Mukava hoteli ja ystävällinen palvelu. Ilmastointi toimi hienosti (ulkona +35°C). Hotellihuone ei ole hiljainen - majoituime 1 krseen. Kadulta kuuluu ääniä, mutta se ei haitannut - raitiovaunu kulkee kotonamme muutaman metrin päästä... Huoneiden siivous toimi mainiosti. Ainoa miinus oli huonekohtaisen tallelokeron (safety box) puuttuminen.

Hotelli hyvä ja lähellä nähtävyyksiä. Aamupalaa lukuunottamatta ruokailumahdollisuudet huonot...onneksi pöytäpaikkoja hotellin lähettyvillä. ilmastointi pelasi ja yöt eivät menneet pyöriskellessä :)

Palvelu on ystävällistä, erinomaista on lentokenttäkuljetus (saapumiskuljetus oli ilmainen), vatikaani on aivan kulman takana ja sijainti on hyvä. Matkaa on kävellen esim. Piazza Navonalle noin 15 min, mutta nähtävää on koko ajan.

Staff not very helpful. Price you quoted us included all taxes, and shuttle to the airport, but they charged us 40 Euro for airport transfer in their own van packed with other hotel guests, and added 12 euro taxes. The bed was too soft and sank to the floor when we lay down on it, causing my husband's back to go out, and caused him considerable pain. […] The room was like a dungeon, dark and gloomy. Good points: very quiet as we were on the top floor (although room and bed vibrated whenever a bus/large vehicle drove by!). Lovely bathroom and we slept exceptionally well. Have no complaints whatsoever about our stay, good value for money, good location with great restaurants in the locality and the Vatican and metro stop within a few mins walk. Ignore complaints about noise in other reviews, it was very minimal. However, be aware that the information restrauntthe with the view off St Peters Bassillica is actually at […] a sister hotel around the corner, not in this building. Hotel is small but friendly. As hotels go in Rome, it's perfectly situated for sightseeing. We walked everywhere from the hotel. It's very close to the Vatican & a metro station. Staff are helpful. If u like modern fancy hotels this hotel is not for you, if you just need a good base then I highly recommend this hotel. Free pick up from the airport is […] a huge bonus, had to pay going back to the airport but when u have a buggy it is worth paying to avoid the stress. Breakfast was basic, but considering prices in Rome it is good value at 9 euro, room is small but there is a second room if needed. I have never seen a city so full of tourists so restaurant workers in general are a little rude, it's like they know they don't need to be nice because they will fill seats anyway. This hotel has a 4-star rating? It should be not more than 3-star. The room I booked was suposedly a superior one. Well, it had a very uncomfortable bed with its mattress at floor level, no shower, only one stright-backed chair. extremely poor lighting. The only plus to this room was a totally private roof-level patio.

Older hotel, but very good condition. Near Vatican, great location. Restaurants in area are very good and not expensive. Only complaints are that Wi-Fi is only free for first 5 minutes and it can be hard to get an iron if needed.

Wonderful position for sight seeing. Very close to the Vatican. Rooms look bigger in the pictures, but the jetted bath tub makes up for it!

It was a great location!! Staff was very helpful and had many suggestions for dinner and tours. I really enjoyed that is was an 19th century builing that really made you were a part of history, which is why you usually visit Vatican City.

We took the free airport shuttle that the hotel offered but that only gets you to the hotel. You have to pay €20 per person for a return trip. We were met by a fairly humourless driver who hardly said anything to us on pick up. The journey to the hotel took about 40 minutes and there were no problems at check in; the receptionist was quite pleasant. […] Initial impression of the room was not great. There was a hole in the bed cover and the in room phone was covered in dust which didn't change. The bathroom area was quite big and nicely decorated but the fixtures and fittings had again seen better days. The heating in the room didn't work and we had to request extra blankets to stay warm overnight. There was one quite thin pillow per person and the mattress wasn't exactly comfortable. Breakfast was €9 per person and was ok if a little pricey for what you get (no hot food!). There are no in room facilities for making drinks which was a bit of a nightmare if you've spent a day sightseeing as it would be nice to chill out with a cuppa after realising around all day. There is a bar at the hotel which doesn't open until 5pm, again not great as you can't even get soft drinks anywhere before this time. Location is great if you want to see the Vatican but for anywhere else you need to get the metro or a bus. Overall I don't think this hotel would receive 4 stars if looked at again and have to wonder how many years ago it actually did get them??! I don't think I'd book to stay here again. Lisätietoja

THE ROOMS ARE SUPERB AND THE STAFF HAPPY TO PLEASE, WE HAD PACKED AND PUT OUR LUGGAGE IN A ROOM PROVIDED AND SECURE, WE WENT FOR A WALK AND GOT SOAKING WET, ASKED IF WE COULD GET A CHANGE OF CLOTHES OUT OF CASE, THE MANAGER HANDED US A KEY TO ROOM AND SAID GO AND CHANGE NO PROBLEM.BUFFET BREAKFAST VERY GOOD AND GREAT VIEW TO VATICAN.

