"Close to Wenatchee marathon"
It was April 21 and warm outside. I turned on the thermostat to cold. It never got down to what we wanted so I called the front desk. They sent a maintenance guy down. "Comfortable older hotel"
Older hotel, needs some maintenance. Outdoor hot tub was not working. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Our room was next to the train tracks, so we woke up once to a train going through. "Comfy and Nice"
They had lots of comfy pillows and the bathroom was really nice. They included body wash with the bathroom stuff which I appreciated and wish more hotels would do. The only thing I think is the shower could have been cleaner. It wasn't gross, but it could have used a good bleach job on the bottom.

"Good Value"
The Red Lion in Wenatchee is reasonably priced and clean
Not having a continental breakfast was unusual, as we have gotten used to that amenity. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was hard to find when entering Wenactchee. I guess that was more Hotels.coms fault then the fault of the Hotel itself. Overall good experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was there was some mold on the rubber bath mat in the shower. It looked like they attempted to bleach it away, but it showed the stain and this should have been enough to justlfy replacing it.

Only problem was the water/mold in tile grout in bathroom shower. Nice room, but could put lotion and a few other item including coffee maker.

"A solid old girl"
I have stayed at the Red Lion since my first visit in the late 1990's. There are now much newer hotels I should probably try, but old habits die hard. The Hotel was once a grand affair and built to last. It now looks a bit dated, but the rooms are well appointed and clean. Staff are friendly but perhaps too casual - breakfast waitstaff were more interested […] in their morning Sudoku than the customers, but it was a tasty and well priced meal buffet, so I'll be back anyway. Some rooms are a long way from reception and the hotel, like many other on that side of the road, backs onto the railway line. If you are light sleeper, you might want to avoid those rooms. "Red Lion in Wenatchee -- reservations screwed up"
A nice enough hotel but we had made our reservations and paid for them for a room with two queen-sized beds. When we got there at 7 p.m., they only had left a room with one queen-sized bed and an offer of a roll-away. They did give us free breakfast coupons as compensation but I'd be wary about reservng there and paying for a certain type of room.

"Concert goer"
I stayed at this hotel as I went to a concert at the Gorge. It was nice. You could hear the train noise. That was the only downfall of the hotel. Breakfast was $5 per person but it was a good breakfast and we would have paid more than that at a restaurant. I would stay at this hotel again.

Great place to stay. The service was excellant and the buffet breakfast was terrific.Only complaint was it was a bit noisy in the hallway the second night.We would definitely stay at any Red Lion again.

The Hotel staff was nice and efficient. I was happy to see the front desk attended at all times of the day and night. Room was clean and comfy. The pool area and outside of the court yard could use a little tlc but overall was very nice.

Older facility, reasonably well maintained. Next to railroad tracks in somewhat industrial area, so room location is important. Rates make facility attractive compared to newer nearby competitors. Breakfast costs $4.95 extra per day, with unlimited buffet and beverages. Did not experience lunch or dinner on premises.

I normally have trouble sleeping for the first night away from home. After checking in to the Red Lion/Wenatchee, I crashed on the bed and immediately fell to sleep. "Dirty, broken hotel"
The entire hotel is in a terrible state of disrepair!! Literal holes in ceilings and walls. Mold and mildew in the bathroom!! I will NEVER stay there again!!! The only good remark I have is that even though the bedspread was dirty leading me to question the clean factor of the rest of the bedding, the actual bed itself was soft and comfortable. In addition the restaurant attached to the hotel gave both my son and myself food poisoning. We were very nearly unable to attend the family wedding we were in town for. The staff was wonderful at the front desk. They were extremely accomidating to all of our needs. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. Other than that we would stay here again.

For the deal we got the Red Lion is the place to stay. The rooms were very nice, big comfy, great armoire, bathrooms updated and luxurious..All you can eat hot meal for $4.95 and nice hot tub (it's spring) no need for pool yet.

This was a good room with a good location. My only issue was that, for the price, most hotels include a comparable breakfast at no charge. If the hotel charges for breakfast, there should be more options.
"Nice Place To Stay"
This was a very nice hotel. The room was big, kingsize bed (that was actually a kingsize bed) a view overlooking Lake Chelan, clean and comfortable. We had a small deck (would be perfect for warm weather) with chairs to sit and watch the water. It was very relaxing and we are looking forward to staying there again in June.

"Customer Service Very Poor"
1. I waited five minutes to check-in with two other guests while the one person at the desk talked with someone on the phone. 2. I asked for an extra pillow. After 20 minutes it arrived - without a pillow case. 3. My room was not cleaned one of three days I was there.

THE HOTEL APPEARED TO BE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RENOVATED-UPDATED. THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE. THE TRAIN NOISES WERE EXTREME AT NIGHT. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GREAT AND AFFORDABLE. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO USE THE HOTEL AT A FUTURE DATE.
"Lots of mirrors to get ready!"
It was fantastic. GREAT price. 4 of us in a room. Lots of space and MIRRORS! That's important for ladies (4 of us)! Wonderful Stay. Only complaint is the hotel bar closed at 10!!!! WTH is that?

The stay was nice, other than the hot tub either not working or being turned way down the first night of our stay. There was a soccer tourny that weekend and the hotel was full of children, as was the pool and hot-tub. Sound was kept to a minimum

We were thinking of getting a quick night-cap just after midnight but was told the bar closed already. On a Saturday night?! Other than that, we were very happy with the hotel, service, and amenities.

When we arrived on Friday all was well when we checked in as everything was prepaid through hotels dot com, so it was pretty easy. I noticed that this hotel is pet friendly as I noticed that a few guests had their dogs with them. I swam in the pool on Friday and they said it was a heated outdoor pool, but I discovered it was quite cold and had a hard […] time "relaxing" in the pool as I spent most of my time trying to get used to the cold. The next morning, the breakfast that is offered for under five bucks in the restaurant, but you will get much better breakfast up the road at Smitty's as they specialize in breakfast. The hotel breakfast was OK, everything was buffet style in steamer pans, so it lacked any kind of flavor. When we returned to our room on Saturday evening, we discovered that one of the beds in the room hadn't been made as maid service only folded up the sheets and put them on top of the bedspread. The room was clean, but the next morning, when we pulled out the coffee service tray in the cupboard, we discovered they didn't clean it the day before, so we had no coffee or clean mugs, so I had to go to the front desk in myh PJs and ask for coffee and mugs. The front desk was very receptive and apologetic. When we checked out in a few hours, the front desk staff was courteous and there were no costs incurred on our room because we had prepaid, so it was simple and easy and we were out the door, headed to smitty's for some breakfast. Everybody was extremely friendly, every time we walked in the hotel we were greeted with a smile. The self serve breakfast was a good deal. And there is shopping and dining right around the corner. I would definitely stay there again.
