Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel - Denver

A typical big city hotel: location very central, price relatively hig given the service and facilities, but rooms and service same as in any motel chain around the city. Everything fine, but the housekeping did not ever get that we had 4 persons in the room (towels and coffee only for 3 person even after I mentioned about that) during a 4 night stay […] (plentty of time to learn). this hotels floor plan is so confusing you feel like a rat in a maze except the rats probably get better amenities in their rooms. The toilet had to be flushed multiple times to work, the heating was hit or miss and the staff minimally attentive. Many better hotels in the area.

Very nice location in the 16th Street Mall and therefore expensive parking. Rooms are very well kept to your convenience. Down side is there is no mini fridge and no ipod/iphone dock station. Overall good

I absolutely love downtown Denver, however this hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. I expected more from a 4 star hotel than what I saw. The common areas are beautiful, however that same money and time was not put into the rooms in my opinion. My wife and I reserved the king bed room, and the room was so small that the bed barely fit. There were numerous […] cracks in the walls and the room had an overall feeling of an old hotel that they threw some artistic photos on the wall. I would have gladly paid the amount they were asking if the room wasn't so small. On top of the feeling that we weren't getting what we were paying for, you have to pay an additional $24 just to park your car in the garage. Very nice and pleasant with all the amenities! Very close to all sporting events

The stay was pleasurable and the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating however during a stay anywhere there is downtown with hectic personal schedules and an individual likes to retreat to their room for some rest and relaxation. Everything in my room was wonderful, comfortable and enjoyable however my television had only half of the channels […] they have listed and the channels that did come in were fuzzy and unable to watch. I didn't make a big deal out of it but upon checkout the clerk was friendly and thanked for me making her aware of the situation and continued to apologize for the problem, but it stopped there. A coupon or something would have been enough generosity to make up for that one thing that was wrong with my stay. Other than that I was very pleased and impressed with the hotel. Lisätietoja

Had a great time for St. Patricks Day and was in walking distance of all the festivities. The staff was great and we checked in right away. They were able to check us in early and even offered to hold our bags if a room was not available. Many restaurants/bars in the area. Will definetly stay again. Rooms were so clean and upscale.

The Sheraton was in a perfect location. The one thing that made this hotel not so great was the fact that the walls in my room in the tower part of the hotel were paper thin. Any time someone was in the hallway talking I would hear it.

Very nicely remodeled hotel with an excellant location off of 16th street. Views of the city and mountians were amazing. Location allows anyone to go out and have a good time while staying in the heart of denver.

Hotel lobby and common areas nice, but the rooms were less than desireable. Old cheap furniture, sliding doors falling off the closets, tiny and ugly bathrooms, bad water pressure. Many other places much nicer for less money. Definately not a 4 star place! Great location though.

The location was perfect...close to a ton of different bars/restaurants as well as shopping. My only complains were the sheets on the beds. They were a bit scratchy feeling and had a lot of static (you could see it spark when you pulled them down). Other than that we were extremely satisfied.

Great location. I have stayed here before and liked it but when we checked in this time they put us in the adjacent tower. It was quite a walk and as we went down the hall toward our room the doors to each room were very beat up. Big scratches and and old looking. When we got in the room it smelled musty and was tiny. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed there with a friend over New Years weekend and it was close enough to all of the sites we wanted to see we never had to take our car out. Great price for the location and quality of the hotel would recommend it to anyone looking to stay on 16th street mall :)

We went there for New Years Eve. It's right on the 16th street Mall, so we just stepped out into the festivities. Not one complaint about this great hotel!

Very nice hotel. The rooms were huge and wide - kind of had a penthouse feel. The lobby was beautiful and had a coffee shop and restaurant. Hotel was in a great location downtown. Underground parking.