Hello, I have recently stayed 4 nights at Atlante Garden Hotel. I'm going to start first with the Location: The location of the hotel is amazing. It's between the Vatican and San Angelo. (5 min walk to San Angelo) In all our stay we haven;t used not even once the public transport. All the major tourist attraction are at 20 min walk. In terms of breakfast […] I usually don't eat so much at breakfast but for me was more than enough (pastries, jam, cheese, orange juice, cereals etc.) The restaurant Les Etoile where the breakfast is served is absolutely great and the view of San Pietro it's really great. The pick up service was really great and comfortable. We arrived in 30 min at the hotel. The room it's not very big but I think it's enough for a vacation. Anyway the hotel I would not say it's 4 stars. Also the bed it's a bit hard so for the ones who love to have a fluffy mattress you should chose other hotel. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel. We found one which was absolutely amazing and the food as well. The restaurant it's held by a family and the food is great great great. The restaurant it's called Porta Castello. The prices are extremely good as well like 8 euros for a pizza, 6 euros for spaghetti pomodoro and 7 euros a bottle of house red wine. The restaurant was full every single night and the staff is really nice. Overall the vacation at this hotel was nice I have enjoyed it. I would definitely stay again at this hotel. First off, this is NOT a 4 star hotel by any standards (US or European). It might have been several years ago but is showing a little age. That said, this hotel isn't bad and you can't argue with the price! Pros: - Friendly Staff - Clean - Great location, not in the middle of town but it's a 10-20 minute walk to most everything - Taxi station is right […] down the street for a quick way to get to the train station - Vatican is right there! - Great cheap breakfast in the morning with a great view - Great shuttle service and comparable rates for the return to the airport - Friendly and helpful staff - Free wifi in the lobby and pay for time in your room (pretty common in Europe) Cons: - Smoke: I have asthma and the first night I had to use my inhaler. If you are super sensitive to smoke you might have issues. - It's misrepresented as a 4 star hotel. It's a solid 3 though - The heating was not that great and the rooms are a little drafty The rooms are small by american standards but not bad. it's a great place to sleep and we were out most of the time. Regarding the smoke smells, the staff let us check out another room on a different floor and really did try to help the best they could. It's also just the fact that we are so spoiled with "smoke free" areas in the US so it takes some getting used to. If you are on a budget and want a clean, safe friendly hotel this is a great place. This was our first trip to Rome. We picked the hotel due to positive ratings and its location on the map close to the Vatican, as well as its room offering. We were pleasantly surprised at just how close to the Vatican it is as well as being located close to the Metro and on a bus route to the Collesium. The hotel was about 1.5 miles from John Cabot […] University, an easy walk. The room we had held three beds, good for our familiy of four. No one had to suffer sleeping on a pull out sofa! The registration desk staff was not much help with local information; however, the bartender in the hotel more than made up for it. We visited with Andreas every night winding down our day and he gave us practical how-to-get-around advice, as well as sights worth seeing from the perspective of a local. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The room is meant for just sleeping, it is not set up for work or hanging out in, but since we were in town to see the sights it was perfect for us! very good for visiting all the main attractions in Rome, they are all within walking distance the only dissapointing thing in the hotel was no kettle in the room for tea and coffee. the staff were very helpfull and arranged taxis to and from the airport.

It was lovely. My parents throughly enjoyed it and they're pretty hard to please. The staff as well as the house keepers were friendly and provided us with lots leaflets, tours we could take and areas to go see as well as taxis and everything else. Bath room were amazing and I'm going to miss the Jaccuzi.

Was steps away from everything! location is awesome. Staff is great all speak english well and are very helpful! Room was to be expected for europe, no complaints and all my stuff was always there! There is a bar right next to it nothing to do with the hotel with nightly live bands and great drinks, staff is a little unpleasant hate there job attitudes […] but great watering hole! so you can get wasted and walk back in like 30 seconds :) Coffee shop across the street easy access for moring rush. The hotel has no restraunt but a nice little bar with a wonderful staff.. but they do have morning buffet its typical european... eat outside anyway is better.. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful (and all very good at English), the location was great - with nice restaurants near-by, the rooms were nice and clean and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on another visit. Would highly recommend!

