We had a family and thought it was clean

This place needs new management or the bulldozer. It's not on my list to ever stay there again. Our non-smoking room had the stale oder of cigarettes, the hair drier was dead and the end was charred. The TV cable was torn out of the wall. I got a fish hook stuck in my foot from it's place stuck in the carpet next to the bed and the list goes on. There was a hole in the comforter and the cleanliness of the hotel was not the best. There was not enough light in the room, the ice machine was too far away, and when we called for service we had to wait over 2hours or more for someone to show up to provide service. On top of all that, we did not feel safe in our environment.

There was a small thing here and there. The hotel hallways could be a little cleaner/updated without the stains. Other than that, good breakfast and friendly staff. I read reviews about bad rooms; perhaps they got unlucky and received bad rooms.

Dirty exterior, trash left laying around, parking lot in disrepair. Room was just barely clean. Staff seemed to be annoyed at having to serve a customer. When I checked in, they didn't tell me the TV/Dish wasn't working. Extra charge for a pet, but no safe or clean area to walk the dog. Poor lighting in the rear parking lot. One of the reviews said old but clean, so I took a chance. Old yes, clean no. There was mold in the bathrooms, dirty towels in the bathroom and in the room, and one of the beds smelled like dog. I will never use this place again.

The hotel was not as clean as the photos that were advertised on the site.

Inexpensive hotels can be risky and are often less expensive for a reason. This one is located close to Uof Delaware campus. Slightly older in appearance on the outside, our room was clean and updated bathroom. Wireless internet, flatscreen TV, microwave, refridge. It was perfect for a simple overnight stay in the middle of a long drive.

Good value, clean room, friendly staff. Location is excellent...just off the highway, lots of dining choices surround the hotel, ranging from fast food to casual dining.

You get what you pay for. An old and dingy property in need of a major face lift. that is why it is so cheap.

Hotel is not maintained well. Room was okay but the bathroom was dirty. Previous stayer soap and stuff was still there in bathroom. surrounding in hotel was unclean. Breakfast location was moved to some room and was not good.

Bathroom and sheets very dirty. Very close to the University of Delaware.

I read other reviews before I booked that said the rooms were filthy, but knowing that we would only be needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours, and accustomed to "roughing it" for the sake of a bargain, I was perfectly willing to suffer any filth for a deal. However, it was worse than I could have ever imagined. Yes, the rooms were literally […] fithy (i.e. dirt, tissue, and a dead tick on bathroom floor, stained dirty carpets, black grime on floor of tub around non-slip strips, just to start!). I could have lived with all that, but the room smelled like cat urine and it permeated the sheets, pillow, everything! When we left, our suitcases even smelled like it. We had to do laundry at a laundry mat just to continue or trip. We told the front desk and they just said "okay" as if it were normal and no big deal. The smell was so overpowering that it woke us up several times during the night. We had hoped we would become accustomed to the smell, but we could not. The smell clung to us, even permeating our skin and hair, but the shower/tub was so filthy we were scared to take a shower so we had to try to wash up the stink in the sink. Even as a person who is willing to put up with a lot for a great deal, I would never even consider staying here again, even at half the price I paid. Other reviews must have been trying to be nice and I wished they had been more to the point because I would have paid triple that amount to sleep anywhere else that night. One good thing about the hotel was that there was a 24 hour coffee shop next door with good soup and decent food so we didn't have to go far to find dinner before we went to bed, or breakfast the next morning. If our room hadn't reeked or cat urine, we could have handled staying there one night if we didn't use the shower. So perhaps another room, one that had not been sprayed by cats and the closed up tight to ripen, might not have been intolerable. Lisätietoja

Area is nice, but the hotel is very dirty. Even from the parking lot you could tell it was not a well kept place. Just not very well maintained. I was trying to be cheap since I only stay for a day, but I should have paid the extra 5-10 dollars to stay at a better hotel in the area.

I needed a cheap place to stop for the night that was near the highway. This hotel was just fine for that. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet and they had free wireless internet access. My room looked like it had never been vacuumed. I called housekeeping and they said they would take care of it but in 4 days it never got done. The staff was nice though.
