I was in the hotel due to not a lot of rooms available in the area. The manager was extremely helpful settling final billing. There was a group of high school kids in the hotel and it highlighted the type contruction and lack of sound proofing in the building. They didn't offer reward points when booking thru Hotels.com. Also, they no longer offer the USA Today, which they always have in the past. Otherwise, things were fine.

The carpet on the stairs is in dire need of cleaning. Remodeling looks completed except for the cleaning or updating of the stairway carpet. When the carpets leading up to the room are that bad it makes one wonder about the cleanliness of the hotel rooms.

The non-smoking rooms are right beside smoking rooms. The smel permeated the hallway. Upon checkin we were given a room that was occupied - very embarassing.

I got a good price on this hotel. I walked to a supermarket and to Green Mill to pick up a pizza. The rooms were unrenovated, but clean. The hot tub had a problem with chlorine, causing both pools to close for a time for maintenence.
For the price the pool was strong with chemicals, the pool had no heater it was cold, the rooms were small, and had no refrigerator or microwave. This is something I would expect out of a Motel Six.
Soft beds and pillows. Smoke free room but the hallway and room still smelled of smoke.

Actually, the staff tried to please, but they were not well trained for the job. Size of room is big enough, with two queen size beds, but beds were not neatly made. The bathroom is very small and there was no fridge. Area was quiet and the hotel was quiet. Self-serve breakfast facilities were very adequate. "Needs Fumigating"
Hotel proudly displayed "Smoke Free", but the smoke-free status was very recent and the entire hotel needed major fumigating.
