Fairfield Inn by Marriott Lexington/Mount Sterling - Mount Sterling

The staff was courteous and efficient. Rooms were clean, but showed some wear and tear. Overall, had a fairly good stay.

This hotel was very easy to find. Provided breakfast (waffle maker, cereals, yogurt, bagels, muffins, etc.). FREE WIRELESS INTERNET!

I was in Mt. Sterling area on business. During the four nights that I was at this Fairfield Inn, I had to move 3 or 4 times. This non smoking hotel has rooms that smell strongly of smoke, The front desk supervisor was extremely rude and reluctant to accomodate guest requests. He was argumentative and did not know what he was doing. We even had someone […] try to check into our room, when we were there, The supervisor came up to the room and asked what we were doing in there!!!! ?????....What if they had given the key to someone while we were not there? There were Many issues with this stay and I will not list them all here... I have NEVER been treated this way as a guest of Marriott. Unfortunately experiences like this get bad reviews and reflect badly on the other hotels that have more professional staffing. This hotel needs alot of rehab staff wise and maintainence wise. The breakfast area was crowded and had few choices. I will not recommend this hotel based on what I feel was poor management and poor staffing plus poor maintainence. Lisätietoja

Attending a family event, the location was great and not difficult to find. Our room (king) was comfortable and clean. Liked having a refrigerator in the room. We took advantage of the continental breakfast but thought the area was small to get around and wish there was a little more to offer. No corn dogs please.

This hotel falls in the category of a budget hotel. That being said, it was a very clean, well maintained hotel. Right off the highway, so location is handy for traveling, not a lot to see in area however. Pool was clean & nice. Bathroom had marble sink, nice tub/ shower. Tiles rather modern, new. There was a coffee maker, hair dryer & iron in room. […] Bed very comfortable, down pillows & down comforter was unexpected & very nice touch. The staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was a plus. I have no complaints, except the room did smell slightly musty. Maybe someone had smoked in room prior to us? Everything in the room was clean & well cared for: I checked... So I can't account for the odor. We were in town for a funeral so I didn't have the energy to bring it to the manager's attention. Good hotel for the money, however forgot to ask about AAA or AARP and hotel didn't ask, maybe because booked through Hotels.com Problem after stay: discovered I left power cord for digital camera in room, been calling for 2 days CANT GET ANYONE TO ANSWER PHONE!

The beds were very comfortable, with that being said the place really needs a good cleaning and updating. The pool was cloudy and I was really suprised by the state of this Marriott hotel. Its fine for an overnight if you just want some place to sleep but don't expect too much

Breakfast was really good, great variety. The hotel and the room were great. Only complaint is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. That's becoming pretty standard and we missed having it here.

The best thing about this hotel was the bed! So very comfortable! It was great...wish I could have taken the bed home with me. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It is located right off highway 64 and has very nice and safe surroundings.

Truly enjoyed our one night at this hotel. Though close to the freeway, there were hardly freeway sounds audible. Staff was extremely friendly and provided good service. Breakfast was well stocked, and frequently replenished.

The staff was very polite and welcoming. The continental breakfast was also good. My visit was in the middle of July when it's hot a humid in Kentucky, and it seemed that the room airconditioner had a tough time dealing with humidity. The room smelled moldy and felt damp. The pool was also out of service. This isn't exactly what I expected from this […] hotel chain; but it could be that they're ready for a renovation. Okay for one night, but not an extended stay. It was a nice clean hotel that was worth the money. We basically were there for the evening to sleep and eat breakfast which was perfect. The breakfast had a nice enough variety for my children to find things to eat.
