Ulkoapäin näyttää Vegas-glamourilta mutta sisältä aika nuhjuinen ja huoneistakin oli kivat näkymät lastaulaituri-parkkipaikka tyyliselle alueelle. Chek-iniin jonotimme yli tunnin ja palvelu tiskillä oli lähes asiatonta. Ainoa positiivinen puoli, joka jäi mieleen, oli kasinon mukava baarimikko. Riviera on vanhahko hotelli, kaeumapan hienoimmista hotelleista ja casinoista. Bussilla pääsee kuitenkin kulkemaan kätevästi joka paikkaan. Hotellihuoneemme oli iso ja sängyt todella mukavat. Oltiin viikko kyseisessä hotellissa, jossa ihana kotoisa uima-allasalue antoi etelän loma tunnelmaa ja mukavat, siistit huoneet hyvät yöunet. Hotelli sijaitsee pohjois-osassa las vegas stripiä, ja sopii rauhallisemman alueen vuoksi varmasti hyvin perheille. Itse olimme lomasta nauttivia parikymppisiä, mutta hotellin hinta-laatu-sijainti suhde oli erinomainen. […] Bussilla pääsi kätevästi downtowniin ja lähellä on myös muutamia hyviä ostospaikkoja, joissa saa halvalla hyvää tavaraa.. Hotellin ympäristössä oli hyviä ravintoloita ja pikkukauppoja. Alakerrassa casino, jossa oli riittävästi tilaa.. Hotelli Riviera tarjoaa myös muutamia esityksiä, joita emme käyneet katsomassa. Tosin monet niitä kehuivat. Tänne kannattaa ehdottomasti majottautua, jos haluaa säästää hienojen-isojen-hintavien hotellien maksuissa. Tämä ei ehkä ole suurimmasta päästä, mutta kyllä tämä suomen hotellit peittoaa mennen tullen. Yövyimme Monaco-tornissa, jossa sisustus oli todella hieno. Riviera on jo vanha ja kulunut, eikä ihan Stripin vauhdikkaammassa ytimessä. Mutta hotelin edustalta pääsee Deuce-bussilla sekä downtowniin että Strippiä etelään kätevästi. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja mukava sekä edullinen.

It's pretty close to the exhibition hall, convenient. But soundproof system is bad. Hard to rest.

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. Booked a renovated luxury room but advised by front desk when I asked to be moved due to the condition of the bathroom, only the area with bed had been renovated. We liked this hotel and we also liked how spacious the rooms were. For what the cost of the room was, we were more than pleased. The only thing that is on the bad side is that the walls are paper thin. You can hear every thing in the hallway weather it's walking or talking or in the room next to your too! Riviera rocks!!!! Best hotel i've stayed in EVEERRR!!!!

I was pleased to see the the rennovations. I love the cabanas! My room (with a view of the pool) was neat and clean and the staff was courteous and efficient. The service was excellent and so was the food. I appreciate the location because it is located between Downtown (Freemont Street) and the excitement of the newer hotels where there is much traffic […] and congestion. I was very surprised mhen I checked in to my room. The carpeting was shredded in parts. The bathroom was very bad......tiolet seat was discolored brown. The pipes were dirty and rusty. The grout was discolored also. The air cond. unit was very old and outdated. The bed was made however, was shortsheeted and not tucked. I called the front desk and they […] switched me to another room. Upon examination of new room, I was better as far as cleanliness. The room was still outdated and worn. This was my 2nd stay at the Riviera. The 1st time there was no pool. However my room was farely decent. This 2nd time the pool was nice, but my room was awful! It's like they freshened up the bed linens & put up a flatscreen tv, but everything else was still old & not fres. I know you get what you pay for, but this was ridiculous. The Rivera is a nice place though that end of the strip is getting pretty isolated since they have torn down so many other properties. They have closed up many of the small shops in the Rivera and added more slots in those areas. We had a classic room which means in the old section, two double beds only and a very small bathroom with no place to set […] any items out. The room was clean but I would upgrade next time. The only real complaint was check in is awful slow everytime we went to the desk there was a long line and it averages about 1 hr to check in. Also the TV checkout system only works from 6AM until 2:30 PM which isn't much good for early morning flights. Food prices have gone up everywhere in Vegas, a sign of the times since gambling is off some. Parking is convenient and there is a CVS drugstore not far away if you forget something. If you have kids there is a McDonalds across the street and Circus Circus is also across the street if you want to do their kid activites. Rivera has a very nice large pool but it closes at 6 PM. I was in the room less than 5 minutes and the maintenance man showed up telling me the maid had reported a clogged bath tub. After three visits and two snakes he cleared it. One hour later the toilet was full of hair I guess he tried to flush it down the toilet.

