This hotel is totally all what you really want to see or feel. They say this is a "3 stars hotel", that's not true. Its trully one star hotel. The room was dirty, freezing, and VERY noisy. Very cousy and comfortable hotel. Only minus is very slow elevator. Near subway-station, where is easy to travel to Walk of Fame, Universal studios etcetc.. Good location. Staff was very helpful.

Hotelli ei ollut lainkaan sellainen millaisen kuvan siitä sai hotels.comin esittelystä. Kuvat on otettu parkkipaikan puolelta, josta hotelli näyttää hienolta. Kadun puolelta ei niin nätti. Tallelokeroita ei löytynyt huoneista vaikka niin oli luvattu. Allasalue oli aidattu koppero parkkipaikan vieressä erillään hotellista. Huoneet vanhahkoja. Remontista […] kuuluu melua huoneisiin. Siivoojat yrittävät tulla huoneeseen vaikka siellä on asukkaita ja do not distub lappu ovessa. Huoneessa oli mikro, jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin ym. Aamupala oli mainio. Siisti hotelli ja hyvä palvelu. Ainoat haitat olivat ilmeisesti hotellin pyykkipesukoneiden äänet klo 23-00 saakka. Lisäksi huoneen ikkuna oli pidettävä 24/7 verhoilla suljettuna, koska heti ikkunan takana oli sisäpihan terassipöydät ja ihmisiä.

Great breakfast and a large dining area. Parking fee $ 18 + tax per day on gated parking lot. Free use of Internet although Wi-Fi strength was kinda weak. Good gift shop with basic amenities for a tourist with reasonable price (they sell also stamps!). Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards just a few minutes drive away. The hotel was at a good location, close to buses and metro and has its own parkinglot. Other than that a very boring hotel. Pretty good hotel indeed! Breakfast wasent wery good but still breakfast :=) Parking is 20 dollars per day so not so much... Staff was great and helpfull... Dont rent car from hotel... They give only 100 miles per day when hertz give unlimited miles cheaper prize!!! in the end this is good hotel

Room was very clean and nice. Airconditioning was very loud so we didn't keep it on very much. Breakfast is good! Staff not so friendly but they do their job ok. Location ok if you have a car, but you can still manage even if u don't have a car, subway is really close and there are some bus lines close too. Hotel is near subway-station and quite near sights of Hollywood. Easy to go to e.g. Universal Studios by subway. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Hotel amenities are ok. Hotel neighbourhood is a little shady, would not recommend walking around it at nighttime. Parking costs extra but is plentiful and easy. Breakfast was great. Recommended.

Very good location near redline metrostation. Very easy access to Universal Studios by metro and free shuttle from metrostation. We stayed 12 nights inLA without a car, and we did fine. Easy access by metro to Hollywood Boulevard. Buses took us to Santa Monica Pier beach, but very good nervs and time are demanded. Pool was an extra benefit! Huoneeseen kuului käytävä-äänet aika selvästi ja ovet pitivät kovahkon äänen niitä suljettaessa. Huoneemme oli sisäpihan puolella, joten sinne ei liikenteen melu kuulunut. My room smelled of something not good. The bathroom was so so small and only had a very bad shower. Missing and broken tiles at the base.

I was very pleased with the Complimentary breakfast every morning. The staff was friendly and the hotel was conviently located to everywhere I wanted to visit!! And I met Tabitha Coffy in the parking lot!! The highlight of my trip because I'm a hairstylist from the East Coast!!

Nice hotel with pool and parking (although they charge extra for the parking). Good location for exploring LA if you have a car, between Downtown and Hollywood. Very clean and fresh decor, good breakfast choice including omelettes made to order. Pizza takeaway, Vegan cafe, and chemist / supermarket all within two minute walk. Recommended.

Rooms were clean. We had a room overlooking the courtyard which was very nice. So quiet at night I thought we were the only guests! Free breakfast can't be beat. The hotel is pleasant looking and the room were nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The courtyard was pretty and it was nice to have a patio off the room. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, the breakfasts have a decent choice, could maybe have some more fruit but otherwise it's fine. Location is close to transit and not far from freeways. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hollywood Hotel. It was conviently located and provided excellent parking services. For the cost of the hotel, I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. I would come back to this hotel again on my next visit.

Hollywood Hotel was reasonably priced and clean and well maintained. The gated parking was convenient and secure. The breakfast was as good as we have had at this price range with omelette chef and waffle station. I would stay here again if I did not have to drive west too many times.

Overall, clean, very nice. The water in our room was never hot and shower turned pretty cold after about 5 minutes - we let them know so hopefully they'll fix it. I booked this hotel because it said it was close by to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater and the "Hollywood scene." Close as in three miles. When I think of close, I think of walking distance. The hotel room was large and spacious but the bathroom was small and you could see that it had been remodeled recently. The room had not carpet […] but had tile. There were five of us and I had to pay $60 for an extra person--but that $60 didn't include a roll away bed--that would have been another $60. I'm assuming that the $60 covered the continental breakfast each morning. The scrambled eggs and omelette station was nice but other than that a typical continental breakfast. I was not impressed with the customer service. There was one young man that worked the afternoon shift who was really nice and offered to help us book a tour, but that was it. The room, as I said was huge and the bath room was small. When you are looking at this hotel on the hotels.com website, the photo of the hotel is actually the rear entrance to the hotel. The parking in back of the hotel is gated and locked and you have to pay$20 a day to park. Considering the neighborhood, it was worth it to pay for the parking We didn't have time for the pool but it we did look at it and it was beautifully decorated. Hotel is about a block from Vermont/ Santa Monica metro station so convenient to get from LAX airport and around LA as we didn't want to drive. Opposite metro is #704 bus that takes you to rodeo drive and santa Monica beach etc for $1.50 so very handy. Hotel was spacious and rooms were a little dated but comfortable with complimentary coffee, fridge […] and microwave. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the central courtyard which was nice but one night other guests were quiet noisy until 1am which was annoying. The room was a little dusty and the bed sheets weren't changed in over a week we were there for. Breakfast was buffet cereals, fruit, toast and made to order omlettes and waffles. Queues were often long. Overall not a bad hotel and would stay there again but a little rough around the edges. Tip: vending machines are very expensive, go to the am/pm petrol station opposite the metro station. Hotel doesn't have restaurant. Pizza Hut and subway (24hr) nearby. Our biggest complaint is that we returned to that hotel for the second time, as we were visiting our daughter who goes to school down there, and we stayed there as its a 4 minute to where she is. So the location is what brougt us back. The manager, Roman, was extremely unfriendly. There are absolutely NO breaks at this hotel what so ever... This was a nice clean hotel with free wifi and continental breakfast. Nice breakfast. The room was clean and big and it was a nice quiet hotel. Just seemed wrong area. Not really in Hollywood more the end of Hollywood. There is not much to do around such as eating or seeing in a short 5 minute walk. Very nice hotel. Customer service can be rather unhelpful for anything other than simple check-in/out... Not all rooms have in-room safes... Make sure that you budget for £20/night car parking which is not included in the rate
