Huoneet on tässä hotellissa todella tilavat. Iso varsinainen hotellihuone ja lisäsi lisähuone matkatavaroille jossa myös kaapistot ja iso kirjoituspöytä tuoleineen, kahvinkeitin ja kahvit. Kylpyhuone oli myös tilava. Hotellin sijainti oli kiva Diversy Pkwy/Clark St. kulmassa. Ympäristössä paljon ravintoloita, kahviloita, Pubeja ja jokunen yökerhokin […] sekä elokuvateattereita. Antiikki- ja muotiliikeita ja paljon muuta kivaa. Eläväinen, mutta turvallinen alue yötä päivää. Downtown tuskin yhtä vilkas illalla. Hyvät yhteydet busseilla ja junalla joka suuntaan. We had a great stay. The location was perfect. Almost anything you could possibly want within walking distance. The room was comfortable and cleaner than other more expensive hotels I've stayed at. The other reviews spoke about noise but we did not hear anything. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn while visiting our son in Chicago. It was conveniently located to his apartment and provided easy access to all public transportation needs. While the room was small (it's not a brand new hotel - duh!) it was very comfortable. Heat functioned well in the bedroom area. The large bathroom provided the only down-side […] which was limited heat. The exterior exposure of the shower made it a tad chilly until the hot water got cranking! The Hotel was very fine. Breakfast was excellent, Staff was pleasant and helpful. I walked out of the hotel and left my camera on the bench near the door. One of the staff ran out after me to retun my camera. EXCELLENT.

This Days Inn has exceptional staff and service. Friendly and helpful all personnel brightened my day. I found the hotel clean and comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood was interesting and safe. Great food, movies and shopping. Highly recommend this Days Inn.

This worked out fine for me! The staff was helpful whenever I asked for a phone # or a recommendation.. they stashed my bag when I needed it- there was good shopping and a movie theater in the neighborhood- it worked out well for me!

Nice staff. Room was smaller than my childrens bedroom. Shower head comes out of the side wall of the shower as hotel is very old. Parking is horrible. Plan on paying $20 per day for parking.

This hotel was better than I expected. Much better! It is situated ever so conviniently with plenty of shopping close by, lots of good restaurants a minute's walk away and the L is about 4 blocks away too. The room we had was a double suite and it was spacious, clean and SO COMFORTABLE! I liked how secure the hotel was: you needed your key for the elevator […] and the stairs which was nice. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location to get around Lincoln Park area and downtown. It is a nice find.

I started staying at the Days Inn in Lincoln Park because my son is attending DePaul University and the DI-LP offers a DePaul discount. I have been consistently impressed with the customer service. For example, a door hop (think his name is Noah) accompanied me to a nearby parking garage and made sure that my car was well located and secure. It probably […] took him 10 minutes out of his routine! The general friendliness of the staff and the great benefits of being a Days Inn guest are superb, and having this good a buy in such an outstanding neighborhood (outstanding eateries and shops within short walks) and being within a short El Train ride of the Chicago Loop is awesome. Not real familiar with areas of Chicago, but the area that this hotel was in was amazing. Very nice, clean and very friendly staff! Would definitely stay there again!!!

Make sure you get a room that is on the OTHER side of building relative to Diversey. Busy and Noisy. Other than that.... all was well.

I usually don't recomend Days Inn but this was a very nice surprise. Staff was super efficient and room was small but very comfy and clean. The only problem was the breakfast, very simple even by complementary breakfast standards and the juices didn't taste right. But obvious that's a very minor complaint. Location is good as well.