i found a bed bug in my room and security said it was not a bed bug but i know what a bed bug looks like because i work for a hotel and i've seen them before, they didnt offer any upgrade or anything

Too far off the strip. The hotel is dated and needs an uplift. Comfortable room, but no atmosphere.

The hotel was fine for the price. It was not a luxurious hotel like some of the other hotels on the strip, but it's clean and comfortable, and it's on the strip. The only complaint I had was that it was a little noisy. I think the walls are a little thin.

Check in was a miserable experience. No perks with room, not even a morning cup of coffee. Only good experience was the pool but even that closed too early. Overall, won't be back.

The hotel is at the far end of the strip, so the closest hotel is about a 10 minute walk. Everything else is much further. The dining choices in the hotel weren't too bad, some over priced but for the most part fair. The staff wasn't very helpful with information, and it's really hard to get drinks in the casino unless you are at the bar or a live table. […] The room was outdated, one of the beds was very worn & sunk in in the middle, but room service was awesome at bringing clean towels & freshening up our room when asked. Hotel was old and dirty, it was located in an unsafe area, it was very far from the main strip by all the big hotels. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all!!!!

I like to try different hotels when I stay in Vegas and a few of them I've stayed in more than once, but I won't stay here again. The room was dusty (it would've failed the white glove test). The picture of the outside looks better than the inside. Very outdated. Not satisfied.

the rooms in the san mateo area of the hotel are horrible...which is where they put us...hate to say I would never stay there again...

The place is just OK. A decent value given the low price.

i don't know what it was, it might have been bed bugs anyway, rashed broke out all over my upper arms after the first 2 nights and the room was full of dust and i got a bad bad cough. clean your facility!!!

The air conditioner could have worked better.

The stay was good but the hotel did not have the room we paid for. We paid extra money for an upgrade and when we got there all we got was "we are sorry but that room us not available". We had booked that room atleast 2 weeks in advance. The room we got had an old worn out toilet and tub, old tv, and the faucet was not broke so water was leaking day […] and night. I've always had the philosophy that when staying in Vegas, the room is only there for you to sleep in. This trip I decided to get a suite at the Riviera. The room was a large room. Way too much floor space in my opinion. Some of that space could have been used for the tiny bathroom. Also if you pay a little extra for a suite, it shouldn't be fair that […] you share door between two rooms. There was so much open space under the door resulting in hearing everything in the room next to you. Considering Vegas is a place where people are coming in and out at different hours of the day, the Riviera should at least have sound proof doors between the rooms to eliminate as much outside noise as possible while maintaining the privacy element that comes along with purchasing a luxury room. I thought it wasn't that bad. Checked in fine with no hassle or line. Room was ok to me. The only thing is it's away from everything. But can't complain. The casino wasn't that bad either. Most places are packed and u have to wait to play but this was nice because u could play comfortable and don't have to wait for anything really. I would stay there […] again if I was on a budget like this time. The only good food I thought was quiznos. But there is a mcdonalds right across the street. Lisätietoja

On arrival I was advised of another $11 per night for a resort charge. When i got to the room the TV did not work. I called room service and it took more than an hour for a technician to turn up. whole plug was smashed and dangerous

it's a nice hotel to stay in the staff is very nice and really care for the guest.
