period. Lisätietoja

Our room had several stains and marks on the carpets and walls, the beds were very uncomfortable, but worst of all there was a cockroach infestation. The experience was the worst of any place I have ever stayed. The staff were nice, but slow to respond. The pool was well kept.

I should have left but was too tired to go search for another. It was just plaint disgusting.

I went on a small vacation with my fiance to Universal Studios. I did not want to spen much so we choose this hotel. It was old, dirty, smelled and the outer apperence was horriable. They charged my card without my knowledge, that they say will be given back to me when i checked out. I was so dissatisfied with the hotel that i checked out after only […] being there for 1 hour. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I personally think that hotels.com should remove this listing from there option list. Great site near the interstate and not to far from Orlando's main attractions. However, the rooms, lobby, hallway, elevators, etc were not well cleaned. There were small bugs in the room, which made the stay unpleasant.

The fire alarm keep going on every half an hour for my entire stay. Night manager wasn't that professional when I ask about the fire alarm issue, he just replay the people who can take care of it live out of town. I could not get rest at all. Never again, next time I will choose more carefully, maybe paying $10.00 extra will get me to an upgrade services […] and better facility. Something to think about. Lisätietoja

Staying at this hotel was a matter of finance and convenience. While I have stayed at other hotels that were in much better condition and cleaner for the same or even less cost, they were in very different locales. This was the most affordable place to stay close by to where I needed to be for family and be near Seaworld. It is next to the intersection […] of 2 highways, so one can hear the traffic, but you wouldn't choose to stay here to begin with understanding it's location, being very convenient to the Hwy. The continental breakfast was fairly limited but adequate. Unfortunately, the room was very crowded/cramped (though understandably busiest time of yr - last wk of Dec). While no microwave was in the room, there was one readily available in the lobby. The fridge was a respectable standard 5+ cu ft model and clean. The wooden furniture was clean. However, the bedspread, rugs in rms/halls & room cloth chairs and comfortors were obviously very old, worn, & stained (not dirty per se but past their shelf life so to speak for a Super 8, most others being in much better condition. There was no counter in the bathroom though it was very large (old commercial "school-like" pedestal sink. Though a non-smoking room, the bathrm smelled like people had smoked in their. Te lighting was drab as well. O.K. Still, overall, it is a matter of perspective. The staff were very friendly and helpful and readily willing to assist you if needed it seemed. If $ is a factor and convenience for being where it is, one could certainly stay in a much worse place. Despite a mixed crowd, I didn't feel unsafe. The bed itself was comfortable. It suited my purpose and needs, even having my young son with me. Overall, it was practical but it does needs a lot of updating. I stayed for three nights for our recent visit to Disney, on the 1st night the A/C suddenly off leaving us in the cold and burning smell from the A/C, we have to move to new room and found no refrigerator to the new room. There was no towels for 4 persons, tissue box was empty, although the room was for 4 occupants. Has to go to front desk to collect […] supplies as the front desk person was alone and he said he can't leave the desk. On the third day, when we returned from Disney at night we couldn't enter our room and the front-desk person told me he doesn't know anything and he is a part-timer. He told us to talk in the morning with the manager. He renewed the key to enter our room. When we enter our room, we couldn't find our luggage. After talking to front-desk, the person told us he has some luggage in the office and told us to verify. We found our luggage was piled in a garbage bag, thrown away out food, toothpaste, body wash, collected shells from the beach. In the morning, the front-desk told us the Manager will not show up that day and don't know when he will be in the office. After calling to front-desk several time finally we found someone who talked to us and explained they had miscommunication between the cleaner and the front-desk reservation, they didn't update my third day stay. this was the worse hotel i have EVER stayed in in my life. it was dirtythe matress was old and HEAVILY STAINED roaches were crawling on my suitcases. .everything in the room was worn out like carpet bathtub was rusted and dirty there was pubic hair in the sheets and one of the sheets did not look like it had been laundered. one of the sheet was so old […] you could see through it . the bed frame did not fit the mattress so the metal tuck out so much my wife hit her leg on it.. The guy at the counter was nice. The room was extremely filthy. The lights were blown out. The water had a brownish hue. The sheets were stained and the comforter has cigarette burns. The air conditioner didn't work so it was very muggy in the room. There was a caulk gun left on the counter. The tables had an unknown filmy substance. The floor ( 20 […] % carpet) was moldy. I was just waiting for bugs to come crawling out of every crevice... I will never stay there again and will never recommend to anyone... Not even for a place to rest for a couple of hours.... We flew into Orlando late at night and didn't check into until midnight. The hotel was easy to find and the staff was nice. Our room was on the third floor to the right of the elevator, but not paying attention we took a left. He told us there was some construction going on, but failed to mention to cockroaches. We finally made it to our room, which […] was better that we thought after seeing the "smoking" side of the floor. The sink leaked, the shower sounded like a boiling tea pot, the carpet was sticky, and our bed felt like just the box springs with sheets on it. I was thankful we didn't see cockroaches in our room. We left at 9:30 and missed breakfast, but I was too tired to eat. Again the staff was great. The room was cheap and we got what we paid for. Would we stay again? Probably not. The staff was friendly but the vending machine were broken and the first room they gave me had not been cleaned and the bed was not made. there was even trash on the floor. The lady at the desk gave me another room which the bed had been made but the sheets were still dirty with hair and stains so I slept on top of the covers sinnce I had been traveling […] for 24 hours to get there and had to have some sleep before my meeting. It was an ok hotel at the price and the room was ok. However, we had to go to the lobby to connect to the wireless internet.

The hotel was ok, the staff was great, but the beds were very uncomfortable, very hard!

This place is not recommended for families or women traveling on thier own. The neighborhood is iffy (with an appartment building with lots of questionable traffic running at all hours). The location is great, the bed and TV worked and that is what I look for in a hotel.

First; let me say that it is not near the airport-it is at least a 20 minute drive away. As for the motel, it is in dire need of an overhaul. Our room faced Landstreet Rd. and the traffic seemed as if it was in the room. It made conversation difficult and sleep impossible. You could see daylight through the door frame. The airconditioner was old and […] the vents were broken. It rattled and roared every time the compressor kicked in. The mattress was wore out and had a pronounced valley where you laid. One of the reading lamps by the bed wouldn't work (we found it was unplugged). The refrigerator had pools of water in the bottom. The bathtub was stained. All in all a very poor experience. Woman in room next door screamed and yelled at management for nearly 1/2 hour outside my door making it hard to relax and sleep. Not a great experience but was too tired to complain about it.

good pricing, happy with clean room unhappy to leave before the breakfast. We're sure it too was good.

My girlfriend and I needed an inexpensive place to stay near the airport. This fit the bill. The first room we checked into had a broken a/c unit, which was not acceptable in May in FL. But we were promptly given a different room with a fully functioning a/c. The staff was overall extremely helpful. The funniest part of our stay was the crazy man […] at the pool who pulled his genitalia out and was drinking a tall can of beer. I say funny, but really it was sad and it could have gotten seriously ugly, but again, the management handled that situation well. Also, the hotel was convenient to the freeway, allowing us to drive to the local mall (which is very large) where there was a multitude of dining options from fastfood to Cheesecake Factory, Brio and P.F.
