"Not as good as you would expect"
I was disappointed by this hotel, which felt like an average hotel trying to pass itself off as top-drawer. It wasn't terrible by any means, and the room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and the furnishings were very nice. The V. Kelly pub and the Augustine Grill I found to have great food and top-notch service, and the Starbucks in the lobby […] was a welcome option. But the air conditioning went on with a click and a whoosh that would wake me up in the night, and the toilet would erupt in loud gurgling several times a day. I could hear every word of the conversation in the room next door. I was not pleased to be charged a not insubstantial fee to use the internet daily. Rather than wait for the elevator to go up one flight to my room, I preferred to take the stairs, and they were dirty, dimly lit and unpainted. It was a wonderfully comfortable hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, the pools were warm and inviting, and the location was near other dining options if you did not want to dine in the hotel restaurants. The shuttles were available to take you where you needed to go and they would come back to pick you up when you called for them. I didn't visit the […] spa, but it was beautiful. "Sawgrass Marriott"
We had a great time. The service staff was excellent. Everyone wanted to please us from the beginning. Shuttle service to the beach was perfect. Food and table service from morning till midnight was very good. We are planning our next visit and will return soon.

"Best hotel in the area"
Sawgrass is a great hotel. Getting older but staff makes up for it and keeps rooms and common areas very clean. Close to TPC and amazing spa (newer). Also close to great places eat and enjoy cocktails. New tapas bar called "Karma" just opened next to Ruth's Chris, all within walking distance. Love Ponte Vedra and will stay here again on next trip.
"Great Stay, lots of options"
My boyfriend and I stayed here over Fourth of July weekend. We rented a villa which was basically a one bedroom apartment. The room was very clean and comfortable. We both had appointments at the onsite spa. I had the best manicure of my life. It's coming up on a week and looks like it was done yesterday. The grounds were beautiful and the lobby was […] awesome. There were a lot of families/children so if you're looking for something geared towards adults, this is not the place. They offer a shuttle to the beach, which is very close by. There is great shopping about 9 miles or so from the hotel. All in all it was a great stay. "Sawgrass Marriot- good and bad"
The bad: We reserved a room at the hotel. We get there and they said we were staying at their separate villa. We were impressed. Until we got there. It was like a remodeled 3 story apartment building. Looked like each apartment was made into 3 hotel rooms. We all had to share a balcony. We asked to be moved because that's not what we "signed up for". […] They put us in the tower. Said it had a balcony and a beautiful view of the pool. The balcony was just big enough to stand on. Definitely not big enough for a chair, about 20 inches and all we could see were the trees. Then to top it all off, we kept getting locked out of our room. Had to get new key cards 3 times. The good: beautiful lobby/entrance. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful lit walkways. Kids activities. Adult pool and family pool. Free lemonade in lobby. I'm really torn. If you don't mind a small room and essentially no balcony and really pricey food, then this might be the place for you. Just make sure you specify tower or villa. Lisätietoja
