"Decent"
For the price I was satisfied. The best thing about the property was the connecting resturant, Applebees. The rooms were clean but very small. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfeast was very impressive but very crowed space. There were very few places to sit down and eat without the table next to you sitting on top of you. The pool was […] very small. "Clean, nice, cramped facility/rooms,pricey"
Hotel is conveniently located near north campus. Lots of restaurants around. But I found the facility is bit cramped. Room itself is OK. Bed is comfy. But the bathroom is not even like some cheapy motels' bathrooms. All it had was a stand counter, a tub and toilet. No towel bars. Towel are stacked in the stand counter. Breakfast is standard. Clean, comfortable hotel. Wish they had Queen beds instead of just doubles. Very good hot breakfast

"Hampton Inn is very nice"
I now stay at the Hampton Inn North every time I go to Ann Arbor. The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are lovely and clean. It is easily accessed from US 23 although the turn onto Green is easy to overlook. Close to U of M and reasonable distance from Detroit events, it is a good locale.

reflux in the bathroom sink that was pretty gros when someone around us used the bathroom. And there was not real cream for coffee. Used the milk for cerial. Also, the eggs were from powdered eggs. "Hampton Inn ann arbor north."
The front desk staff was extremely helpful. Also the free shuttle service on week days is a real plus, which included taking you to the U of M campus, and also picking you up and taking you back to the hotel.

Hotel after hotel the people at the front desk are so-so, NOT HERE! The entire experience was fantastic. Early arrival, late checkout - no problem. very clean & well run! Finally, a great hotel at a good price.

"Bonus! This hotel is near a Sweetwaters Cafe"
Great hotel, no complaints. Friendly staff, useful business center, beds were VERY comfortable. Conveniently located near a 24 hour drugstore and a Sweet water's Cafe which makes some of the best espresso in ann arbor.

Both days we were there, they were very well staffed in the breakfast area. Never out of anything, despite lots of guests. Very helpful staff. We'll definitely be back again!

The staff at the hotel was excellent, nice and very helpful. The rooms was clean and nice. The breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. The only drawback for me was the convenience to get to down town Ann Arbor. I will absolutely recommend it to a friend

"Hampton Inn Ann Arbor"
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I was visiting the University of Michigan School of Public Health for admitted students day. The hotel provided shuttle service to/from the University of Michigan campus, which was very helpful since it was not within walking distance. Bed was ok, walls were a little thin.

With the exception of being an Ohio State fan and staying in Ann Arbor (deep in enemy territory) I thought the hotel was great! good general location and there is so much around there... If I end up needing another room in Ann Arbor I will stay there again!

I stayed for two days on business. It was a great stay. I was invited out for breakfast the second day, but after sampling the breakfast buffet, I turned it down. It was so good. I used the treadmill every day. I loved getting USA Today everyday. The bathrooms and rooms were a bit small but very adequate. I brought my wife with me on a second stay and […] she loved it. She said it was the most comfortable sleep she has had in awhile. It was nice to walk over to Applebee's(which was connected) for supper. A CVS was very close too. We stayed in AA to take our two year old to the hands on museum. The room was priced super cheap, great service, and great amenitities!

The room was large, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast choices were a little spare, but changed the next day. You get a great room for the price. Overall a really good place to stay. Added bonus: Applebee's attached to the hotel.

"Clean, Convenient and Affordable"
We have two daughters attending the University of Michigan and find this an excellent hotel to use for weekend visits. It is located very close to North Campus and only 10 minutes or so from Central Campus. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby and it is convenient to the freeway. The hotel was clean and we had no issues with our room or […] reservation. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with a large selection of hot and cold items, and though it was very busy everything was kept stocked. Definitely a good place to stay in Ann Arbor. hotel was nice, really clean. only problems were: the pool room was kinda chilly water wasnt bad but air temp was cold. rooms werent ready at checkin, but hotel gave me a room discount

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was that the hotel room was not at all like what the man I booked it through described it. It was a king study and was explained to be spacious and accomodating. Instead it was very tiny and did not sleep 4 people very comfortably at all.

It was nice. I liked having Applebees connected to the property. The bed was nice and soft. I really liked having a sofa in my room as it made just hanging out a lot nice. Plenty of electrical outlets and wireless internet was a huge plus. Could have used a little refrigerator.

I was working right around the corner so this was a perfect location, but they only had 2 doubles. I prefer a king. Bathroom was also very small compared to the hotel I left to move to this one. Basically more money, less space but better location. Applebee's is convenient if you don't want to venture out for dinner.