Stayed Sat night through Thur night for RSNA meeting at McCormick Place. It was just myself. I got one of the small rooms with one double bed. The hotel is a modernized old Chicago building. The walls are ok with regard to noise. You can hear your neighbors if they are talking loudly. This didn't cause me any trouble since I am used to it from living […] in an apartment. The water was adequate in the shower. Hot was was always available. However, if a neighbor flushed their toilet, the water would get slightly warmer (not a big deal). I wish the shower head had a bit more power, but that's the norm at most hotels. The TV was a bit older (CRT, not LCD), but still good quality. The WiFi was available. It was slow sometimes, but I was able to stream some TV shows alright. Browsing was ok, but don't expect super fast speed for downloads. The bed was nice and firm. I was able to sleep well. The pillow was a bit harder than what I prefer, but ok. The neighborhood was very nice. I saw plenty of young professionals and minimal shady folks. The nearest subway is Diversey, Brown line. It's about 4-5 blocks away (7 min walk). I used it daily to get to downtown. There's also a bus stop about 50 feet from the entrance, which is great. There's a Chipotle nearby and Walgreens across the street. A Trader Joe's is also a block away. I used the self-parking garage. I left my car there for the 6 days. It was $19/day, which is much cheaper than downtown. It's located attached to a nice shopping mall (I didn't shop there though). The hotel staff is top notch - very friendly and helpful. Also the continental breakfast is the best I've seen in over a decade. They had a large selection including cereal, bagels, donuts, muffins, waffles, juice, coffee, milk. I always had a great breakfast. The room was great, comfy beds, clean. Staff very friendly, nice complimentary continental breakfast, great doormen. The only problem was the street noise. Many vehicles honking horns and general traffic noise. However, by 11pm it got very quiet, just the occasional fire truck horns, which you'll get anywhere. Housekeeping came in a made up room but never refilled basket with coffee and tea and other condiments. Besides that stay was great.

Everything, from the courteous desk personnel, the room cleanliness, the convenient location and amenities far exceeded our expectations. Our place to stay next time in Chicago!

stores and small shops within walking distance. Or take the Brown Line and can go anywhere in the city. Great area if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The elevator was out of service a lot of the time I was there, otherwise very good for the money.

Stayed at Days Inn Chicago during a 3 week cross country trip to go to the cubs last home game. Hotel was decent except we had no AC the first night, but luckily it was fixed while we attened the Cubs game. Great location for going to a cubs game and close to downtown Chicago.

We have stayed here several times. Friendly staff and convenient location. Not fancy but just fine for a one nite stay.

The hotel was surprisingly quiet and private given it's busy location. Room size and cleanliness were excellent. Bathroom was well maintained , equipped with period fixtures in tub/tile. We needed an easy-access location for a no-frills Chicago visit to drop oru dautghter off at college. This property fit the bill. The lobby is attractive, the rooms are comfortable, and the continental breakfast was an added bonus.

I have stayed at days inn before and my recollection is that it was an OK hotel but cheap. I remember thinking I shouldn't spend a lot of money for something with low quality. However, I am glad I took a chance with this hotel because I never knew how good a days inn could be. The location of the hotel was superb. We stayed at the Days Inn. Didn't need anything fancy, just clean and reputable. The staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions. The continental breakfast was appreciated for its variety of selections and its convenience. We always stay at this hotel when we come in to town for a Cubs game. It's walking distance to Wrigley, easy to get to, plenty of places to eat nearby. Rooms are small, but we aren't coming in to town to sit in a hotel room anyways, so it's not an issue.

Great location for a walk to Wrigley Field. There is a wide variety of restaurants nearby. Glad we chose to stay here!

The room was quite small but clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very small, but again clean and well maintained. In general the hotel suited our needs for teh 2 night stay, it was quiet while in a busy area.

5 out of 5 stars because it met my needs perfectly. I wouldn't stay there with my family of 4 for several nights, though. Rooms are VERY small, but perfect for 1-2 people just staying the night. Lots of restaurant choices nearby, and the walk to Wrigley was about 20 minutes. Great location and walking distance from many restaurants and Wrigleyville. The train station is a few blocks walk so thats easy to get to as well. The only inconvenience is the unknown 22 dollar per day parking fee they assess to you. The room is also a little cramped so what you are paying for is location here.
