Red Roof Inn West Palm Beach - West Palm Beach

For a low cost hotel this is a decent place, but more value for the same money is availabe if you look around couple exits south at Stay Inn. Even though RRI is more hotel-like, it is just not as clean and modern. An ok place for a couple nights if travelling with low budjet.

My husband and I helped a friend out and booked a hotel for him based on his friend's recommendation at the Red Roof in based on its proximity to a nearby church. Our friend was preaching for the weekend coming in from NYC. We were mortified to find out that he was severely mistreated on his hotel stay. He was bitten by a bug and when he brought it […] up to the front desk employee named Mercedes, she told him that he had to leave and accused him to have brought the bug from NYC! He was very embarrassed to have to call us the next day, but we were able to quickly book another hotel for him and he was able to have a better night sleep the next evening! We booked last minute and was glad to get a room, the only problem was it must have been a smoking room because when we opened the door it smelled like some dumped a gallon of Febreeze in the room. We had to turn off the air and open the door for about an hour just to air out the room. My husband could not sleep because of the smell of freshner.

WE CALLED AHEAD AND BOOKED TO CHECKIN EARLY IN THE MORNING AND ARRIVED AFTER WORKING ALL NITE AND DRIVING 4 HOURS TO BE TOLD WE HAD TO WAIT THREE HOURS TO CHECK IN. THEN WE DO THIS AND ARE TOLD WE HAVE TO CHECK OUT FOUR HOURS LATER... THIS IS CRAZY WE DID GET IT TAKEN CARE OF BUT A HUGE INCONVINCE TO US..

The price was good but the service of the front desk was terrible. The beds were very hard and the WiFi was did not work in the room. I asked for non smoking room and my room smelled like smoke.

The attendant were rude and needed more customer Service training. House keeping staff Need to be more diversified and trained on ethics & respect . Many of the rooms were rusted, water damaged, smelly and not sanitary. I went thru 5 rooms before they were able to get me into a pretty decent room. One of the beds looked like some one slept in it. The showerhead was clogged so it only had half a stream which sprayed in all different directions. The carpet was filthy and dirty, and to top it all it seemed to be a local party hearty. There was loud talking and shouting until I fell asleep at about three in the morning

had 2 AC units one didn't work the other barely. Waited 10 minutes for anyone to come and check us in at the desk. Moldy smell in room but it was reasonably clean.

when we arrived at the hotel they gave us a room with a bad smell and a bag a garbage right as we walked in the door and beds were not made. i requested another room which t hey gave us which still had a bad smell and an air humintifier which was loud and ran all night long. no micro or frig. one of the worst hotel expiereces i have ever had will NEVER […] stay at a red roof inn again Lisätietoja

if you for a one night stay, its ok, no more than that. also, some guest do not respect the signs of NOT SMOOKING.....they smoke in the room and then some. The cleaning people do theri job nice , but really they can not do anything about the smoking smell.

The hotel served its purpose, as we were not spening any time in the hotel, just to sleep.

This inn is not one for the family. Everything was set up at check in and I didn't have to do anything other than present my ID. Friendly staff. However, the room smelled like humidity and the bathroom like urine. THe room seemed very run down and the beds felt like a spring was going to come through my back at any minute. I know that the nightly fee […] was really cheap but I would at least expect a clean smelling room. There is a convenient Crackel Barrel across the building and it is very close to the I-95. Bed sheets seemed clean but the towels felt like sand paper on my body. If you are going to stay in this area, look at the Homewood Suites, and Marriot right next door. AWFUL Hotel, arrived late due to flight. Hotels.com made it up to me by switiching my 2nd night stay to a much nicer hotel!!! Thank you! WILL NEVER STAY AT A RED ROOF INN!!!!

Great Stay, The staff were friendly, the room was clean. The bed could have been a bit better, but overall it was a great stay.

The room was spacious, the pool was heated. Parking was free. Everything was ok.

Paper thin walls and I could hear the toilet flush. Had a no smoking room and the mattress smelled like smoke.