Perfect location - the Vatican and ancient Rome within walking distance, polite and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts in a restaurant overlooking St Peter's Basilica (totally breathtaking). One of the reception staff was friendly enough, the others didn't want to bother to help us with even basic queries (how dare we drag them away from the football game on TV?). We paid a little extra to include breakfast - it was really good (European continental). If you're hoping for a hot breakfast you'll be disappointed. But large enough selection […] to choose from. Breakfast staff very kind (spoke little English though). Beds in the room very hard and uncomfortable. If you are allocated a front view room (as we were), you will get a lovely view of the Vatican - but you will suffer with constant traffic noise (even at 3am). Bring ear-plugs just in case - and pain pills for your back as the beds leave a lot to be desired. Not the most modern of hotels, but upkept quite well and was clean and tidy. Housekeeping staff friendly (no English). Internet very very slow and disappointing. You can get decent wifi at nearby coffee shops if you want it. My husband and I stayed here Dec 4-11. I thought the location was good- 10 minute walk to Vatican, 10 min to Metra train to go to Colliseum, Spanish Steps, etc., 20-30 minute walk to Trastevere. The room was decent, clean and fairly quiet except in the morning there is traffic noise starting at 7 am, wish I had brought ear plugs, but not a serious problem. […] I think you would likely have traffic noise at most of the hotels though unless you stay at an inside room, but then no view. There is a "hair dryer" in the room, but I would recommend bringing your own as it looks like a vacuum cleaner and takes a long time to dry your hair. The staff was helpful with all the questions we had. We didn't have the hotel breakfast, there are some quite nice little "bar's" near-by serving caffe, cappuccino's and yummy little pastries with-in just a couple minutes walk. Great hotel in a wonderful location! a few minutes walk from Vatican city. The staff is extremely nice although not all of them are too fluid in English which can be a problem at times. The room is small but very cozy and comfortable. Everything you can ask for the price and then some. Personally there are a few great local authentic Cafe's around the hotel (NOT in Piazza del Risorgimento which is expensive) which we liked better and had a coffee and a pastry for around 5 euros. The hotel also offers a shuttle back to the airport for 40 euros for 2 persons. Might be comfortable, but down the street (Via Crescenzio and Piazza Cavour) there is a bus shuttle stop for a company called "Bushuttle" which goes to Fiumicino for around 6 euros - careful - you should check that you will have tickets for it - if it's full the next takes a while to come - makes no additional stops on the way to airport. The reception area of the hotel was in the basement and this should have told us everything we needed to know. The bar area was a sad little space again in the basement and the breakfast room was pretty shabby. The quality of the breakfasts also did nothing to recommend the hotel. Hotel is well located close to Saint Peter Square and Vatican Museum. It is a 5-10 minutes walk to both destinations. You can also walk from the hotel to the main touristic spots in Rome in about 30-45 minutes (Fontana di Trevi, Piaza Navona, Pantheon, Saint Angel Castle). The coliseum is a little far away but you can easily reach it by metro. A metro […] station is within 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel and there is a metro station at your destination right in front of the Coliseum. Front desk staff are ok in helping you whith what you need. However, there is a guy named Franchesco who really makes the difference. He is extremely friendly and helpful in providing directions and information on what to do, where to go, or how to move from one place to another while in Rome. If you need something or want some information, he is the guy you need to talk to. If you are traveling in a budget, there is a grocery store two blocks away from the Hotel where you can buy basically all you need for your breakfasts and snacks.The Hotel provides a van service that pick you up for free from the airport. Disappointing stay. Small elevator. Noisy location with poorly sealed windows. Needs some maintenance done. Poor amenities(ie. 1 wine opener for the entire hotel! with only person having access). We were expecting a 4 star establishment, but did't feel we stayed in one.

The location of the hotel was good for access to the Vatical and St. Peter's Square. We couldn't see the view of St. Peter's dome from the roof of the hotel as advertised in the hotel blurb. The breakfasts were good and plentiful. The hotel decor was of good quality but looked a little drab and tired. The hotel seemed generally dark, and in our opinion […] was more a 3* quality rather than the 4* advertised. Hotel staff were efficient and helpful but seemed to lack warmth. Immediate vicinity of the hotel is in a rather run down part of the street with the dustbins immediate opposite our room (not a great view), and the traffic noise was quite loud at times. Our bedroom window looked straight out on to the main road meaning we had to keep the shutters closed and therefore had no natural light in the room. Some of the hotel reception staff were not particularly friendly and didn't acknowledge us as we collected our bags to leave. The free shuttle bus from the airport has to be reserved which we didn't realise. […] You must also pay around €18 city tax at the end of your stay which is not included in the price.
