Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Older motel....no recent renovations. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel was in a geographically good spot, however, there was lots of construction on the surrounding roads making it hard to get in and out of the hotel. "Dirty/Poor Room Conditions and Bad Neighborhood"
The staff were friendly and this is the only good thing I can say about the hotel. I did not realize that the hotel was in a fairly bad neighborhood and wouldn't have stayed there alone had I known. The hotel is on a strip with many other run-down motels that do not appear to be in good shape. The room conditions were lousy. First, it was rundown and […] in desperate need of renovations. Second, it was dirty. I stayed in a non-smoking King Room. The nightstand had some sticky goo stuck on it so I had to cover it up with a towel before putting anything on it. the carpet was disgusting with plenty of nasty-lotoking stains. I kept my shoes in at all times with the exception of when I went to sleep in the bed. The mattress was very lumpy which I did not find comfortable. Some of the towels appeared dirty due to staining and the towels were very cheap and overused. There was soap scum in the shower and shower head was even with my face (I'm 5'9"). Let me finish by staying that I am typically comfortable with lower-priced accommodations, and have stayed at many Days Inn hotels in the past, however, I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here. My brothers, wife and children stayed at the New Days Inn of Chippenham Pkwy the overall stay was nice except that my sister-in-law got bit by something her arm swelled up and was red and itchy looked like a spider bite showed it to manager and was moved to a new room. "OK location, has seen better days"
We stayed to be near the hospital my mother was in. I remember it years ago when it belonged to a diffierent chain. The hotel shows its age. Strange construction of stairs and accessible ramps that are very confusing. Room was clean. But the beds/mattresses were old and lumpy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower is placed too low for normal people. Retained bites from something in the bed or sheets. Other than that, for the price it was a great place.

The hotel room had two sets of curtains in the window. One set was a see through white that closed all the way but provided no privacy and the bigger curtains would not close. Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I had no issues with the room or any of the staff. Overall, it was a great experience. Clean, no loud neighbors, and friendly staff.

"Cheap and a decent room for a night."
Hotel was a good $30 cheaper than another Days in 5 miles away so decided to check it out. The room was decent but the surroundings were defiantly sub-par. As far as location it wasn't really near anything I that I could figure. Also, light on the sign was out and google told me to take a highway on ramp to turn into the parking lot. "Great value"
The location was where I wanted and the hotel was a great value. The furnishings were outdated but the price of the room was outstanding. For those travelingmany miles from point A to point B this is a comfortable hotel. The front desk was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was OK. "The Days Inn Richmond Midlothian Tpke.Richmon Va."
The night we stayed at the hotel people moved in next door to us around 12:30 AM. They were so loud that we had to call the front desk to have security come to their room to quiet them down. We had to call twice between the hours of 12:30 AM and 1:30 AM before any action was taken. They finally quieted down, but we were awake for that full hour.
This place was OK for a place to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Plumbing has issues...toilet wouldn't flush unless you held the handle down...shower shot more water down the drain than thru the shower head. Had to call front desk for internet access that couldn't be used by more than one device. My wife had one for her tablet and we had to call for a […] second for my laptop. Seemed like we had to drive in circles to get to this location, but I guess that's more the design of the streets than the hotel's fault. "Horrible!"
This hotel was in a bad area and I will never stay there again! It is 20 min from Downtown and about 10 min from a local mall but that I about it! The condition of the room is poor to say the least! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are willing to buy the drugs being sold on the second floor!

I woud recommend someone to stay in a room in your hotel. The hotel staff was so friendly and were great with hospitality when it came to a question or assistance. I had a comfortable stay and want to thank all staff.
"Richmond Days Inn -close to business links"
I only needed somewhere to 'lay my head' after attending a conference and work interview. So, though I didn't need assistance or help from anyone, my stay was very comfortable (clean room with ample accommodations) and I'd quickly recommend the hotel to a friend.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The staff was rude from the time I checked I'm until I left. The room was dirty and it smelled. The beds were to hard it would been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Not to mention the roaches.

the hotel was adequate for two guys on a golf week needing a place to put their heads down. Not a plce our wives would be happy with. Was not as central as we first thought, but lots of fast ffod near by. the staff was very freindly and went the extra mile to answer any questions. Overall is was decent for the price

I did not feel safe staying at this hotel. I was travelling with my husband, 12 yr daughter, and 11 yr niece. The cleaning person left dirty smudge marks on the shower, left a cleaning rag on the table. An electrical outlet was broken we couldn't charge anything electrical. The lamp was held together by electrical tape. The location did not have a safe […] feeling. We could see light coming through the door! The hotel was very clean and neat.However, when we got there most of the non smoking rooms had been smoked in. We were quickly changed to another room but the beds were like sleeping on a peice of hard wood!We were told that they had a pool but it was not available for weeks!

My husband & I travel to the Richmond VA Medical Center often and have stayed at the Days Inn on Midlothian Turnpike on the last 4 trips. We've tried several other motels but this one is by far the best. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Rooms seem to have been renovated within the last year or two. They are quite comfortable and roomy and […] we've always found them neat and clean. The one time we had a problem with the mini-fridge not working they immediately moved us to another room. Lots of shopping, good restaurants and fast food in the area. The location is perfect with an easy 10 minute drive to the VAMC, Free WiFi and their pet policy are super bonuses, and you can't beat the price. The room was clean and the sheets were clean however they had stains that are unable to remove. Which is disturbing until you smell it and it smell like Downy Fabric Softner. I would come again however the mattress is very hard and uncomfortable. But for the price I would stay again.

Our overnight stay on our trip from Florida to New Jersey had me researching stops in either Peterson or Richmond at a inexpensive price. I settled on The Days Inn based on price and reviews. As the stay was just one night, the extra amenities (gym, pool, etc.) did not interest me. I was also surprised at the nitpicking I read in some reviews. The […] hotel took us 10 miles off of I-95. But it was NW and still got us closer to home. To get back onto 95, we continued north, so it wasn't really "out of the way". Located just off the exit of a major highway, on-off access was easy. Check in was seamless and we were in our room in about 5 minutes after approaching the front desk. Parking was plentiful with all rooms having outside entrances. The room had adequate space, 2 double beds, 3 soft pillows, no foul odors and NO BUGS!!! (to me that's a major +) The tub/shower and toilet were in a separate room from the sink area. The shower had a bowed out curtain rod which a big guy like me (6'2", 280 lbs.) finds great. The tub had been resurfaced and did have a couple of spots that looked like they were peeling, but I was taking a shower and that didn't bother me. I also didn't inspect it closely to see if it would actually peel off. The water pressure was phenomenal. Better than what I have at home! Also adjusts for different sprays. The toilet was clean and functioned well. 3 bath towels and a floor mat towel were provided. In the sink area, 2 washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, coffee maker with set-ups, Styrofoam cups and ice bucket were all provided. Another major plus was the small refrigerator, with a small freezer area. And it worked! TV had a multitude of channels with HBO, the heat worked, and the room was clean. Now the carpet was not vacuumed to the very edge (oh, horrors) and the stuccoed ceiling had a few patchwork repairs which were not perfect (oh, double horrors) but I wasn't going to be sleeping on the floor next to the walls and I wasn't goin Lisätietoja