My stay was not terrible but it wasn't great either therefore I would not recommend this hotel to a friend. The woman who checked me in was not friendly at all, the beds were old and we could feel the springs, we saw a small cockroach in the room (didn't freak us out though, we are in Florida), and when I went to get coffee, it was all gone. The only thing about this hotel I can really commend is Natalie, who was working at the front desk when I checked in. Natalie is friendly, patient and helpful; a real asset to this hotel. The first room smelled very musty (all of the rooms had free-standing dehumidifiers), and the smoking room didn't smell much worse, so I accepted it. It was getting late and I didn't want to have to find another place, especially since during my check-in Natalie had to tell two other people that the hotel was sold out. I had thoroughly searched this site and others for a reasonably priced room (two star, in this case) and this was the only one available that had some positive reviews. I generally try to book three star rooms, but the prices for available rooms in both the W. Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale areas at this time were double what I usually pay in Orlando, Tampa or Miami. My room was clean and bug-free, but the carpet was old and dingy and the furniture was old and worn. The room had a safe for valuables, a microwave and a mini fridge. The bed was pretty hard, but I am used to sleeping on a pillow-top bed. If you like an extra-firm bed, you'll like theirs. This was a basic, no-frills room. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night, this is a safe place in a convenient location (next to I-95). We were in town (West Palm) for a court date. Needing a room for just one night. We decided on Red Roof for Rate and distance to the court house. Check - In: Was extremly simple, gave my name, got my key. This a hotel the accepts PETS free of charge so we saw them w/their owners walking around. Rooms: The first room we had was on the 3rd floor, We […] went to on the elevator and immediatley when the door open to the floor it was hot and musty. We went to out room and it had an extremely strong oder of cat urine. I sprayed some febreeze I brought from home and it didn't help. My husbands nose was burning. Also there was cat food inside the AC handler, cigartette holes on our blanket -in our non-smoking room. *My husband called down stairs and we were given another room NO problem. 2nd Room: What a difference no smell, no stains, CLEAN, and AC worked GREAT! traveling with husband down the coast of florida for 2 weeks. Needed to economize. Hotel was near main hwy so convenient to stores, we had trouble with the heat and refrig working in 3 rooms. Front desk was very accomadating by the 4th one--we chose the best heater because it was getting cold at nite. The room's cleanliness was OK. Sheets clean. Bed […] comfortable enough. Internet good. "Roof" as in dogs, yes. Something I didn't realize was that this hotel was pet friendly (to the friendly well-behaved pet) until I read up on their website for other information. What a nice change to be able to bring my little shadow along for a road trip. Upon my arrival everything about this hotel was A+. Clean, great customer service..you name […] it. My room was on the 3rd floor which I had access to from the main lobby via elevator or I could take the stairs, which I chose to do so that my dog wouldn't be too overwhelmed with the strange surroundings. My room was a big room (business suite) which was superb. Roomy, clean and a great view. This room included a microwave and mini fridge, which I did not get to use since I ended up going directly across to the Cracker Barrel restaurant across the parking lot. I loved that place as well. The room was very quiet and there was no way to tell there were children in the next room until you walked by outside of their room in the hall. I slept so soundly it was unbelievable. The bed was very comfortable and there were an x amount of channels to watch on the tv. My only complaint, (which I hate to use that word) was when turning the channels there was such a loud flicker type sound that was louder than the actual sound on the tv itself. Overall my experience was great and I would look forward to staying here again in a heartbeat! And for those who do not know the surroundings close by, the hotel room had information on places to visit which I thought was a nice touch. I-95 is right there for you to jump on if you need to go to City Place virtually minutes away and a water park down the road and around the corner.. oh, you will see for yourself when you arrive! Basic hotel with a comfy bed and clean bathroom. Nothing to write home about but sufficient for your needs.

While the price was right, you get exactly what you paid for. NOT TOO MUCH. The room smelled like someone had recently thrown-up, the shower drain was clogged with hair. The beds were so very uncomfortable I woke with a wicked back-ache, and the rug was one that without slippers I would've left my shoes on. I also feel I should mention that there were […] FOUR WPB police cruisers there busting someone in the hotel for about 2 1/2 hours. Disinterested staff, odd people in corridors, lots of screams, arguments, police presence in parking lot. Would not stay again

Room was clean and hotel staff was great. Extra bedding, pillows, towels, upon request without hassle. Slight musty smell in the hallway but room was perfect. I would definately stay again.

The room was damp. The pillows and sheets were damp...almost wet. I woke up with small bug bites (about 3). The bath tub plug would not stay up, therefore, my shower kept turning into a bath. I tried to put something to hold the plug up as I showered.

The hotel stank, smelled of mildew. We were placed on the top floor at the end of the hall. No one else occupied the hall and mgr would't change it at our request. Asked for a wake-up call which never came. One reading light was out, which they did fixed promptly. No place to plug in computer near the desk. Other hotels we have stayed in same price […] range had microwaves and refrigerators. Red Roof had none. When I was asked about our stay and mentioned no wake up call the desk clerk didn't even bother to apologize. The coffee in the lobby was lousy, no sweetener available except sugar. The hotel is in a safe location but the room itself was somewhat clean but the room was damp; my clothes felt damp even from hanging on the stand. The room phone was filthy and I think it has been whipped with a dirty cloth as when reception called me I could smell stale water. Really enjoyed my stay.

The price is good. Good Service. Clean rooms. Close by to the attractions we attended ( Rapid Waters). Free WI-FI. My son enjoyed the pool
