"the room had fleas and ticks"
The bed sheets were yellowish, I found ticks under the bed, the only thing nice is they had breakfast cause near the hotel you couldn't find a place to eat, this hotel its not for staying more than 2 or 3 days to tell you the truth.

Hotel is OK, first floor smoking allowed--big turnoff. Would be better if smoke-free. Hotel is OK for a budget hotel, location was the big factor.

"Don't stay here"
The room was terrible, the carpet was dirty and needed removed. There was hair in the shower before my wife or I showered and the heat in the room was set too low. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I was really disapointed in the condition of this hotel.
Polite front desk attendant, good free coffee and reasonable free breakfast. Draw backs were that the carpet and some upholstery were stained.

"DAYS INN SHREWSBURY"
FIRST OF ALL THE ROOM ABSOLUTELY REEKED OF SMOKE. The toilet whistled on and off constantly. The ventilation system was substandard- Noisy and inefficient. it was in the upper 50's to low 60's and could not get the room cool enough. I feel that the room we were given,because it was a "Third Party" booking was their bottom of the barrell. Thae carpeting […] was stained and needed to be replaced. "Everything went wrong"
I got there and they didnt have my reservations.I had to wait 45 min while i called hotels.com and get it figured out.after the call the guy at desk made it seem like my fault and was rude.He said i was lucky he was giving me a room.When i finally did get to my room i realised the air conditioner was broken and when i called he said he couldnt do anything […] about it.Next morning when i returned the key card the new guy at desk said u must be the guy with the free room. We had a nice stay. Even though we were near a highway, with constant traffic, the noise level inside was quiet. It was convenient, and easily accessable to the places we needed to be. The people were friendly and very courteous. Thank you for a great stay.

Our room had two double beds. One beds was so broken down that they had put a four inch thick piece of foam between the box spring and the mattress. The bed spread on the other bed was full of cigarette burns. The carpet in the room was filthy and stunk. The bottomes of my daughter's white socks were completely dirty in just a short time. I stayed for one night and slept in until 9:30am. I have not done that since high school, which was over 20 years ago. Very comfortable, clean and quiet.

"Condition of my room"
The room was very musky, smelled bad. Bed was broke, not confortable at all. Carpet was old, which was why the room smelled so bas I guess. The only reason I styed put was due to the weather conditions, not knowing if other hotels were full. The place is for sale, hope new owners will make major inprovements to make it a healthy place to stay,

"Adequate"
The hotel is a decent option if you need to stay in the area and budget is a priority. Having Wifi is a plus. The breakfast is nothing special. Cereal and bagels, etc. At least it is something to start the day. Staff was fine but not overly friendly.

This is a very old hotel. The hallways are very dim. If they would just change the lighting it would look more cheerful. I would stay here again for a short trip or overngiht. "Nice Room Once you get past the Hall"
I was a little concerned when I was checking in but thought it is only for 2 nights and did not plan to spend much time in the room but we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the room door. I didn't spent a lot so I didn't expect a lot. Wanted a place to lay down my little headie at the end of a long, long day. Rooms were okay. "worst hotel I've ever stayed at"
This place should be closed! Perhaps undergoing remodeling...parking lot was being redone but no signs to direct new guest as to where to sign in. Allows smoking in rooms on first floor.....smelled like a pot party every day. The most uncomfortable bed EVER....needed to go buy an air mattress just to be able to sleep. "Surprisingly good."
Not one of the premium motel chains but we were pleasantly surprised. The only disadvantage was the barrier across the dual carriageway and it was necessary to drive some distance to reach the other side of the road!

Hotel accommodations were great for the price. The only issue that I had was the way the outside of the hotel looked. When I pulled into the parking lot I thought the hotel was closed by the way it looked but inside was great. The customer service was excellent.

Room was hot when we got there. Breakfast room was not at all family friendly. Tables for 2 & small area. People were online wtg to get to the area. Not usual fanfare of food items & the area was shared with the lobby area. Needs a more inviting area for families to eat breakfast. Waffle iron was greatly missed by my family.

Good location for convenience of travel to Worcester, Framingham, and other central Mass areas, but the hotel is just average. Not bad, but average. Price is decent, so didn't expect any more than average anyways, so it is fine for those looking for a low-priced place to stay near Worcester.

I have used Day's inn across the country, This one is extreamly bad, The A/c was mercury based, this will switch off and it will wait till the room temp goes down and starts again, but it was doing too much it will wait to the room temp goes down till we all get sweat and get up, My wife, my mom and myself and get up in the midnight and wait till the […] a/c is on and we go back to sleep. The frst day we did this and during the a/c of even the fan will not run, and the embarising situation was, we could hear the next door couple's private sound. tht was totally embarissing and even I complained about to the hotel guy at the midnight he(old man) could't understand and kept repeating what he was asked to repeat. Next day what I did I pulled the extra bed which I got near the a/c and kept switching the heater on when ever the a/c goes off and get the temperature on a little bit and turn on a/c immediately the whole night without sleeping. Bathroom too small and not enough shelf space. Car directions should include turn-around areaS AT rT. 140 AND rT. 20 BECAUSE OF THE LONG DIVIDER SEPARATING THE LANES.
