Miellyttävä pieni hotelli kohtuuhintaan. Huone oli valoisa, avara, siisti, kaikki toimi hyvin. Paras mannermainen aamiainen niistä hotelleista, missä ollaan tällä matkalla oltu: tavanomaisen "pulla-aamiaisen" lisäksi oli erilaisia pikapuurohiutaleita, jogurttia sekä hedelmiä.

Hotellin sijainti oli tosi hyvä. Yöllä pientä meteliä, mutta oltiinhan suurkaupungissa. Ruokapaikat lähellä ja hyvä aamiaispaikka ihan vieressä.

Hinta-laatusuhde oli mielestäni kohdallaan. Tämänhintaiselta hotellilta ei tietenkään voi odottaa viiden tähden laatua, mutta huone olis siisti ja riittävän tilava, ja sijainti oli erinomainen.

Hotelli sijaitsi kivalla pienemmällä paikkakunnalla noin 20 minuutin ajomatkan päästä SF:n downtownista. Autolla oli kätevä liikkua (hotellissa ilmainen parkkipaikka!). Mutta myös vajaan 2 km:n päästä kulkevalla BART:llakin pääsee helposti SF:n keskustaan. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Myös hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen oli kattava (tarjolla mm. puuroa, hedelmiä, jogurttia). Hotellin henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä. Suosittelen hotellia etenkin San Franciscon automatkaajille!

"Very big rooms, very friendly staff"
I really enjoyed staying here and will return. The rooms are huge!!!!! And the waffles at breakfast are delicious.
"Nice hotel, great customer service"
My family spent an evening here. It was easy to find; staff was awesome; our two bedroom suite was clean and comfortable. There was five of us and there weren't enough towels, but easily taken care of with the wonderful, customer service-oriented staff. I would stay here again.

"Outdoor spaces To die for"
This place offers three separate outdoor areas....1. pool & hot tub, 2 .a serenity garden with ample platings and a fire pit and umbrella shaded table and chairs and 3. My favorite....a covered "cabana" sort of area complete with lit candles, comfy sofas and love seats and a gas lit fire place with two large screen tv sets. Every night the attendant […] goes around at 7 pm and lights candle lanterns around the heated outdoor pool, the fireplace and candles in the cabana room and the lights in the trees in the serenity garden. They even provided two modern, large gas grills for guests to use. I hated to go back to my room with all this outside. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Mt only complaint is that the shower head was very low...even for me...a woman of 5'5", they need more outlets for ease of charging cell phones and more counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. My family stayed here recently and found our two bedroom suite to be clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would put more towels in the room, especially since it is designed for four to six people. The breakfast room moved slowly on a Sunday morning, so don't be in a hurry. Marin Suites was about 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and right off the freeway. The grounds were very nice with lawns, BBQs, pool, jacuzzi, and outside lounge area. "Poor Maintenance"
This place has become "tacky" due to poor maintenance. Wind-Stop under the door was missing so the wind was hauling through the room. Internet was not functioning. "Marin Suites-fine unless you want WiFi"
The room was fine overall except the wireless Internet access was VERY SPOTTY. One of us could go online right away. The other one could get online only after 6-10 denials despite moving around to different (and inconvenient) locations in the room. So I think that the internet signal is very weak even though our room was very close to the lobby.

"Marin Suites - Home away from home"
We booked this hotel for 3 nights for a San Francisco/Six Flaggs vacation because it was the most affordable 1 bedroom suite in the area. The hotel was a little older than I thought.....but the rooms have obviously been updated. The beds were comfy with down comforters and the living room was spacious. It was perfect for our family. The hotel has a […] salt water pool and a hot tub which we used every day. They both were at a great temperature. I know the hotel was booked and even so the pool was not crowded. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside is because it's older its not as quiet as some of the newer hotels although the bedroom faces the opposite side of the pool and walkway we only heard the freeway traffic which actually didn't bother us. But if you are in the living area you can hear what is going on in the pool if you are on that side of the hotel. I imagine the garden side is quieter. It's also in a great location....there is a great shopping mall within walking distance with a grocery store also. And a cute movie theater right next door. "Marin Suites a great place to stay"
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Marin Suites. It is convenient both to San Francisco and the wine country. The rate was very reasonable. They have a nice breakfast that we enjoyed each morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again if back in the San Francisco area.

Very nice and clean but no air conditioning in the room and it was a very warm day. I'm not use to no air, but they did have a floor fun in the closet so I used it. The front lobby was tricky to get into, you had to park behind the hotel and walk around and down a hall way to finally find it. But everyone who worked there was very gracious.