Upon checking into my room I turned on the A/C unit to cool it down. After about an hour of the unit running I realized that it was not cooling down at all and actually was getting hotter. I double/triple checked the Thermostat to make sure the settings were right and they were. When I left for dinner that evening I informed the front desk clerk "Carson" […] that the unit was not working properly and he called it into engineering to take a look at it. Upon arriving home that evening I realized the place was just as hot if not hotter than when I left. I do not know if engineering looked at it or not but the A/C did just not work. It was a very miserable night of sleeping since the place was already hot with no way to cool it down. Not a Happy customer. Lisätietoja

My girlfriend and I stayed here over New Year's and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect with easy access to shopping and restaurants within walking distance or a short ride on the free mall bus. On New Year's eve we walked down 16th street enjoying the festivities and fireworks that where shot off the hotel tower we stayed in. Would definitely […] stay here again. The only negative thing I can say is that the hotel staff was not very knowledgeable on the best way to get to Sports Authority field. They suggested we take a taxi, when in fact it was cheaper/easier to take the public transportation to the stadium - located a few blocks from the hotel. Lisätietoja

We decided to splurge and stay at the Sheraton for New Years Eve so we could watch the fireworks from our hotel room. I specifically asked for an upper floor and asked if it would be possible to see the fireworks from our rooms.I was assured that we could see them.We arrived at 5pm. We waited for over an hour to check in.I asked again when I checked […] in and the clerk said there was no ability to see fireworks from the hotel because they were being launched from the building next door. There were 3 people with disabilities in our party and we were overlooked/ignored at the hotel restaurant.We purchased our dinner from a fast food restaurant across the street. When the fireworks began we could only see a slight reflection of them on the building across the street from our room. Our bill was extremmely high for 2 rooms for 1 night. The decor is dated. Great bars. Clean hotel. Just don't expect any help from the concierge. Called them several times, months early, asking for info on clubs and restaurants for New Years. They told us to google New Years in Denver. Upon arrival we learned about several clubs having specials that were sold out and all restaurants were booked.

I really enjoyed the hotel and the stay all very well minus the $24 dollar hotel parking. Hotel guests shouldn't have to pay for parking.

Stayed at the downtown Sheraton in Denver for NYE 2012. They handed out wristbands to control visitors, which was not convenient for me, being that I had family from out of town wanting to visit. They actually did not let visitors in to the hotel without a wristband! I was not aware of this when I booked this hotel. Had I known they were doing this, […] I would not have booked at the Sheraton. We rented an executive suite and the front area smelled like cat litter for some reason, the bathroom was tiny and the water pressure was very low. I was not impressed with the room at all. The elevators to the parking garage also malfunctioned during check out, so we had to walk outside around the block and down the ramp to get to our vehicle. We stayed at the downtown Sheraton over New Year's Eve. As a family with kids, this could have been a disaster with all the parties happening around town, but the Sheraton staff ensured that everyone was having a great time and that their weren't disruptions all night long. We stay here often when we visit downtown Denver and have never been disappointed. […] It's always a top notch experience--kids love the rooftop pool, staff is always professional, rooms are very comfortable, and you can't beat the location! Great hotel, great staff, room was really great. Awesome location - 5 min by taxi to Pepsi Center. Bar/grill in hotel has over 100 beers on tap. We also had 1/2 price appetizer, seared Ahi tuna,,,YUMMY only tuna I ever met that I liked! Will stay at Sheraton again, if my travels ever take me to Denver, CO

Everything was brilliant. Helpful, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, excellent location. A top notch hotel, and not a bad price. Only downside is they charge for just about everything at a high price ($24 for self-parking! Yeesh.) Other than that, it was great.

The room was oddly shaped whith no clothes storage other than hangers. The heat would not shut off and as a result we could not sleep well. Even maintenance could not fix the situation. I have stayed at many hotels in downtown Denver and this is by far the least favorite.

Denver Sheraton was comfortable and convenient to the 16th Street Mall. Price via internet was reasonable, the parking fee seemed excessive. No other complaints.

The over all hotel was very impressive. With as big as the lobby is and all the space they have I thought the rooms were going to be awesome. Nope. They were so small. Not impressed. Our closet doors FELL OFF when we went to hang our clothing. The TV picture didn't work. Just the sound. The bathroom is so small; the shower is about the size of the bathroom […] door and the door isn’t that big! We could hear EVERYTHING that our neighbor was doing. Not fun. The lady behind the front desk didn't seem to care that our room wasn't to par. I will not be staying there again. For the amount of money that I forked out for this room, I would have rather stayed at the Curtis Hotel. Oh, and no I-Pod docking station. Just a lousy AM/FM Alarm Clock with bad reception! I made a reservation online and was able to secure a really good rate for a very fine hotel. Nice stay!

I've stayed at Comfort Inns that had free internet. The Sheraton should be ashamed.