This is a poorly constructed motel in a very affulent location. The grounds of the hotel property are very well maintained, manicured and kept up. "Marin Suites - Corte Madera"
Stayed overnight & I love this place. Seems like more of an extended stay because the rooms are more like 1 bedroom apartments ...really. Very clean, friendly staff. 100% recommended & I will return. Only downside was that there's no smoking on the property

"It is okay, but I would not stay again"
We had the 2 bdrm suite. If size and the kitchen are what you are after, then this place is great. They really do try. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. The 'sanctuary' and courtyard, b-fast were good. In fact, it would have been great except that the place is simply too loud. The walls, doors, windows, floors are of such poor quality […] that you can hear EVERYTHING. Plus the carpet was gross, it really was, the room was good but I hate yucky carpet because then I don't want to walk or set stuff down. So, I would not stay here again. "Great hotel!"
If the sound of the freeway bothers you then ask for a room in the front. The hotel was great and the grounds were beautiful. I wish we could have spent more time outside playing in the pool and the sanctuary with the firepit but we were just there for one night and it was cold outside. This place was close to everything. "Comfortable and clean but not quiet"
Stayed for 3 nights recently, very nice rooms and the price was great. The only problem was that you could hear a lot of what was going on in the courtyard and every time someone walked by the door of the room it was quite loud as well as when people moved around on the floors above. I would stay here again, though I'd request an upper floor.

This really is more of an extended stay hotel. Our room was huge. Larger than some apartments I've lived in. Beautifully furnished and clean. A little noisy as the freeway is right behind the hotel, but other than that a great place to stay for people. They were doing contruction right outside of my door for a couple of hours during the day. It was very loud banging nails to metal. I realize they are renovating the hotel but I was very frustrated that I could not relax. The heater in my room was broken and then when they did fix it, it smelled sooo bad. I just left it off. The first night I was there, there were some construction workers staying right down the hall from me and they were getting loud and fighting so the cops showed up. Quite comfortable, convenient location, not the most lavish but have no complaints. friendly, helpful staff. nice relaxing area/pool/gardens etc. we would stay there again. Nice shopping mall & restaurants within easy walking distance. Good value for money.
We thought the rooms were clean and comfortable. They were a good size with a kitchenette etc. The only thing our room did not have was airconditioning (apart from a fan). This would be uncomfortable in hot weather.

Very convenient location to exploring Marin and Sonoma County attractions. Spacious suite at a very good price. Pool area and "Sanctuary" are beautiful. Communal breakfast room had poor ventilation and was stuffy. Every day it smelled of burnt toast and waffles. Some front desk staff were not helpful. A few times the phone there was not answered at […] all. High speed wireless Internet access was a must for us, but it was not working for 3 of the 4 days we were there. Hotel uses outside technicians, but they did not come to the hotel, and did not fix the problem remotely. We saw insufficient concern about the problem from the front desk staff. I was surprised at the size of our suite; It was more of a one bedroom apartment. Dining room, kitchen, living room, bath and bedroom. Very clean except for the carpet, which needed cleaning and there was no air conditioning! Thankfully, I didn't need it, except at the beginning of our stay, to air out the unit. Great location for catching the ferry, was suprised that the two room suite only had one bathroom. The bathroom was not so clean, but the rest of the suite was. Price was fine.

Great hotel, very clean, the pool and hot tub were lovely and the breakfast was yummy. They have 2 waffle machines. they have washing machines and give you free washing powder.

If you are coming to SF Bay Area, this is the place to stay to avoid crowded, noisy SF downtown, or close to SFO hotels. This hotel is located not far from SF, but very quite place. Also it is close to 101, noise insulation is very good. Hotel's pool and hot-tub are splendid.

"Highly recommend"
We were given a very nice suite with a kitchenette. This room was huge and included a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, sink, and dining room table with 4 chairs. "Nice place"
The weather on the hotel side of the bridge is easily 5-10 degrees warmer in the summer!! Able to have a pool day while visiting San Francisco!! The drive to the city was very easy. Did the ferry one day and it is super convienient to the hotel. We had a two bedroom unit and it was very large! Only complaint was the heat was on and we couldn't figure […] out how to turn it off till two days in! There are box fans in the closet so we put one in the living room window and pulled the outside air into the unit and never had another air comfort problem. Nice location - very residential. A small shopping plaza and a movie screen righ next door. Larger shopping complex a short drive up the road and a mall on the other side of the interstate. The pool and sanctuary areas are amazing!!! Wedding party until 0300. Very noisy. Night management new about it, but did not stop the noise.
Thank for selecting the Marin Suite Hotel as your travel destination during your recent trip. I apologize that you encountered an issue regarding noise levels of another guest. While it is true that we had a wedding party in house recently - I was not aware that we were having a noise issue with them. We do agree that it is unacceptable for another guest to disturb their neighbors during the night hours and address the situations as soon as they are brought to our attention. I will be sure to address the issue with the Front Desk staff to ensure that if they are notified of such situation the proper way to address it.
